We are your Sous Chef, we will make sure your event is a tremendous success no matter the size. This is our passion and we love it.

History

Established in 2015.

This business was started because I was sick of not seeing how my guest enjoyed their food. I want to work closer and feel closer to everyone I serve, I want to be able to get first hand feed back. I am a Chef because I LOVE IT and I want to share that passion. I believe in using seasonal and locally sourced items by responsible farmers is very important to my clients, the local economy and our environment.

Born and raised in Southern California, After High school I was unsure of what to do but knew I didn’t want to sit still. I joined the United States Air force to travel, grow up and decide what my future would be. I have always loved to cook for, interact and entertain people, when I left the USAF I went to California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, CA. I have been cooking for the last 10 years in restaurants in Las Vegas, England and Los Angeles and I want to share my experiences and culinary expertise with as many people as I can. I am a wear my Heart on my sleeve, jump in feet first and never give up kind of person. I will strive to ensure your perfect event is met.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Our grown-​up family has had a big night out at a nice restaurant annually for the past several years, but this year a brand new baby changed our plans to a dinner party for ten people at home. Daniel catered a wonderful five-​course formal dinner for us. We had an appetizer, soup, entrée, salad, and FLAMING dessert as individually served courses. Everything was wonderful. He stopped by a week early to check out the kitchen and finalize our plans. He showed up for the dinner party in plenty of time and made each separately plated course look amazing. While WE relaxed over coffee in the living room, Daniel and his assistant finished washing all my old china and crystal so our cleanup afterwards was minimal. And the cost was about what we’d have paid for food at an upscale restaurant. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening. I would recommend Daniel anytime.
And don’t be intimidated by some pictures of him working in more elegant kitchens. My kitchen is a standard 80’s tract home kitchen and Daniel made it work.

Amazing! We love Daniel! I looked around for the perfect chef to prepare a meal for my parents anniversary! I found Daniel on Unilocal.
Listen…he is amazing! I wish I can keep him all to myself. The food was OUTSTANDING! I was so worried because I tried another caterer in the past and was disappointed, but I really wanted to have a very special evening and wanted to host a sit down in my home… so I took a chance and I am so glad I did. Why Daniel doesn’t have more reviews is BEYOND me! I was the most relaxed and was blown away by his food and service. Everyone was happy! I finally was able to enjoy a dinner that I was hosting! And a clean kitchen at the end!

Chef Daniel came to our home for a private event as a celebration for my birthday. Let’s just say that we spent most of the time convincing him to move in and not leave. He came and brought all the necessary tools, equipment and supplies to create a masterful 3 course meal specially designed for our palates.
I posted a picture of all he meals and also pictures speak a thousand words in this case it really does not do the meal justice. Every ingredient in our meals were thoughtfully picked out, and presented beautifully. As Chef Daniel created the meals he also explained the reasoning for each component.
He made our night just magical and the most shocking part was that he cleaned up after himself at the end leaving out kitchen exactly the way it was before he started cooking.
Having Chef Daniel in our home cooking an amazing 3 course meal exclusively for us was a memorable treat that we will never forget. I recommend Chef Daniel to anyone looking to hire a private chef for event. Trust me, you will not regret it.

This review is for a private dinner with Sue chef Daniel. Daniel came to our house equipped to cook away. I was amazed by his attention to detail and cleanliness from beginning to end as he prepared a three course meal for us. He’s very personable, friendly and really into the food he makes. It shows that he truly cares about the quality of what he puts in front of his customers. The Appetizer he prepared for us was Hamachi Poke, made to perfection with the sauce that he created it went perfectly with the crackers and spices in the dish. The second issue was surf and turf with flat iron steak made medium rare and lobster over a bed of fresh vegetables carrots and his unique version of mashed potatoes. He summed it all up perfectly with lava cake over vanilla custard and desiccated berries. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were very impressed with everything he had to offer and will definitely be seeing him again

Chef Dan is worth every dollar! This was my first time hiring a private chef and the experience was exceptional. I threw a surprised birthday dinner for my husband at our home. Chef Dan prepared a 3 course meal for 23 guests. Every plate he brought out was delicious, to say the least. We were all loud and having a good time, but when the food came out it was silent. Which meant the food was too good to talk. My guests kept thanking me for the experience. My husband’s party would not have been a success without Chef Dan and his sous chefs. He is very professional, affordable, kind, flexible, and talented.

Great service and even better food. Had chef Daniel over to my grandmothers house where he prepared some healthy and easy to prepare meals that could be frozen and taken out as needed for her convenience. The food was delicious and we will definitely hire him again in the future.

My wife and I had chef Daniel out to cook for a small gathering of friends and family. The gathering included many small children and we asked Daniel to prepare an Italian dish of his choosing. The dish he selected was a oven roasted chicken with mini eggplants and cherry tomatoes, and a homemade pasta with pesto sauce. The meal was excellent! He was on time and well-​dressed, and also provided appetizers while he prepared the main meal. During the meal preparation he provided engaging conversation detailing what he was doing, and also provided engaging discussion about other topics. Some children may be picky eaters, they will find Chef Daniels wit and humor comforting as he told the younger eaters that they were eating Hulk pasta. The meal was cooked extremely well, no part of the chicken was dry and the pasta which was comprised of flaxseed and organic flour base made for an excellent healthy and gluten-​free option. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a fun, affordable, and delicious meal for a large or small party.
