I talked with Mark and agreed to meet for an estimate on Sunday morning @ 10am (his preferred day/​time). Sunday morning arrives and he’s a no-​show, no call, nothing. Attempting to reach him on BOTH phone lines was a failure. I left a voicemail on BOTH lines and was very courteous. I requested a callback. As expected, Mark did not return the courtesy and dropped off the planet.
This should really be zero stars because he couldn’t even make it to the first appointment.
–1 because he did not own up to his commitment.
Plenty of good honest folks out there (Wukmir) who will work hard to earn your business.

Had some AC issues at home, called Mark in the morning and he came at 1 pm. Very prompt service. He is nice, kind, reliable, and gave honest quote. Will recommend him to friends.

I called Mark because our heater was not working and he came out within the hour. Unfortunately, we needed a special part which he ordered on the spot. As soon as it came in he was back fixing the problem which meant being here on a Sunday. The work is well done and our heater is working wonderfully! As I write this review we are torn. We have been very pleased with the HVAC system that RC Air installed, but customer service is lacking greatly. Mark is very knowledgeable and runs his business with integrity, but we are frustrated with the lack of follow up and follow through. Over a year ago he replaced our HVAC system and did an amazing job. He and his team worked in a sweltering attic and hauled away all of the old stuff. Very friendly, courteous, and the AC worked like a charm.
But, he never came back to finish the detail work he promised. After six months and several messages unanswered, we finished the work ourselves. We still owed him money and wanted to reconcile our account so a year after installation we sent an email asking for service since the system had stopped working. He made the extra effort to squeeze in a visit on a Sunday afternoon, for which we were very grateful and he had everything humming in 10 mins. He inquired about the balance due and we asked about paying only half since we finished the work, not him; to which he agreed.
There were two other issues discussed at the time of original installment that were not taken care and we brought it up asking if it was still possible to get those completed. We were assured that he would return to do the work. I believe that communication took place early August and we still have not heard a peep back. The sad thing is that we knew that as soon as he left, it would be a very long time before we heard from or saw him again.
Mark is extremely busy and tries hard to run an honest company with a reputation for integrity; which I believe he has accomplished. The issue is lack of communication and follow through until the work is completely finished and the customer is satisfied.

Mark was prompt, reliable and gave an honest quote. He got my air conditioner running in less than 10 minutes, and could have hiked his prices but was honest. Also got a small cash discount. So grateful. Thank you!

Fast, quick and easy. I highly recommend these guys. My parents AC went out last night, but RC Air saved the day. I called them this morning and they came within 2hrs of me calling them and fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes.

Mark charged $ 195 to replace the AC capacitor, and he was almost 3 hours late. His service fee is only $ 50, but he charged 8x more for the part. I found out later on that the reasonable price should be around $ 125 with part + labor. Even the service fee that other companies charge is a bit higher than Mark, but the total amount come out to be less than RC Air. I will not use Mark again, you could only rip me off once, but NEVER again!

Sitting here for two days with a house over 100 degrees and 2 children under 5 and they still have not shown up. Obviously women and small children are not a priority here.

A few weeks ago we noticed the A/​C was losing ground — it would get hotter in the house as it ran. The air was cool — not cold — and I suspected it was low on refrigerant. I checked Unilocal!and Chino Hills Connections on FB — never have I seen such universally remarkable reviews for a service provider! I called Mark and he came out on a Saturday afternoon — it had to have been close to 106… He was cheerful and immediately checked both the inside and outside units for issues. After 2 pounds of refrigerant, the old A/​C was blowing cold again! A very reasonable fee for the service call and cost of refrigerant. I would not hesitate to call RC Air again or refer Mark and Clark.

Contacted Mark after several people recommended him and I could not be more thankful. Came to my house and got my ac up and running in just under 20 minutes. Fair, reasonable and great guy. Straight forward with future expectations of the system. Couldn’t ask for more

If only I could give more than 5 stars. Mark came to my house today to fix my AC. Turns out that it wasn’t a big problem or fix. I could tell you my full story, but don’t want to bore you with it. Let’s just say that it’s SO refreshing to know that there are still good people. Sorry. Mark was GREAT! There are still great people out there with beautiful hearts. Thank you SO much Mark. You have no idea how much you coming to fix my AC means to me and my kids. *hug*

We came home in the evening to find our air had been running all day, but the house was not cool. It was not only 83 in the house (and climbing) but it was 105 outside. We further investigated, and found our fan outside was not spinning. I immediately went online to find someone and saw RC Air’s website. I liked that it was a local company that has been in business 20 years and has 24 hour emergency service. I quickly phoned as it was already 5:20 and I was worried places would be closed. A very nice gentleman named Mark picked up the phone immediately. I explained our situation and that I was pregnant and had a small dog in the house as well. He immediately offered to come from Chino and check it out within 1– 1 ½ hours, as he was currently on a job. I was thrilled with such quick service! He was not only informative and friendly but prompt as well. He even offered us a discount! He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He then stayed around for a little bit to make sure there were no other problems and that everything was working/​running smoothly. Overall he was honest, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and very reasonably priced! I definitely recommend RC Air to anyone looking for someone who not only knows how to take care of the problem, but offers some good old fashioned customer service at a great price!

We used this company to change out our entire air-​conditioning system. It was an amazing experience. They were very professional, they kept everything clean and neat, and they even threw some extra things in at no cost. And the price, unbelievable! Compared to our friends, who went with other companies, we saved at least $ 1000. He did everything that he said he would do, and then some. They were also punctual. Now, our house will be nice and cool for the hot summer to come.

I’ve used Mark for years for both our home and rental property HVAC installs and repairs. Mark is that 1 in 100 special technician/​owner that goes the extra mile and gets it done right the first time, and all at the right price. There is no one else I would want to call for installation and repairs of air conditioning units, heat pumps, water heaters, etc. He’s the best!

Called RC to fix the AC at work, left a message and requested a call back. Later the same day he called back yet one employee after the other walked into my office saying how rude the guy was!!! They just asked what is it regarding and at that they were doing their job!

Being a landlord and trying to keep tenant happy is tough especially when the AC goes out on the weekend. Trying to get someone to come out on a Saturday is like pulling teeth. Called several places and kept getting their voice mail. Then I found RC Air on Unilocal and on the first call Mark answered. He was able to come out within a couple hours. It only took less than 45 mins to fix the problem and without bothering the tenants. Price came in lower than what I was expecting. Super job! Would highly recommend RC Air to my family and friends. We rescheduled and he fixed my AC in 15 minutes! He even gave me a discount for not showing up the other day. :)

Today is Sep. 13, 2014 (Saturday) and it was skorching hot at 90 degrees heat this afternoon in my home and my AC unit needed repair. My whole family was home sweating. I called about 7 repair companies that all said that they can only come out on Monday as the soonest day possible. I was so happy when I came across Mark! He was friendly and helpful from the very begining and said he was in the City of Chino at the time I called him. He came to my home in less than 15 min!!! He repaired my AC unit and is now working beautifully better then before and he just left my home about 10 min ago. Thank you Mark!
