I stopped by here on the way from the yoga studio. It is great for quick stops when I don’t feel like dealing with crowds at the big box stores and you need to get in and out quickly. I got a great deal on Cilantro — 4 for $ 1! The produce is definitely fresh, but regular grocery items like soda, cereal, dairy, etc is priced more like a convenience store so I wouldn’t do my big shopping here. They do seem to have a nice selection of meats and some pre-made meals so probably a great place to stop after work. Easy parking, store was clean, clerk was friendly and bi-lingual! I will shop here again — especially if they have more of that great Cilantro pricing!

Great little market. I go here often when I only need a few things. The best part is the butcher at the meat counter. The only place I go for meat. Chops, carne asada, chicken, and the steaks! Omg the steaks are amazing! Great little store. Glad I live nearby.

Wonderful meats & guacamole! This is my go-to for tortillas, chips, in-store made guacamole, marinated pollo and adobada. Most produce is excellent quality. The greens are always fresh. Avocados, onions, cilantro are abundant here. Just a not: their fresh salas are spicy. Snacking mood? Chips galore here! I love the Mexican brand chips they sell here that I can’t get at Vons or Ralphs. The only thing I don’t recommend are there apples and strawberries. For some reason they’re not good. All in all VERY cheap prices & convenient! I spend $ 30 here instead of $ 60 – 70 at Vons on the same items! Quick service, dinner on your table in 25 min.

I frequent Garden Farms for fresh veggies when I can. Most of the people here are very friendly with the exception of one young cashier who is not personable and never smiles. You can find some local beers here and even the 99cent Rockstar drinks if that is your thing. They recently renovated the refrigeration in 2 different areas here, the area near the front which allows them to display more veggies, and the display near the meats which houses lunch meats, juices, and dairy products. This allows for a wider aisle yet makes it possible to display more products.

Love this place. They have good produce, good prices on the produce. There’s a service meat counter with GREAT steaks(to die for steaks!!!). Fresh made salsas, crema, huge assortment of FRESH tortillas(local and otherwise). Some of the canned/boxed items aren’t the best price on the planet but they make up for it in the variety of offerings. I really enjoy going here. I can get in and out of this little neighborhood store in a very brief period, where the big box corporate places have you walking over acres and acres and waiting in lines to get out. I’ve shopped here for almost 30 years, and they just keep getting better!

With gas and food prices increasing at a steady march to the sky I have started to pay more attention to where I shop for groceries, and have actually started looking at the flyers I get in my mailbox that I used to throw out. The meat prices are what caught my eye since I have really had to cut down on buying the kinds and quantities of meat that I am used to. The overall meat prices are excellent and the specials are unbelievable.($ 3.29 New York Steak last week for instance). All that remained was to actually visit and see how it looked, smelled, and tasted. I was pleasantly surprised to see a very clean store(unlike another reviewer) and the vegetable section which I passed on my way to the meat counter looked absolutely fantastic, both the prices, freshness and neat display. This is a Mexican neighborhood and Probably a Mexican owned store, in some of these they cut the meat for that culture only and you are lucky to see something like a real steak or other American cuts, but this meat counter was a nice blend of two cultures, having all my favorite American cuts, which were cut correctly to my practiced eye, and also the carne asada and other favorites as well. Also some other stores in this genre have decent prices but just let their fresh cut meat sit in the air and stuff at the top turns brown, Not here. All the cut meat is covered with saran wrap as well as being in an airtight display case. The meat looked terrific, the steak that tempted me into the store was red and fresh and Thick like American cuts should be. In fact it was more thick than many other stores, more like a Texas cut of beef than something you would see at Vons, or other high end expensive grocers. Bottom line it was delicious and cost me less than half of what some of the local stores were selling a similar cut for. Granted it was a special. But even the stuff not on special was cheaper across the board and all looked to be fresh and clean. I found my meat and veggies store. I almost hope that people don’t find this place, as it will get more crowded and expensive, but certainly this business deserves to have great reviews.

Everything is dusty and dirty and overpriced. The selection appears to be of items that are almost expired or rejected by real grocery stores.
