Everyone was kind, welcoming and professional from start to finish! Lauren at the front desk helped sort out all my insurance woes, and Kim was so kind and patient as she explained everything that was going on! I will most definitely be back! I have my new dentist!

I am terrified of the dentist! It’s been years! Had to come in due to some pain. I was able to come in the same day. Everyone was so nice and sweet! Dr explained everything to me and what I should do. Didn’t rush into any procedures. He made me feel so comfortable! I loved it! And for people like me, who hate dentist and the sound– they have a tv where u can choose a movie and ear set for you so you are comfortable and don’t hear anything! The staff makes you feel very comfortable! I am still scared of dentist, but Dr. Maher Barsoum made my fears go away a little… Definitely recommend him to everyone !

Went in for a check up. Nice people. Good service. Highly recommend the doctor. They don’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need. The reviews speak for themselves. Give them a try and you’ll agree with everyone on here.

I visited this office because it was the most highly rated dentist in the area close to me. All the doctors and staff are incredibly patient and nice. You’re full of welcomes and greetings at every visit. I’ve had terrible experience with dentists in the past so I’ve developed anxiety about visiting dentists. So much that I avoided going to the dentist in over 10 years.
I had some pain in my mouth which I had thought was a cavity so I could not delay a visit. I had a bunch of free x-​rays and consultation from Dr. Riad and a gift card from the staff for waiting longer than expected. It turned out that I urgently needed deep cleaning and a couple of wisdom teeth removed due to infection. Dr. Riad and staff made every attempt to make sure I was educated, answered all my questions and all my worries assured. Dr Riad even called me that evening to check up on me.
The deep cleaning wasn’t done by Dr. Riad and was performed by their hygienist (who I forgot the name of, sorry) I explained my fear of the numbing shots. She made sure that I was thoroughly numbed and went slowly. They made sure I was comfortable at all times while I watched The Life of Pie on the ceiling TV. I have weak jaws that began to get sore during the cleaning and the hygienist was kind enough to massage my jaw for me. Immediately after the cleaning I had my wisdom teeth removed. From what I could remember, it was pretty quick but not completely painless. I had an infection so I couldn’t really avoid all pain.
The other big procedure that I’m currently in the middle of is a dental implant. I was unlucky enough to get a cavity on the root of one of my canines. It quickly got infected and had to go. I was super anxious about the procedure because the site was already painful that Dr. Riad prescribed me some Valium. Again, he called me to see what was up and if I had any questions. The procedure was extremely painful but tolerable. I trusted that I was in good hands, though. I now wear a dental flipper while I wait for my infection to heal and my bones to grow back.
TL;DR:
This dentist is rated highly for a reason. They show patience and sincerity. I was convinced enough to go from absolutely fearing dentists to looking forward to the dentist to help fix what I should have taken better care of. They have free consultation so just check them out. Then right after, have some Popeye’s Chicken right next door.

Now I see why this place gets such high ratings. I went here with a severe tooth ache and it turns out I needed the tooth actually extracted. The service was amazing, friendliness is amazing and I had Dr. Rafik Riad and this is by far the best experience I’ve ever experienced with a dentist. He was clear, simple very generous and this place is actually very cost efficient.
Other dentists I went too were very costly and I had to make a change, this place broke down all the costs and made it simple to understand. They also provided different cost friendly ways for me to decipher what work I wanted to get done or not. It didn’t feel I was forced to select the jobs they wanted me too it was all my decision. I highly recommend this place and they absolutely back up their 5 stars. You guys just got yourself a customer for life!

This is by far the best dental experience I had in my life, it begins with Dr Riad calling me the day I scheduled my appointment just to make sure I was ok and answer any questions I had. The day of my appointment I was greeted by a beautiful smile by Vicki and I was taken inside by Erica. I loved the whole experience and I loved the spirit of this office. Dr Riad did my exam and was very professional he explained everything I need and I felt a big trust was established. I’d like to thank the whole staff for being so kind and I defiantly found my new dental office

I have been to a lot of dentists and have few good experiences to speak of. We just relocated and I found Dr Barsoum here on Unilocal.I can definitely see why he’s so highly rated. When I made my first appointment, I got a phone call from him that night welcoming me to the practice and asking if I was in any pain. Arriving to my appointment, I was instantly put at ease by the dr and his assistants. He was very warm and very thorough… Never once did I feel rushed, and they were able to basically solve an ongoing issue with one tooth in the first visit. That evening I received another phone call, again asking me about my comfort level. Not once did he try to upsell me as past dentists have done. I felt I could trust him and his staff immediately and am a very satisfied patient. I would highly recommend Dr Barsoum! He is a diamond in the rough!

