Pacific Fish Grill

The Ahi Poke Sliders were very good!! i wanted fish and chips but I don’t care for Swai or Pollock. I’ll try something else next time.

I am not a fan of fish so I can’t comment on it but my dad and cousin say they love the salmon with the garlic butter sauce. I love pacific fish grill for their chicken tacos… I know weird. Everything is made fresh to order right in front of you on their grill and they bring your order to your table. They have many sides to choose from: veggies, rice, salad, and some other options. The rice with the garlic butter over it is so so so delicious, probably not the healthiest but totally worth it. The chicken tacos have grilled onion, tomato, cilantro, chicken (obviously) and this yummy sauce that they add. It is always packed here which should tell you a lot about how good the food is. The staff is always friendly and the service is fast. Even when you order to go you get your food rather quickly. I also always see the same owner or manager there every time I visit here and he is really friendly and all about excellent service! Definitely a place worth stopping by!

It comes down to how the chefs are in the kitchen I’ve been to numerous pacific fish grills and have had different experience at all of them. Some places cook there food better than others. Overall good food nothing spectacular.

Great food, the place overall was very clean. Employees very attentive at making sure tables are clean.
Ordered a Cajun salmon plate with double veggies. Can’t complain the fish was well cooked and seasoned.
I would come here again anytime.

Great food, just wish it wasn’t so pricey. Restaurant prices with out the restaurant service or portions.

Just went here for Taco Tuesday and it was pretty good!
Pros:
-$ 1 crispy fish tacos! (they also have $ 2 taco deals for other fish and meats)
–they had a variety of sauces (2 types of tartar sauce, salsa, cocktail sauce, etc.)
–got my fish tacos fast
–great service!
–line went by quickly
Cons:
–the tortillas were a little dry for me
Overall it was a great experience! I will definitely be coming back here again for some more Taco Tuesday!

I’m so happy I found this place. I’m even more excited that we’re getting one even closer to my house in Eastvale.
The Cajun Salmon was SO good. I added even a little more spice by adding the spicy tarter sauce. You get two sides with your plate– I got rice and FF’s but you also get pita bread.
We ordered two shrimp tacos on the side. When our food was brought out we noticed we only received one taco so I mentioned I think they may have forgotten one. I figured I’d better check my receipt. Well, she only charged me for one. My husband went to let the guy know we only paid for one and we were fine with just that one. They brought us out a second one any ways at no cost. So not only is the food delicious, but customer service is on spot.

Service is very attentive, even though I came in 15 minutes before closing. I ordered a lot of food to go; they also have happy hour specials all day Monday!
Salmon Taco $ 2: Pretty good taco on a corn tortilla, only drawback was that the taco was over watery, most likely too most liquid in the salsa.
Fried Calamari $ 6: overcooked, rubbery, dark colored. Pretty bad.
Fried zucchini $ 3: good, can’t complain
Steak skewer $ 3: good, but not excellent, not really worth the cost
Crab Cake appetizer $ 5: awesome tasting, not overcooked, and stuck together well. Only drawback is that they put it directly on the styrofoam to-​go box after (instead of putting it on a paper tray lining the styrofoam) and it imprinted a massive engraving on the box. I think I was eating cancer.
Fries $ 2: can’t complain

Super similar to california fish grill in Irvine and probably any other restaurant with the name «fish grill» in it. I’ve only had the tacos here and I guess the fries lol so this review is solely based on that. The tacos are pretty good here, only thing I don’t really like is that the tortilla is pretty thick but I mean I guess a good thing about that is that it doesn’t fall apart as easily. Their taco tuesday deal is great, a dollar for crispy fish taco and I think two for everything else so expect a line. They have indoor and outdoor seating but I’ve experienced times where there haven’t been tables left at all so be prepared! The meat they use is fresh and meshes well with the flavors of everything else they use. I recommend the salmon and the steak! Their spicy tartar sauce is my life, tastes amazing with everything. I really like this place!

