Caring for and teaching preschool children ages 2yrs to 5yrs and after school children 6yrs to 12yrs.

We want your child’s experience at Smart Start Preschool to leave them with social awareness, a positive self-​esteem, and an academic foundation from which to build upon.

History

Established in 2006.

Smart Start Preschool was the vision of Julie Thomas, Owner/​Director. Born and raised in Chico, Julie is a credentialed elementary teacher who wanted to bring a high quality preschool to her home town.

Manager

Ann is our Administrator and oversees the everyday operations of the preschool. Being a qualified preschool teacher and Director, she is able to enjoy time in the classrooms in addition to running our office.
