Jesse’s Air Systems

Not very through and had the audacity to raise his voice in front of my children. He may be good at the simple tasks, but he is not very precise or thorough in trying to figure out the problem beyond just mere tune-​ups.
I was very surprised he started raising his voice, especially with the positive reviews on Unilocal.I had to hire a more experienced and patient person, and they were able to fix the root of the problem rather than just collect a fee and not fix the problem.

My dogs chewed the ac wires (thermostat wires) and stopped working yesterday. But I don’t know any ac contractor so I Unilocal and found Jessie.
We were worried because many people say a lot of ac repair not so honest and will charge you unreasonable price because such a small job or might not even show up. Well he show up on time today and not only fixed the wires and fuse and also changed the filter for me. And the cost was very reasonable and my wife was home when Mr Jessie came. My wife was extremely happy of his service. She said he is a very professional and very nice person. Will recommend him!!!

Mr. Jessie was referred to us by a client. Our A/​C unit was super noise. Mr. Jessie came out and looked at our unit. He said that the unit was sub par and most unit like our was noisy. He checked the Freon and went his way. No sales talk whatsoever. Very happy with my first experienced.
Yesterday our A/​C was not cooling. I called Mr. Jessie immediately and set up a appointment. He came out accessed the problem. Gave estimate to replace condenser, cleaned out pipes, replaced filter and a whole lot more. I’m very pleased with his work.

I called 3 places this morning, Jessie called back, was at my house within 20 minutes. Figured out what was wrong right away, had the parts and was done within minutes! Did not cost me an arm or a leg and was done with professionalism and friendliness! I highly recommend!

Our A/​C finally stopped working after 30+ years. The next day I called Jesse to ask about an estimate. We set a time for the following day and he arrived right on time. He looked over my system and quoted a price, I accepted and we set a time for his crew the next week. The team he sent arrived early and promptly began to remove the old and install the new. From start to finish they wasted no time and our new A/​C system was up and running in less than 7 hours. They were all very professional and knowledgable. Jesse returned an hour after the work was complete, looked at the finished product and we handled the final transaction. You cannot do better than checking with Jesse’s Air System first for a quote. Because of the heat wave, I was worried that it would be impossible to find someone to come out on such short notice to take a look at our unit which had been blowing warm air. My husband called Jesse last night, and we were able to schedule an appointment the following day. Jesse and his son were both friendly, and professional. We were quoted an absolutely reasonable price and our unit was fixed on the spot. Thanks again Jesse!

Wow! After I dealt with a rude A/​C and Plumbing guy before (I rated them poorly), Jesse was a breath of fresh air. I called before noon, he said he will be here in less than two hours and he did! He showed up with a smile on his face and with his son. Both of them were friendly and helpful. He repaired my thermostat under 40 minutes and left. I now have a new hope for friendly repair men and good service. I recommend Jesse to anyone and will use his service again. Thank you so much.

Let me start out by saying if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have worked in a dental office in Chino for 5 years and that entire time dreaded summer. The air conditioner was never able to keep the front office cool. After having our air conditioner looked at many times we kept being told that it just needed service and maybe re-​routing some of our ducting. After getting a quote from a company we have used in the past we decide to get a second opinion and found Jesse on Unilocal .His fees were very reasonable so we hired him for the service. When he went up to service the unit he asked if anyone had told us that one of our compressors was not working? No Never! He fixed it and we are happy to say now have a cool front office! I would recommend Jessie for your air conditioning needs.

after much back and forth with jesse .who’s workers charged me $ 650 $ 300 of which labor for a 45 min pilot gas valve replacement job. then tried to make me out as some disgruntled customer who couldn’t afford him. i took my case to the cslb, and won my case. jesse’s air systems license # 864 645 has been found guilty for violating the business and professions code. case number #na 2 014 009 632. .
watch out for this guy. i picked him off Unilocal also.

I am thrilled that Unilocal steered us correctly again and that’s how we found Jesse. I called because our central heater downstairs stopped working. I called him Saturday night and he although he doesn’t work Sunday’s he said he would still come over and diagnose the problem. That way on Monday he would know what part to get and be able to fix our problem right away.
Sunday afternoon he comes over right on time and climbs into the attic. Within ten minutes Jesse finds the problem and being the honest man that he is informed us that we didn’t need anything and that all he needed to do was fix the hose that had gotten punctured. Since we had enough hose left to resolve the problem we didn’t have to buy a replacement part. I really appreciated his honesty and was glad that we found someone trustworthy. He even went and checked our air filters and gave us recommendations on which ones to buy at Home Depot so we don’t overpay on filters.
Problem solved and it was a great experience. Would highly recommend!