I love coming here to PFG! Especially on taco tuesdays! I love ordering the crispy fish tacos which are only 99 cents (Tuesday only). Service is great! I love being greeted when I walk in. I feel so welcomed when I walk in and order. Super friendly staff! I give them 5 out of 5 stars based upon service! Staff is always walking around to see if you need anything and that’s always a plus. My favorite food to order here is Clam chowder bowl, appetizer combo, and the grilled mahi mahi grilled with garlic butter seasoning with a side of coleslaw, and hummus. I LOVE THE HUMMUS! Its sooo delish! Especially when you have the soft pita bread. THE BEST! The quality of the food is definitely 5 out of 5 stars. I love how fresh the coleslaw is. Super crunchy and crisp just the way I like it. Every time I order a grilled fish plate whether it be mahi mahi, tilapia, or halibut, it tastes soooo fresh. On the days where happy hour is available, I love ordering a crispy cod sandwich, and a mediterranean salad during happy hour.
I also keep coming back because of how clean it is. Bathroom is always clean. I really hate using public restrooms, but I don’t mind using it here being that it’s always clean. Staff is always keeping the tables clean, and getting the tables ready for the next customers. Cleanliness is very important to me and is a major concern for me when I dine out. Also, 5 out of 5 stars. They also have seating outside which is cool. I love coming here to PFG. Love the food, service, and just the whole experience! THANKS PFG for serving me fresh and tasty food and keeping me full, happy, and satisfied! =)

Updated review. Turns out a piece of fish bone. No worries the manager was super cool about it. Accidents happen.
The food here is above average but taco tuesday is where it’s at. Their steak tacos are the best no questions. The fish tacos are a bit generic for me. Also keep an eye out on their happy hour pretty darn good too

Not a good experience with the food ! We came to try the Monday all day happy hour, got here a bit after they opened, there are already a few tables of people, the style of the restaurant down to the menu are all like California Fish Grill which I frequented in O.C., however Pacific Fish Grill does not hold the candle to California Fish Grill at all (at least for this location) the taste and the quality of the food is sub-​par, can I say it was not good at all.
The girl at the counter that helped me order was friendly and the manager was also very helpful, he offered me to try out the salad dressing when I inquired about the Asian salad they offered on the H.H. menu.
Here is what we ordered:
1. Fried calamari — ²⁄₅ I am sure these are processed squid, they are all of the same size and shape, and tastes unlike squid, also was over fried, the waitress didn’t even bring any sauce, and I had to ask for the ranch sauce.
2. Fried zucchini ½ order — ²⁄₅ this is just meh, how bad can you mess up breaded fried vegetable? Well this was not as good as some of the fried zucchini I’ve tasted else where, the strips were too thin, so all you could taste was just the breading.
3. Fried fish taco — ²⁄₅ the corn tortilla was lightly fried so it’s a bit greasy, not sure why they do it this way, but I sure don’t like it, the fish is breaded and fried, it has a very bland taste, that just tells me that it’s been frozen for too long, not fresh at all.
4. Grilled fish taco (Swai) — ²⁄₅ same treatment on the tortilla, which was fried, and the grilled fish tasted bland. I took a bit and just left it.
5. Asian salad– ²⁄₅ not impressive at all, again there is a stale taste I think it’s from the crispy strips they put on the salad, just tasted like its been fried and sat there for too long, it just made the salad tasted stale. And that is BAD for salad.
6. French fries — ³⁄₅ this is the only item that had scored above 2, should I say more ?
I didn’t try the regular menu, but I don’t really think I will, from the HH menu I already will not be a return customer. If I ever want to have something similar I am definitely heading down to O.C.