As I’m recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed, I gotta say, I could’ve not chosen a better dentist to have this procedure performed by. Dr. Riad and his amazing staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Ms. Lauren was very friendly and did and outstanding job explaining all the details regarding my insurance. 5 stars is not enough for this review so here’s 5 more !! *****

My wife and I have been going to Barsoum Dentistry for a few years now. We located him through Unilocal and his great ratings. He is as good as advertised. He provides great care and consideration to his patients and works to resolve any issues you may have in the best possible manner. Office is convenient off 71 in Chino Hills and appointments are punctual and office is comfortable. Will continue going here for the foreseeable future :-)

I came in for a tooth extraction and a bridge. I was greeted by Lauren the front office treatment coordinator who was very knowledgeable. She explained my benefits thoroughly. As for Dr. Riad, the whole procedure was very pleasant and pain-​free with the help of Liz the assistant. They make you feel at ease and comfortable. The best dental office ever!

I’m subtracting stars from my original review but not because of the Doctor. I want to be clear. Dr. Barsoum is great.
My issue is with the Office Manager named Vicki for ignoring my request for copies of my x-​rays. I understand that in the competitive world of dentistry, nobody wants to share or lose patients. I get it. You have a great x-​ray machine which includes panoramic shots — cool. However, my two requests went completely ignored. If Vicki would’ve responded and told me there was a minimal charge attached to my request, I would’ve understood. Nope — she ignored me.
Vicki, if you’re reading this… I believe failure to provide patient records are an actionable offense per the Dental Board of California. Although I’m not yet that extreme, you should know better for ignoring your patients. Shame. On. You.

Hand down, the absolute best dentistry ever! I have extremely problematic teeth & have been to 10 people’s share of dentists in my lifetime. I also move around far too often but as long as I’m living in California– Dr. Barsoum and his staff will always have my loyalty. Unparalleled bedside manner, caring, professional and friendly staff and a hardworking leader. Dr. Barsoum: I am 100% sure that your staff is so outstanding because of your service standards and guidance (leading by example) but so you know, they are the perfect extensions of all that you bring to the table.
Thank you Dr. Rian, Cynthia and Kim for taking such great care of me today. I feel so… clean and pretty! haha you guys… I almost don’t want to share so I can keep you guys to myself but… I’ve decide to pay it forward!

Dr. Barsoum’s dental practice is a «Gold-​Standard» model for how ALL businesses in America should be operated. He is the Ritz-​Carlton of Dental Practices.
From the minute I walked into his office, I immediately was impressed by his Cheerful & welcoming, front desk staff, very clean & elegant office with a great décor, the comforting symbol of the Holy Cross hanging up on the wall and did I mention how pleasant his staff members were. They weren’t just putting on a front for new customers like myself, of the dozen or so phone calls that I heard them handle, while on my short wait in the lobby, it was clear that they treat ALL customers, new & or long time clients with the same cheerfulness.
Once you get past the lobby, the impressiveness of the office continues inside, there are 2 flat screens at each station, one in front of you and one on the ceiling, not to mention, THEY PROVIDE YOU A MENU OF MOVIES, it really looks like a restaurant menu !!!, from which, you select a movie of choice as well as headphones on so that you can enjoy the movie.
It’s not over, after a very professional hygienist gives you the run down of what tasks they’re specifically going to do on your visit, you go through a 360 scan of your mouth, and the X-​rays are all digital, so the radiation is minimized, (They don’t do the whole, «Bite down and pardon me while I scramble out of the room as you’re getting zapped in here routine» …they actually stay in the room, while you do your high-​tech digital scan :) …Then they have a huge monitor (not the typical micro phish against the back light, 5 feet away, behind your back kinda of x-​rays) on which you a see a close up of the x-​ray of your teeth/​gum line etc. and they go over specific areas that need attention or where they could tell you have not been flossing (which I promised to work on :))
Then, the graceful, Dr. Barsoum comes in, speaking to you as sincerely as caring father, who wants you to be as comfortable and healthy as possible, he reiterates what the hygienist stated earlier, says, your teeth are in great shape, but then kindly pleads with you to take the best care of your teeth so as keep them strong/​healthy as they are, and follow his advice (I really will floss more :)).
Finally, as a cherry on top, a few hours after your visit, the ever-​caring Dr. Barsoum, call you to ensure that there is no discomfort as a result of any work done during your visit AND GIVES YOU HIS PERSONAL CELL number, just in case there is something you want to ask him about…
So in closing, you probably can’t tell how I feel about this dental practice from this review, so maybe you should read some of the other Google & Unilocal reviews, of which, only 100% are 5-​Stars …

