Chico Chai is a local artisan chai, brewed slowly from freshly ground organic spices and fair trade organic tea. It has a unique flavor, a lovely balance of spicy and sweet.

Our Chai Kitchen is not open to the public, except for our Tasting Room, on the first Sunday of every month, from 10am-​2pm. Come sample all of our chai blends and refill your containers with our bulk loose leaf teas or Strong Brew.

History

Established in 2004.

Chico Chai began in the spring of 2004, when Brewmistress Sarah Adams saw a need for fresh-​brewed chai in her hometown of Chico. It quickly became a local favorite and is now sold at many local cafes, grocery stores and gift shops in and around Chico. Sarah makes all the chai herself, grinding whole spices fresh and brewing the chai slowly by hand in small batches.