Our 20 year old air conditioner was giving us problems during an October heat wave. I found Jesse’s Air System on Unilocal and was impressed with all the great reviews. I called Jesse and he showed up on-​time that same day and installed a new motor in our unit. He didn’t pressure me to buy a whole new unit which would have been quite costly, but instead was honest and explained that the unit could last another 1 – 2 years. I really appreciated that and will definitely call Jesse when it is time to replace the unit

My AC unit had been having issues, similar to other reviewers where it wasn’t blowing cold air all the time.
Last week was extremely hot and I had it, I needed someone to check it out but I was worried about being scammed.
I found Jesse’s Air System on Unilocal with all the great reviews and high rating, I was skeptical but it’s all true. He was honest and direct, a rarity nowadays.
He got my AC unit working within a half hour.

I called and left a message during a heat wave this year and was trying to find someone to come out. The best I got was Tuesday (5 day wait). Jesse called me on my way to work and I turned around and met him in 30 minutes. My AC was fixed in less than an hour .

Jesse’s Air System is the absolute BEST! I called Jesse this morning 9÷12÷14 he answered right away and told me he was around the corner and would come out right away. He came out and checked our system out and thought it might be the wires going into our breaker and sure enough fixed the problem. He also spent time with us answering our questions about a new unit and cost and even gave us some other helpful energy saving tips! I would highly recommend Jesse’s Air Systems. They will be my go to from now on!!!

Great service. Very friendly and easy to deal with. He fixed my AC for a good price and was helpful and informative. I’ll definitely call him again the next time I have a problem, which hopefully won’t be for a long time.
Update on 2÷23÷16. We just had Jesse replace our whole AC/​heater unit and ductwork. The original installation, done by another company, was BAD. Jesse gave us a great price, brought in his crew, and did the entire job in one day. We’re incredibly pleased by the job they did. It runs SO much better now than our old unit ever did. I can’t recommend the company highly enough.

AC was blowing hot air today, so I called Jesse based on his positive Unilocal reviews and his location being local to me. He answered the call and I explained the problem. He asked me to check the AC unit to see if Edison had installed a device. Wasn’t sure what he was referring to but he told me that I would see a blinking green light if it was installed. Sure enough I went to check and there it was… flashing and preventing me from turning on the AC. I forgot I had signed up for the Edison Summer Savings program which disables your AC during certain peak times.
I appreciated his honesty and will definitely use him if the AC really does breakdown or need servicing.

Jesse came highly recommended from a friend a few years ago. My air went out late Saturday morning, and by Saturday afternoon it was fixed.
9−5−14 My AC went out on Friday. Saturday morning Jesse came right out to the rescue. Unfortunately it was 17 years old, and needed to be replaced, but he had the new one installed by Monday. I must have asked him 20 questions, and some maybe a bit silly, but he answered them all leaving me feeling very confident with the decision of buying a new one.
He has been very honest, fair, and quick to fix the issues we were having.

The Capacitor he installed died in a year. Life span shorter than the original capacitor. I even paid for the extra «Hard Start Kit», that didn’t help.
Called Jesse again for help, left a voicemail. No response. My advise look elsewhere.

My AC stopped blowing cold.
I diagnosed the compressor didn’t kick-​in as it should.
Since it was a very hot week, the kids were suffering at night with the heat so I didn’t want to try and fix it myself and prolong their agony…
Called Jessie since all the Unilocal reviews were favorable.
Sure enough, he came to the same conclusion and said the compressor did not kick in. The running capacitor was blown.
He replaced the capacitor for $ 250 and offered to install a «Hard Start kit» for another $ 200 which I agreed to.
Google what a AC Hard Start kit can do for you and how it can save money on running costs and and maybe prolong the life of your AC compressor.
He spent around 30 minutes and the total job came to $ 450. Overall he and his son were very nice and pleasant to talk to.

FYI: If you are handy person and have basic knowledgable of home electrical circuits you can buy the parts yourself and replace the running capacitor and even add the hard start kit for around less than a $ 100. There are a lot of Youtube videos on the subject.
If you are unfamiliar with electrical circuits dont even attempt this.

Called Jesse at 3pm and told him I thought my AC needed Freon. He arrived at the house at 4:30 pm and proceeded to check the AC unit. Sure enough it was 5 lbs low on Freon. He washed the AC unit and refilled it. Sure enough my AC was now pumping out nice cold air at 54 degrees instead of the 72 degrees before.
Jesse never tried to up sell me or find anything else «wrong» with my system. He just did what was needed. Freon is crazy expensive at $ 40 a pound. But I noticed he was still charging less then another AC repair guy that was reviewed on Unilocal and his service call was a very reasonable $ 65.
It was also nice to see Jesse had his son working with him and leaning the trade. Plus learning not to rip people off which is a rare thing today.
You can be sure that when my system goes out I will be giving Jesse another call.
