Established in 2015.

Broaden Law LLP was founded by two attorneys who shared the same core values in their law practices: leadership, accountability, loyalty, communication, community involvement and professional development.

Marisa N.

Business Owner

Marisa’s practice encompasses a broad range of practice areas such as Family Law, Real Estate, Contract Disputes, Personal Injury, and Debt Collection.

Marisa began her legal career working as an in-​house attorney at a Fortune 500 company. Marisa relocated to San Diego but was unhappy with the law firm status quo, Marisa sought out to follow her passion. Namely, helping people in a more meaningful and rewarding way. To that end, or let’s say, new beginning, Marisa and Naima developed Broaden Law LLP — a company dedicated to helping people through difficult matters, while remaining mindful of maintaining relationships between averse parties and minimizing legal fees.

Marisa gives back to the community through a nonprofit she established in 2015 called The Kokua Foundation. The purpose of the Kokua Foundation is two fold: fulfilling underprivileged children’s holiday wishes during the holidays, and instilling in our children the importance of giving back.
