I can’t say enough about Dusty and Amy! From the first time we met with them via Skype, we knew they were the right choice to capture our wedding day. They were professional at all points of the process but still SO much fun. On top of all of that, the photos they got for our engagement shoot and wedding are all amazing. Everyone that’s seen them have told us they’re the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen.
For our engagement photos, we were both nervous about how they would turn out, but they made the entire shoot so easy. They absolutely know what they’re doing and when we got our photos back, they were beyond anything we could have imagined. Once we saw our engagement photos, we couldn’t wait to have them photograph our wedding!
Come the wedding day, they were on time, so much fun, and they knew the names of our family members, wedding party, and everyone else involved! They captured the entire day in the most amazing way. They captured emotions, reactions, and moments of not just my husband and myself, but our guests as well.
At the reception, they were phenomenal. They had shots already planned when we met with them for more photos before cocktail hour and everything went smoothly and quickly. They coordinated with our on-​site coordinator, the DJ, and my cousin that emceed the reception. They had a ton of fun with the guests, and everyone commented on how much they loved our photographers. Not only were they busy snapping away all night, they made sure everything went smoothly as planned.
My husband said a few days before we received our wedding photos that the wedding wasn’t as clear in his memory anymore now that a couple of weeks had passed. As soon as we got our photos, he re-​lived it all over again, including some moments that we had no clue were even happening but Amy and Dusty caught them!
We’ve recommended them to everyone we know and will continue to do so. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made, and we would hire them again if we had a chance.

Two of my friends had used Drozian Photoworks for their wedding photography, and after seeing their photos come back, I completely fell in love with their work. As a guest at one of those weddings, I had also been very impressed that Amy and Dusty were able to get some of the shots that they did while remaining in the background and not attracting attention to themselves. Both of my friends had spoken very highly of this photography duo, so even before my husband and I chose our wedding date, we contacted Drozian to see which dates THEY had available.
The first time we met Amy and Dusty was at our engagement shoot, and I was incredibly nervous because I don’t feel like I take great pictures. However, they made us laugh and feel at ease, and I loved the photos we got back. We didn’t look overly posed, and the candid shots were amazing (half of the pictures I didn’t even know they had taken!).
Then it came to our wedding day, and I was so glad that we hired them. They were incredibly helpful, and I was impressed with how much effort they put in BEFORE the wedding to make sure that our big day ran smoothly and efficiently. They took the time to understand the various family relationships/​dynamics, and they knew exactly who was supposed to be in each picture and when, so our cocktail/​photo hour really only lasted an hour (not running way behind like other weddings I’ve been to).
We got married in November 2015, and our photos were ready in December 2015. Again, I was so happy with the quality and quantity of the photos taken, and I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to get them edited. We got our physical wedding album this week (2÷18÷15), and it is gorgeous.
Some final thoughts… aside from their beautiful work and experience with wedding photography, I was/​am incredibly thankful that they were always quick to get back to us anytime we had questions or needed to talk about wedding details. They made me feel like they really love their work, and that they were happy to work with us. Overall our experience was amazing, and I will definitely be using them for maternity/​family pictures — whenever that time comes.

I cannot sing the praises of Dusty and Amy enough. Working with these two was an absolute treat from start to finish and I can’t wait to work with them again. They are so real it was like hanging with long time friends the whole time. From planning shoots, discussing packages, and getting in front of the camera they make the whole process fun and enjoyable. Amy has a fanatic eye for detail and pose and Dusty just knows how to get people to relax.
The day of the wedding they were attentive to more than just capturing the happenings of the day. They both made sure that we had food and drink when needed, continuously asking if were were ok and if we wanted any certain photos. They captured moments from across the room and worked with everyone on the staff wonderfully. The photos we received from after the shoots are works of art. They capture people, landscape and moments in breathtaking ways.
These two are who you want on your team when it comes to your wedding. Or any event for that matter.

