I have a new mouth! I am 70 and my natural teeth, bridge, and partial were all in disrepair. My «natural» bite had been altered over the years by piecemeal work and wear and tear. Oh, yes, there was that unattractive shade of yellow also.
Last Fall I pursued the Unilocal ratings of dental practices (as I am also a dental wimp with very high anxiety). After reading many ratings, I settled on Water Tower Dental Care. This was an excellent choice.
The practice is small with two dentists and several hygienists and other specialized people (X-​rays, pictures, impressions, etc.). They have all the new equipment plus stuff to make the whole experience easier on the patient. There are TVs on the ceiling (your choice of shows) or maybe just your favorite music thru the high quality headphones. Yes, this actually helps!
Besides the hi tech equipment, equally important is the persuasive attitude of consideration for the patient’s comfort. This was apparent is all aspects of treatment: applying lip moisturizer so necessary stretching is comfortable, waiting while the applied numbing gel to work before giving the shot, blotting excess water, etc.
Now, I have a natural looking smile. Now my heart does not beat quickly when I am on my way to an appointment.

I recently started going to WTDC as I had a few replacement fillings that needed to be taken care of immediately. I just finished my second visit with them and am thoroughly impressed. Dr. Aneszko is the most patient, calming and attentive dentist around. He is truly an artist with the work he does. Professional and impeccable work. The same can be said about all the staff I have come across as well — Monika, Raul, Melissa to name just a few.

Water Tower Dental Care is amazing. I have been going here for 5+ years and have nothing but rave reviews for them. I have gotten cleanings here, bonding fixed and most recently 10 veneers. In every instance they have been a pleasure to work with. From Catherine at reception, to the dental hygenists to the dentists.
Dr. Stino has been my primary dentist. She is extremely warm and always explains everything in great detail before doing anything.
Water Tower is pricey– however; they are upfront about all charges and even have you sign an estimate most times prior to starting any work. I admit that there are probably many other dentists with lower fees but Water Tower is convenient, efficient, professional, trustworthy and most importantly, I know they do an amazing job so the extra cost is worth it to me.
Can’t recommend more highly!

The facilities are nice and bright and they have a top notch location in Watertower.
While the facilities are top notch I am giving this place 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 because this place is not upfront with their charges.
When I initially asked how much my insurance would cover my invisalign I was told up to 2500. What they neglected to say was that the insurance would cover 50% not up to $ 2500 so in effect the insurance only covered 1750 instead of 2500 so I was out of 750 dollars. Of course, they don’t mention this until I already agree to have the procedure.
Later on, I tried to get my credit card charge put onto another card and they wanted to charge me a % fee for putting the charge on another credit card.

Dr. Stino has been the best Dentist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My appointment went very well. The assistant that day was Raul R., he was so attentive and professional. The office is beautiful, very clean and has a relaxing aesthetic. I have had a couple of visits so far and have never felt any discomfort. Needles to say I no longer put off my dental visits.

I can’t say enough good things about this office. I really dread going to the dentist, and I have had issues with my teeth my whole life. The staff at the office is always so friendly and Dr. Stino is so patient and nice. I feel like they go above and beyond to make going to the dentist a stress free experience. They also have a great referral program as I have referred several friends there.

I wanted to see what this place was about after seeing all of their reviews. I found out they don’t take my insurance, they aren’t open on weekends or evenings and after speaking with Catherine who answers the phone, I understand what the hype is.
She took the time to answer all my questions regarding different treatments, thanked me for letting her know my fears and gave me options of what they can do to make me comfortable when I come in. It seemed a bit spendy but you get what you pay for and looking at the website smiles that will be money well spent.
I havent been to a dentist in a while but I would have if I knew about this place. Blown away! I am looking forward to my first visit. Thanks so much, Catherine! :) You are the smile that greets us and the smile that keeps us coming back!