After not having been to the dentist for over 5 years, I went to Dr. Barsoum with what I thought was an emergency. He was so nice in sorting out the situation and fixing it that same day, my pain was gone within a few hours and he was so nice and comforting! He even called me after my procedure to make sure I was ok.
I initially went to him because he was open on a Saturday, and I continue to drive out to see him, even though I live in Los Angeles. I can’t recommend Dr. Barsoum highly enough.

I have to say this is by far the best Dentist I have ever been too! Dr. Barsoum was so kind and generous to my teenage autistic son. Ty! His dental assistant was awesome working with my son as well… I would refer this dental office to everyone…

I recently took it upon my self to find a new dentist after my previous dentist had left my mouth in pain for the past year. I selected Dr. Barsoum a office out of the other top Unilocal reviewed offices because it seemed that other people felt comfortable and trusted in Dr. Barsoum’s experience. I figured if give it a shot and see if they could fix my painful tooth.
On my first new patient appointment I was warmly greeted and took in promptly. Dr. Riad, the second dentist of the practice, who had called me in the previous week to answer any wandering questions, introduced himself and left me with the hygienist for my annual cleaning. The hygienist was very thorough and the office was very clean and efficient. Then Dr. Riad started to go to work on my teeth, always keeping in mind my comfort level and spending as much time needed to make it right. He finally finished after about 30min of fine tune adjustments and told me he would call me later to check that I felt ok after the numbing wore off. And to come back is I needed any slight adjustments.
I had a little but of persisting pain so I went back the following week, they squeezed me in without a problem and I met the esteemed Dr. Barsoum. He was such a nice man and got straight to work and was done in about 10min. He really knew his stuff, and new exactly how to fix my pain. Overall I really enjoyed the care of the two doctors and team at Barsoum dental. I don’t typically write reviews but they told me to express myself if I found the time and so here I am. I delayed a few weeks just to make sure my pain was gone before writing an unbiased review.
What set this office apart from any other dental office I have ever been to was there thorough attitude interns of patient communication. I spoke with Dr. Riad 3 times total on the phone so that he could answer any questions and check how I felt after the end of the day that he did work on me. That was very comforting in that I knew that they honor their work here and are more than willing to go out of their way to help you achieve the set of teeth you strive for.
Id like to thank each and every staff member that approached me with a smile and happy to be of service, that is something that is not common practice unfortunately nowadays. I will definitely be back every 6 months for my checkups!
Oh did I mention I got an awesome dental goodie bag!

Dr. Barsoum is the BEST! He is a great dentist. On top of that, he is kind and caring. His office is very well run. No long waits! Everyone there is nice. I highly recommend Dr. Barsoum.

I was shopping around for a new dentist because I was new to the area. That’s never a fun process, but of course I looked to Unilocal to help me make a decision. I have to admit I was a little reluctant of what to expect during my first visit. After all, going to the dentist isn’t the easiest thing sometimes.
Right away I was impressed by the look of their office (modern and clean). I was welcomed by friendly staff members at the front desk. The dental assistants and hygienist were the nicest!!! That helps a lot when going to the dentist. The rooms were equipped with TVs in the ceiling for entertainment during cleanings and procedures. The dental equipment used were up-​to-​date and not old fashioned like some dental offices I’ve been to. The staff also made sure I was comfortable, because I was pregnant at the time. They did the double-​lead draping for x-​rays to protect my baby. During the visit, he explained everything regarding proper dental care. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I’ll definitely be taking my family here for routine visits.

Sooo I haven’t been to the dentist in about 5 years. I hate the dentists offices because they always try to sell me on cosmetic stuff for my teeth (I have scarring on my teeth) which is just annoying.
I found this dentist off of Unilocal and decided to go. Kimberly was the hygienist that was with me during the whole time I was there. She’s a really sweet lady that answers any and all questions and makes sure that you are comfortable.
I was seen by a dentist (I am not sure of his name) and he was nice but was kind of standoffish. …not enough to bother me. I will be back in about 6 months for my next cleaning. Kimberly and the ladies at the front desk impressed me enough to return. After all of the dentists I have had in the past 15 years, this dentist office has been my favorite. Give it a shot!