Pacific fish grill used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to but now it’s gone down to being just a-​ok for me. The plates are still good but I think their pita bread appetizer is a rip off unless you go during happy hour. Also, I do NOT recommend getting grilled veggies as a side order with your plates. They barely give you anything and you have to luck out with getting the good veggies. Last time I was stuck with a bunch of grilled onions and one grilled carrot. Really? How annoying. I was really upset that day too because they got my order wrong over the phone so when I got there they had already made all of the food and I was in a hurry so I just took it for what it was. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences here when getting my orders to go so if you do eat here I recommend eating down so you can make sure you actually get what you want. I’m a little disappointed too because they used to sell these amazing cookies at the front register a while ago but they stopped doing that for some reason.
I still give this place three stars though because I do love their salmon plate with lemon oregano seasoning and their pita bread and hummus. Their fish burritos aren’t that great but I love their sweet potato fries. They come with a marshmallow cream sauce which is the best! The pricing for the plates aren’t too bad either, they’re about $ 10. They don’t offer a discount anymore for checking in on Facebook or Unilocal but oh well. I’d come here every once in a while, nothing special like before.

Cheap, but, well… cheap. Seared Ahi for $ 13? Sure, I knew it wasn’t sushi grade, but Cajun seasoned? Why not? I almost went next door to the waffle sandwich joint, but since it was 106 degrees outside I figured seafood would sit lighter in my guts.
Sure enough, the menu board offered some nice choices: salmon (how ordinary), Red Snapper (daily special), Mahi Mahi (now you’re talking), and the aforementioned seared Ahi. I tried the grilled zucchini for one of the two sides, and mash potatoes. Pita bread rounded out the plate.
The spicy Cajun mix lent itself well to the Ahi, and the inherent sweetness of the zucchini made it a natural pairing. The pita was okay, as were the potatoes. Nevertheless, I didn’t feel weighed down as I finished my business in the area afterwards.
Not a bad place overall, just not a superb place.

I like their grilled basa with garlic butter sauce! My mom came home raving about this delicious grilled fish she got in Chino Hills. So she finally took me and I completely agree with her! The grilled fish plate comes with 4 slices of warm grilled pita bread, rice, and salade.
However, when they don’t cook the rice throughly it tastes pretty bad, hopefully it won’t happen when I go next time.
However, they did over grilled my fish once, which ended up tasting very dry and gross. When they do cook it right the fish is tender and flavorful. This is one of my regular spots to eat :]

I’ve been here twice in the past month. It’s a decent place for a quick bite. We ordered the lemon pepper swai with hummus and grilled vegetables and a salmon burrito. The salmon burrito wasn’t bad and was reminiscent of Rubios which isn’t necessarily bad but not great either. The swai was really light and pretty tasty but a small portion leaving my lunch companion still hungry after his lunch. The hummus is sooooooo good!!! The grilled vegetables were kind of oily and limp.
The second visit we ordered online for pick up. I ordered a Chinese salad with grilled salmon and he ordered mahi mahi with hummus and grilled zucchini. I specified no dressing on my salad so they decided to leave out the cabbage and carrots as well. My salad was basically just romaine lettuce, mandarin oranges and salmon. They put the salmon in the salad container which wilted the lettuce. The mahi mahi was chewy, the hummus was awesome as usually but there were only two thin slices of grilled zucchini.
I’m probably going to try fish o licious next time I’m in the mood for fish because this place is rather disappointing.

Happy hour all day on Monday!
I got a plate of grilled mahi mahi with mash potato, hummus, and pita bread ($ 13), and a bowl of clam chowder ($ 4).
I just came back from my Seattle trip, and my standard for clam chowder went up exponentially lol. Clam chowder wasn’t too impressive.
My plate was tasty though! With and without all the sauces I had, it was good. Don’t forget to drip some lemon juices on your fish!

I’ve been here a few times before and my experience has always been positive.
Today I came for taco Tuesday which means that all the tacos are $ 2 and the crispy fish taco is $ 0.99. I got two crispy fish tacos and it was really good. You can also get different sauces to go along with it. The plates are very good as well but are obviously pricier than the tacos. It comes with a lot more too so it’s a good option if you’re really hungry. The atmosphere is nothing special but it just shows that what really draws people in is the food.
It is also around a shopping center with a lot of different stores.

I really enjoy coming to this location. I love getting their cheap tacos on Tuesday but my favorite thing to get It’s the Tilapia with rice and hummus wit garlic butter. That sauce with that fish is so tasty! So far I have not had a bad service experience! Will definitely keep coming back!