Dusty and Amy were simply UH MAY ZING!!! After our ceremony the four of us took off to a couple locations that were down a service road. We found ourselves off roading to get to the locations my wife wanted to take photos. During our drive and short hike to get to our location my wife and I realized how truly special Dusty and Amy are and how lucky we were to have them to capture our special day. All of our photos turned out awesome and we can’t wait to get prints and have them framed and hung in our home. Usually when you book a photographer you expect them to come to your event and take great photos and that’s all. These two went above and beyond what we expected. When we returned from our photos to the reception Dusty and Amy were busy bustling my wifes dress getting her ready to make her entrance while we waited for the wedding party to gather. Yes they were bustling her dress!!! Amy helped my wife through the buffet line and Dusty was taking drinks from her hands to place at our seats while my wife was chatting with guests on her way back to her seat. Dusty and Amy definitely made our special day even more special. We would recommend them highly to anyone that needs any event photography. Thank you Dusty and Amy!!! You two are amazing people and are going to make great parents!!!

Dusty and Amy were the photographers at my sisters wedding last weekend. They were amazing, went above and beyond their duties as a photographers. They constantly were checking with the bridal party and bride to see if they needed anything and provided anything and everything we wanted. Can’t wait to see the pictures

Anyways here is experience with dusty and amy, when I was looking for a photographer for my wedding I had about 6 months to plan everything. We are a young couple with a small budget for our wedding. So searching for photographers it can be discouraging because, you can find photographers that are extremely expensive and or affordable, but you can totally tell with the quality of the work. Once I found Drozian Photoworks, I was determined to make my budget work just so I could have them as my photographers. There is something about this couple that they just take a portion of your worry away from the whole planning process. Before the wedding, they were just super nice, quick to respond to all my emails and answering my questions. I knew I was in good hands.
I honestly wish I could point out something I didn’t like about them, but they honestly exceeded my expectation. Dusty carried around Bobby pins already on hand in case my hair came undone. But the one thing that shocked me was during reception, Dusty came to our table constantly to check on us, if we needed something to drink, eat, or anything at all. It was the kindest gesture and not something I expected at all.
I just can’t explain it. THEY WERE ON TOP OF EVERYTHING! THEY ARE A AWESOME COUPLE! MY WEDDING WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETE WITHOUT THEM.

If I could give a million stars, I would! Dusty and Amy (and Austin — shout out!) are beyond amazing. They are truly the best at what they do. Not only are their pictures insanely gorgeous, they are the nicest and most personable vendors I hired for our recent wedding. Dusty was there for my every need, and so attentive. He made my day run so smoothly and made it stress-​free. I will definitely be hiring them for any photo needs I have in the future!

I don’t care what your need is for a photographer, but you HAVE To hire Dusty and Amy! I don’t even know where to start when discussing how fantastic my experience was with them. I knew I wanted to hire them from the very minute I saw their website, but meeting them sealed the deal! They were so easy to talk to, and really were interested in how my husband and I wanted to be photographed. We don’t take ourselves very seriously as a couple, and Amy and Dusty took that to heart. Communication was always fantastic with them, which is a huge deal to me. They included engagement photos in the wedding package I purchased so my husband and I could get used to having our pictures taken with them. It was so helpful, and the pictures we got out of it were incredible! I just love how they are so incredibly artistic with their photos. It’s about the couple, but also the beautiful landscape or surroundings. My husband actually said «That wasn’t so bad» when we were done with the engagement session… let me tell you… that was a HUGE compliment coming from him. He HATES having his picture taken, but he really had a good time with Dusty and Amy. The wedding was a whole new experience altogether. From the minute they showed up that morning, Amy and Dusty were wildly helpful! Not only did I hire two magnificent photographers, but I also got some incredible helpers. They felt more like coordinators. Always asking how I was doing, if the girls and I needed anything. This even traveled into the reception. Guests were coming up to me during the wedding, and are still telling me how incredibly impressed they were with Dusty and Amy. I was also so thankful that they managed to take pictures of almost everyone at the wedding. They went around to all the tables, it was fantastic. Oh and the pictures… wow they are amazing. I’m so thankful for them. My wedding went off without a hitch, and I know it’s because I hired incredible people… two of the best were Amy and Dusty!!!

