Albertsons

This was by far the most beautiful Albertsons I’ve ever been in from northern to Southern California, and the top three best grocery stores I’ve been in period. I was so impressed with their immense selection of freshly prepped ingredients. Everything from fruits likes watermelon, fruit salad and peeled and sliced mangos to chopped and season veggie options, diced green onions, fresh made guac etc. If I lived here I don’t think I’d ever have to prep for a meal with all these fresh and ready raw ingredient options. The rest of the store offered a great variety, was super clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. As a traveler with a family you never know what to expect from place to place so feeling safe in a store environment means a lot. Wish I had one of these back home!

the managment and employees here apparently let full grown adults to be pushed around in a shopping cart… how ghetto can you get!

I love this store! Whenever i want to make some amazing sandwiches i come here. Their deli is to die for! Has sooo many meats, cheeses, breads and also has wide variety of salads and stuff I also found some pretty good deals on kelloggs cereal buy a minimum of 4 boxes and get each one for 1.88 as well as kelloggs fruit snacks. Also the kids wanted some cookies. Grabbed a 36 pack of freshly baked cookies for $ 5 perfect if you ask me. The cookies were bomb!!! Mixture of about 4 different flavors too. I come fuck with albertsons for many things

I come here at night after 7:30, I always find this place empty I enjoy shopping late night. My Cashiers are super nice. Currently playing the monopoly game looking for a chance to win anything, I have a couple of repeating game pieces. Wish me luck

Slowwwwwww. Insanely long lines. Cashiers no sense of urgency. Poorly managed. I wish there were more grocery stores in the area to choose from.

I enjoy going to this Albertson’s versus other grocery stores. This Albertson’s is always clean, fully stocked shelves, and plenty of people to assist you if you need help finding a particular item.
I started coming here more often because the Vons down the street is now closed. It was on the corner of third Avenue and L Street. It became Haggens and then it shut down a few months later. So now the traffic to this Albertson’s has greatly increased. One thing I do like is they have fresh chicken wings daily there here! Mmmm
It’s a large store and the prices are not bad. Though I wish they had a discount card. One main thing I enjoy is there is a small Chase bank located inside the grocery store. But unfortunately the bank is going to close really soon so that is a bummer.

Since most of the grocery stores on the west side of Chula Vista have closed we’re stuck with Albertsons. The biggest problem they now have is too few employees. They claim they hired more individuals after Haggen closed but only one register was open this morning. I asked why. They said a lot of people called in sick, again. They said the same people called in sick every weekend shift and the manager does nothing. The managers are afraid of the union so they won’t discipline or fire the employees. Now we’re stuck waiting in very long lines watching our frozen food thaw and the dairy products get warm. Open more registers!

I come to this location to order my cakes love them all the time so good and fresh and beautiful. Today I picked up a cake and I am so satisfied by its beauty I can’t believe how beautiful it looks!!! The bakers name that worked on my cake is SUSANA. Thank you so much Susana I loved the cake!!!

I love the fact that it’s always clean here, but I hate the fact that there’s always long lines. I feel that they could use self checkout or just more employees at the cash register. They did however have a stack of 18 freshly baked cookies for $ 2.50. Anyways if you’re trying to get in and out of a grocery store this is not it! long lines that’s all I have to say.

It’s been SO long since I was in a full service grocery store I am euphoric!
But this grocery store is off the charts! Like a 5 star restaurant. I would have given them 5 stars if their prices were just a little better.
The manager was extremely helpful trying to track down my Bud 55 select case I wanted. He didn’t find it but when I was checking out he reminded me to fill out a customer request!
Their bathroom was clean!
The checker gave me a 10 dollar off coupon I didn’t know existed. It was really shocking! M
I will go back! And hopefully they will have my case of bud select 55! ;)