This review is probably way overdue since I’ve been a patient here for
about 7 years or so roughly, and plan to continue to be one for a long time.
The office and staff are pretty much perfect from the moment you step in the
door. The cozy waiting area has a refreshment fridge and comfortable seats
so you can check your iPhone and take a deep breath before your appointment.
I’ve never waited more than a couple of minutes because they run their schedule
like a well-​oiled machine. That is saying quite a lot because there is nothing
that will kill it for me like keeping me waiting and waiting forever. That just
doesn’t happen here. Ever.
I’ve had some dental drama to deal with and they do their level best to make you as comfortable as possible with the following…
— TV’s with a wide assortment of shows on the ceiling to distract you … check
— Headphones if you need them for your quiet listening pleasure… check
— Ipod in case you forgot yours… check
— Light-​weight safety glasses to protect you from any water spray etc… check
— Carefully applied moistening gloss for your lips to keep you from getting
chafed lips during your appointment… check
I’ve become part of the cult-​like following of Adriana’s (one of the hygienists). I’ve never experienced anyone so passionate and intense about cleaning teeth but she has totally converted me. She does a great job of educating me about everything and now my home routine is one she would be proud of.
Both Dr. Stino and Dr. Aneszko are compassionate caring professionals who really care about their patients overall well –being. I trust their recommendations and feel lucky that I happened into their offices because they were so convenient and close to home. They pretty much do everything perfectly from start to finish, and even offer you a freshly baked cookie after you’ve paid your bill.

If you’re looking for the best dental experience in Chicago, this is the one and only place to go. Their state-​of-​the-​art facility is simply amazing and each staff member is genuinely friendly and courteous the moment you walk in the door. I come from a dental family as well so I’m very particular about my oral hygiene and dental care.
One of the best parts of this office is that they treat you like family and are 100 percent committed to a comfortable experience from start to finish. Not many people can say that they look forward to their trip to the dentist but I can definitely say that about Water Tower Dental Care.
My dental hygienist Amanda is super knowledgeable and does amazing work as well. Dr. Daniel Aneszko always treats his patients with respect and care. Diana and Catherine at the front desk are so nice and always take their time with me when explaining my insurance benefits or seeing how I’ve been.
I can’t recommend Water Tower Dental Care enough and I highly encourage people who live or work in Chicago to make this office their own. I always refer my friends to this office and will continue to do so.

It’s definitely time I update my review for WTDC… 4 years-​ish later and I’m still loving every minute I spend there.
The minute I walk into the door, Catherine is there with a big smile and a «Hello!», and I feel at home. I can’t explain how happy it makes me to not be freaking out every time I have to go to the dentist. Knowing that I’m in good hands & surrounded by kindness is worth every single penny I spend.
At the present time, 6 of my friends are patients at WTDC… to me, that speaks volumes. Go now! You won’t be disappointed.

I like going to the denstist! Not many people can say that, but Water Tower makes it enjoyable, for real! The staff are so nice. Dr. Aneszko makes you feel so comfortable and always asks how you are doing throughout any procedures. I had a few cavities, and they offer to show you the exrays and pictures of them, so you can actually see them and whatever else is going on inside your mouth and teeth.
Good things:
–TV’s on the ceiling so you can watch while being worked on
–Chocolate Chip Cookies (somtimes warm!) at the front desk
–Most comfy exam chairs I’ve ever sat my behind in
–They offer the Care Card, which allows you to pay over time instead of all at once
–They had a happy hour and invited all their clients! I didn’t get to go, but it sounded fun!
–Super clean and neat view out the windows in each room.
–Top of the line equipment (at least it seems like it, but I’m no dental equipment expert or anything)
–If you are referred or refer a friend, you both get a $ 50 gift card LEYE restaurants, Target, or another place of their offering. How cool is that?!

After going to a very bad dentist who almost destroyed my teeth on the same floor as WTDC, and given that I have never had any other major dental work other than my wisdom teeth out, no braces, no retainers — my childhood memories consisted of sit in the chair, flouride and done, this place literally saved me. They are so attentive and really just go BEYOND your expectations. After going to WTDC, there is NO OTHER DENTAL OFFICE… period. It took me so long to find you guys and now that I have… I’m never letting go!!!
Have you ever had a dentist ask you the following questions? (samples)
Q1) How do you like information presented to you?
A1) I said «written and visual» so, I had pictures and information presented to me at the conclusion of my visit to show me where my dental work was at that time…
Q2) what are your dental goals?
A2) I wanted to know what to expect as I age (i’m 32) and wanted an action plan laid out so I could see what they were thinking. They gave me a comprehensive plan of action and what needed to be done now and what could wait which in turn allowed me to plan my flex spending money appropriately.
Q3) are your teeth sensitive?
A3) Yes, very — Their response? They use warm water on my teeth
DON’T WAIT!!! Make an appointment! All of the other things, memory foam chairs, TV, Epresso/​Tea machine, cookies, $ 50 gift cards and noise cancelling speakers while they are drilling or doing any work, always asking how you are feeling, NOT FEELING SHOTS AS THEY GO IN (i thought that was impossible) are all just extra perks. Thanks Dr. Stino! You and the WTDC team are THE BEST!!!