The most amazing photographers ever. These are the kind of people you dream of having on your special day. They not only take amazing pictures, they make every effort possible to make it the best day of your life, including getting you water, BBQ sauce, drinks, bustling your dress (the list is never-​ending.) They were even catching mistakes of other vendors before they became a problem. I could go on forever about how good these people are at their jobs. I want them to be my photographers for life.

Amy, Dusty and their second shooter (I’m so bad with names) were some of the MOST FRIENDLY wedding vendors we have ever worked with! We just worked a wedding with them this past weekend at Evergreen Lodge in Yosemite-​they were friendly, funny and professional! I’m an owner of a small bridal beauty business and weddings are what we specialize in, so we meet tons of photographers every weekend. One of the first things out of our mouths when leaving was, «Wow! I hope we get to work with them again in the future!». And their work speaks for itself-​its absolutely stunning!

We first met them in July for our engagement photo shoot. They were super flexible, drove 5 hours from home to shoot for us in Tahoe. As awkward as posing for professional photos can be, they made it so easy. The pictures turned out awesome and we were very happy.
They also were at our wedding. On top of making me feel comfortable, learning all the names of the bridal party, refreshing our drinks at the reception, and keeping everything on track… The photos came back OUTSTANDING.

We went through over 30 photographers looking at websites and comparing prices. We ended up choosing Drozian Photoworks because the quality of the photos on the website were amazing, and we wanted the highest quality photos possible for our wedding.
Dusty and Amy are very wonderful to work with! They are extremely nice and personable. They make taking photos very fun. We had a great time at the engagement photo session as well as the wedding day. They asked a lot of questions to see what we preferred for photos. We also gave them feedback as well as to what we wanted for the wedding.
On the wedding day they were with us the entire time. Whenever we asked them to take a photo they always did so with a smile.
When we got the photos we loved the quality! They were very well done with lots of different angles and various special moments captured.
Also, they were very prompt to reply to all our e-​mails. They definitely responded back within a 24 – 48 hour time period, which unfortunately doesn’t happen with every professional photographer.
Overall, we highly recommend them!!!

Dusty and Amy of Drozian are amazing photographers! They have incredible working chemistry (they are husband and wife) and it really shows through in their photographs and the way they are able to keep the couples they work with laughing and at ease.
We had our engagement session in SF with them, and love the beautiful photos of us in the city we love. It was a perfect way to get to know them, and to establish our photography relationship that helped make the wedding that much better.
For our wedding, Dusty and Amy kept me grounded and fed (a hungry bride is an angry bride and Dusty knew how to keep the monster at bay! hahaha), and captured beautiful romantic images from our amazing day. They also got some hilarious photos of my husband, that make me laugh when I see them. They couldn’t be more perfect!

We’re convinced they’re the best ! Amy & Dusty shot our engagement and destination wedding photos. We were referred to them by our friends and it was the best decision we made. Hands down favorite vendor. From the beginning of the planning process to the end they were so easy and fun to work with. They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, are always quick to get back to you and are the glue that holds everything together.
We hired a wedding coordinator but on the day of our wedding I can honestly say they outdid our coordinator. They had a way of always putting me at ease and letting me enjoy the day and not fuss with the details. They arrived at our hotel at 9 am to begin shooting us girls getting ready. We had to take a limo to our wedding venue and it was close to lunchtime. Dusty and Amy offered to grab lunch for the entire bridal party while we continued to get ready at the venue, and they did. They always made it a point to check in and see if there was anything at all that I needed as the ceremony got closer. Then came picture time. AHMAZING shots. They also did a great job at directing everyone so that the family and friend shots moved quickly. After the ceremony they continued to check in with the both of us making sure we were never without a drink or food in hand. We were so impressed to have felt so taken care of by our photographers. They’re beyond good at what they do and will make your wedding day exceptional. BOOK THEM!!!