Worst service in the pharmacy!!! I asked the night pharmacist with help with a fever reducer and a sinus congestion medicine and she referred me to some DayQuil. I decided to go with sudafed, since it always works best for my boyfriend. When I was ready, I went over to the «pick up» window and was ready to be checked out. I stood there for a good minute when I decided to look over to see if the pharmacist would look my direction. There was no look towards my way. Instead the pharmacist was busy playing on her phone unaware of her surroundings. Finally, I decided to say «okay, I’ll just take the sudafed.» She glanced over my direction, started to head my way and the phone rang. She picked up the phone and said «hold, please» and walked over to the other side of the counter. Didn’t bother to say, «I’ll be right there.» Again, she finally came back towards my direction and asked for my ID card and she started to input my information into the computer. I glanced over to look at the medication she had in her hand and she had the generic version of Sudafed. So I asked her if I could get the name brand instead. Her response was «I can’t, I’ve already put your information into the computer.» I asked her again if she could please somehow reverse it and she said she couldn’t and that it was already processed through the DEA. Long story short, this is the SECOND time I have an issue with the same pharmacist. Not only have I had an issue with her but the cashier who was checking me out also told me her mom has has an issue with her. My father’s prescription has also been lost by that same individual. She didn’t care about whether or not I got my medicine. Out of convenience, since I was shopping for food, I took the chance of dealing with her and decided to give it a try, but NEVER again will I go back. I now do my shopping and get my prescription at separate locations. She needs to be moved to somewhere where she does not have direct interaction with customers. Worst pharmacy in Chula Vista. Will be speaking to the manager soon.

The face of your business has 2 American Flags that barely have any Color… it is important that you replace those American Flags immediately and show some pride for this Country that I have gone to 2 different Wars for. Your management, directors and Executive Staff should feel absolutely ashamed of yourselves as leaders for allowing such a simple task to miserably fail.
1) Remove the tattered old American flags.
2) Shred them with a razor blade.
3) Burn them
4) Bury the ashes and give this symbol of our freedom the respect it deserves

I have been to this location for the past 4 years and they have had always great service and very easy to find everything you need in your shopping. John one of the managers their is really great he always has a positive and a lot of energy at work which I like to see. He is there whenever you have any question.

I like doing my groceries here. And I love that they have a chase bank inside which is pretty convenient for me. They have everything and I love that they expanded their non dairy options and all their fruits and veggies are always looking fresh. But I do get dissapointed when it’s time to pay and go to the register. Since there’s always long lines. And it takes for ever for them to open up a new register. I mean there’s a lot of elderly and I feel bad for them. But by o means when u go up to the person at the register they always seem happy and with great attitude!

We come to this Albertson’s to do some grocery shopping when items are on sale. My husband picked up some 6 packs of bottled soda, mainly root beer which is his favorite drink. I don’t drink soda. I only like to drink iced tea or water. I will occasionally drink flavored teas. We also picked up some snacks for my daughter.
I really loved how they put Valentine’s Day stuff like balloons and chocolate on display. I also loved the flowers they put out. If you are looking for something for that special someone, you can pick them up here. So many items to choose from.
There is plenty of parking in front of the store. There’s also an employee that brings in carts if you need them.
Great place to get good deals.

Luis, the manager of the meat department is terrific! He is so knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I spoke with him several times regarding a crown roast that we are preparing for Christmas dinner and he was patient with me (as a novice, not knowing what a crown roast was or how to cook it) and took the time to explain everything to me. I always get beautiful and tasty meats from this store and now I am additionally thrilled to have received such excellent customer service from Luis. Thanks again!

The Bakery is Awesome! Ana has helped on several occasions when I’ve come in idealess and came out thinking O Yeah! The cakes are always great tasting and exactly how I imagine them. Thanks Albertsons and Thank you Ana for all your help!

I DETEST going to this Albertson’s. I still go, because it’s the closest one, but I don’t go that often,
They are sooooooooo slow. Like, ridiculously slow. I have waited in one of their checkout line for 27 minutes before. They never have enough lanes open, and their checkers were not trained for speed.
I like how it’s big and they have a big produce section (which I don’t use too often, because Henry’s/Sprouts is right next door) for when I just need 1 or 2 of something.
Even the TINY one Albertson’s in Coronado seems to be faster than this one, though not much. So happy that fresh & easy is opening up across the street, hopefully between that and Henry’s, I won’t need to go to Albertson’s anymore.

I’ve been coming to this store ever since it was a Lucky’s.
I must of been about twelve years old when I first started coming here.
Anyway, I love this Albertson’s because its always open late, its big, always clean, nice and helpful staff and I always seem to find good deals on organic milk, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, water and random stuff.

Worst staff ever!!! I have never been treated like i was incompetent! Seriously it isn’t my fault that the advertisement left out that you had to purchase four of something before you could get the sale price. Why the hell would I buy four boxes of cereal and then on top of it please don’t make all cherrios on a sale price just a few. Anyways the guy in the isle treated me like i was a child. I absolutely refuse to ever come back to this store.
I can buy the same stuff for better prices at other grocery stores. Not worth the trip!
