I’ve done business with Blackies for years. They are low pressure, local brick and mortar merchants and I’d found that they always work with my timeframe. Unfortunately, I was a minute late to my meter (parked right outside the store) and an Ace Meter maid must have been standing, waiting for the meter to expire. A transaction that took a few more minutes than anticipated ended up costing me an additional $ 37.50. I will now search for a merchant with an unmetered parking lot.

I have chosen to give this establishment my business for many years, but I think this will be the last time. There are so many options to choose on the internet, but I was trying to support a local business. After picking up medals for my son;s team, I was disappointed that I wasn’t told «thank you for your continued business» or something along those lines. She just took the payment and that was it. After getting home and looking at the engraving on the back, which you could barely read and did not look professional, I decided that was it. My other son’s team bought their medals on the internet and they turned out great. The engraving was readable and dark. Blackies needs to step up on the customer service and work on their engraving!

Our company needed some acrylic awards for our best customers. Each would have our company logo engraved plus the company names of (4) different customers. They had a great number of styles, sizes and options to choose from. We were late getting our plan together, pressed for time and didn’t want to spend big dollars for either a rush fee or the awards themselves. After a very brief discussion they came up with a solution that met all my needs, completed the project early and made me look like a hero. I’m awesome =)