Dr. Aneszko and the rest of the Water Tower Dental team are amazing. I hate the dentist… it always hurts, they always judge you, and just, really, I’d rather be almost anywhere. But, I just got home from a 3.5 hour appt. (yes that’s typed correctly), and even though the drugs have finally worn off, I’m still pretty comfortable.
The office suites are clean and relaxing, everyone who works there actually seems to enjoy working there, and they go out of their way not to hurt you.
Even better, if you refer someone, you get a $ 50 gift card (Target, Lettuce Entertain You, etc.) AND the person you referred gets a $ 50 gift card too. How awesome is that?! And, even without this perk, I’d still recommend everyone I know to go there (I already have started going through my list of people.)
I won’t be afraid to go back anymore… as long as I can keep going here.

When I moved to Chicago, I was concerned that I’d never find someone as good as my dentist at home, the one I had been going to since I was a child. Well, Water Tower Dental Care blows him away. I couldn’t imagine a better dental experience.
The staff is friendly and professional. They explain everything to you, and make sure you understand all the procedures/​pricing etc.
They also offer many small comforts that makes going to the dentist office less of a chore. Video goggles to watch while they’re doing your work, IPODs, free cookies, and more. It really doesn’t get much better.
Anyone looking for a dentist, go here, you will NOT be disappointed.

I had my 6-​month cleaning, and just as I remembered, they really do well with my teeth — I love them! Everyone is always very considerate about comfort and managing the slightest pain with great care. The whole team at this office is fantastic. My dentist is Dr. Steeno, and Lisa is doing my whitening.
I went ahead and came back for the whitening for a couple of reasons. 1) I’d never had it, and at 40 it’s probably about time I took care of coffee stains and whatever else dims my teeth. 2) Right now, 100% of the proceeds are being used for free dental care in the Dominican Republic.
I’m not sure the option for proceeds going for care in the Dominican Republic is always available, but I thought it was just nice that my elective teeth whitening dollars are used to care for people that would otherwise go without dental care at all. It’s just a nice gesture, and I get whiter teeth — yay!

I’ve been going here for the last 12 years. That should say something about how I feel about this place.
The «entrance» can be confusing, but I used to go to school and work nearby, so it’s never been an issue for me.
The staff is highy professional and well qualified for the not so fun task of dealing with me and my teeth.
When I didnt have dental insurance, the cost can be a bit high, but they worked within my budget. Also, I dont get too worked up about the cost when I see they hav emore equipment than the Starship Enterprise.
One final note: My last visit involved drilling (I needed a few fillings). They were nice enough to let me use noise cancelling headphones with my ipod to make things easier. Nothing like blasting Death Magnetic while your teeth are getting drilled.
Update:
I should also point out the office have been very helpful with me maximising my insurance option. I was able to split my last visit’s bill between my insurance as well as my wife’s. My fillings were all but free.

These guys handled an embarrassing chip in my tooth with ease, speed, & class, none of which I had when I chipped it. Every single time I’ve ever been here, I’ve been shown the utmost in respect & courtesy. Seriously, the customer service is to die — Catherine is a treat (she’s the Scheduling Coordinator). Is there anyone friendlier?
&, while reading the other reviews … look, if your biggest gripe is that you don’t like the way your dentist speaks &/​or they’re so good they’re booked for a while (hello … any good medical professional will be), then, well, perhaps you should rethink your priorities in choosing someone to take care of your smile. I’m not sayin’ … I’m just sayin’.

i’ve been a patient of WTDC on and of for 10 years. I originally chose the practice since it was close to my workplace at the time. The customer service blew me away. the staff was most patient and understanding of my needs, and they were well informed when it came to referring specialists in related fields. (I had needed oral surgery and braces, and they knew of people close to my workplace)
Though I had to stop visiting for a while, what brought me back was the customer service and sense of compassion that they had for their patients. these are traits that you don’t always find in medical professions.
when I started, Dr. Jennifer Moran was the owner, Dr. Daniel Anesko certainly continues to meet or exceed the standards set by Dr. Moran. I would recommend WTDC to anyone looking to have dental work, from the most basic cleaning to the most advanced improvement procedure.