Amy and Dusty are amazing! They did a boudoir photo shoot for me, which I am going to use as a gift to give to my husband on our wedding day. Although I did not hire them for our wedding, I wish I knew about them sooner so I could have! They are so fun and very professional. The quality of the pictures I received were spectacular and the best part was that it only took about 2 and a half weeks for me to get my pictures! Their team made me feel so beautiful and special, and I would highly recommend taking advantage of this service they offer. I will be hopefully booking a photo shoot with them after the wedding to get all those shots we did not have time for on the day of our wedding! Thanks Amy and Dusty!

I can’t recommend this team enough! I had a boudoir session with Amy, Dusty and Elisa and it was awesome. I wanted to give the pictures to my husband on the morning of our wedding and even though the appointment was last minute (and only a couple weeks before the wedding), Amy and Dusty were very quick to respond, willing to schedule a last-​minute shoot and finished the pictures and a photo album before the wedding. The album they made was great and they even wrapped it in a nice box that I was able to give straight to my husband as is.
I had never done anything like this before and was very nervous but they made me feel very comfortable the entire time. Elisa worked her magic with hair and makeup and Amy knew the exact best poses and lighting setups that would create the most gorgeous pictures. I had a blast, the pictures turned out incredible and my husband LOVED the gift! I can’t wait to work with them again in the future.

Dusty and Amy did a fantastic job shooting photography for both our engagement photo shot and for our wedding day. They are easy-​going, professional, personable, and genuine — which made working with them a smooth and fun experience for both us and our wedding party/​guests.

Can’t believe I don’t already have a review on here! Amy and Dusty photographed my wedding last August 2012. They also photographed two of my friends weddings! Getting your picture taken can be awkward, especially if it’s your engagement shots taken my Lake Merritt in front of people walking by. BUT it wasn’t awkward and was actually fun and we loved how our photos turned out. Amy and Dusty are good people, talented, and professional/​reliable. Hire them! You won’t be disappointed. :)

Professionalism:
Amy and Dusty were great to work with. They responded to all communications in a timely manner, were always on time, and always willing to work with us on making appointments. For photographers who travel a lot, they are incredibly flexible. They were always up front about what we were going to get, and have a lot of services to offer for those who want everything. They were always very professional in their conduct and appearance. They were also willing to work with us on a payment schedule that allowed us to get everything we wanted.

We booked them for our July wedding, and as part of our package we also got an engagement session. Working with them for both photo sessions was a pleasure from start to finish. They are both very pleasant and very skilled. Dusty is incredibly personable and kept us comfortable and talking the entire time. Meanwhile, Amy is doing whatever she has to to get the shot, including tramping up hillsides. They work very well as a team and because of this, we received some amazing photos. During our wedding, they caught some awesome moments. It is definitely worth it to have two photographers present, and they were there from beginning to end. I was dreading the group photos because they always seem to take forever, but Dusty knew everyone in the wedding party by name, worked from the list of photos I gave him (it was a LONG list), and got everyone in an out within about 30 minutes. I believe they also got pretty much every picture I requested. During the reception they took so many great shots of our family and friends, while also staying festive and part of the party. We just got to look at all 500 photos they took (though the actual number was probably higher), and they were all fantastic. I don’t normally consider myself to be photogenic, but they made me feel beautiful. I also love their style of photography. They keep a slightly romantic, artsy feel, but they aren’t over the top, so the pictures come out soft and pretty.
If you can afford to spend a little extra for some great photography, Amy and Dusty are worth every penny. These pictures are something I will cherish forever and never have any regrets about. I look forward to working with them in the future.
