Frank did an amazing job, he was nice and very professional. I recommend going to Frank or his brother. It’s affordable and the place is very clean.

Horrible service. I was a fan until tonight. After getting settled and my no chip removal started, I was moved to a different tech since a regular popped in without making an appointment. I won’t be returning ever again. Rather pay a little extra for more attentive service.

Atmosphere isn’t stellar, but it was clean and my nail tech did a good job with my gross feet (I’m a runner). I’m not sure but I didn’t see her take The grater (thing they used to peel dead skin from the bottom of your feet) out of any machine to clean it before she used it, but I didn’t stop her. Overall I was pleased with the service and at $ 25 felt like it was a bargain.

Best pedicure I have ever had. Peaceful, great options, and fun. Went here with my sister who got a ma ochre, while I got a pedicure and my eyebrows done. Came in around noon on a Saturday, and didn’t have to wait. Will always stop by when in Chicago.

I’ve been seeing Frank for more than a year for my nails. He does a great job and super nice.

I’ve gone to this spot a few times because it’s so close to my apartment. I am giving it two starts because unfortunately, you never know what you’re gonna get. A few of the technicians are pretty good and I leave with lovely nails. However, there have been a few times (and a few is too many) where a technician has murdered my cuticles! And when I say something, they act like it’s not a big deal. «You are stabbing my cuticles»!!! I have experienced much better from other salons that charge the same. I just wish the technicians were consistent.

1^st time there one of the guys either the owner or manager who was doing my nails was so busy watching the football game while doing my nails slipped with the electric filer that it caused a blood blister on the pad of my finger. When I told him he just said sorry and did not reduce the price which I felt was bad customer service.
Almost a year later I decided to give them a second chance since I live so close. Big mistake! One of the girls gave me an excellent pedicure but then turned me over for my no chip mani to the same guy from last year. He texted the entire time in between nails and watched the football game. It took twice as long to get my no chip done while he used his phone the entire time! I will not be returning… ever! My French mani looks horrible and I will probably have it redone at my usual place. So much for supporting your local business!

If you’re looking for a place to get your nails done in Uptown, look no further. This place has it all! They have a huge selection of nail polish colors and the best pedicure chairs! Frank is the man and he always does my nails the way I like. The staff is great and you will definitely leave the salon satisfied.

I don’t consider myself a nail salon snob. If it’s clean and they have massage chairs, I’m good. But this was a really bad experience. We made appointments for 3 of us on a Thursday evening and got there early. We had to wait since we were there early. No biggie. But then they could only take 2 of us, and my other friend sat there and waited while we got our pedicures. She was going to get a mani pedi but then ended up just doing a pedicure because we were practically done with our manicures when her pedicure was started. Again, we had appointments.
All that to say– whatever. It was busy, they were way understaffed. I wouldn’t go back, but I understand having a bad night and whiny patrons. However, the day after my toe was really sore and red. I still haven’t figured out if it’s an infection or they just took too much off, but it hurts to walk. And that’s totally unacceptable.

They used a dirty nail file on my toenails and I got a fungal infection!!! Be warned about this place everyone!

I got a pedicure and my eyebrows done here. I was very happy with the quality and variety of polish they had available to customers. I also thought the space was clean. The woman who did my toes did a great job she shaped my nails the way I like it and she cut my cuticles but not to low that they start splitting. What I didn’t like was how crowded the space was even though we called half an hour before and made an appointment. And while my friend was getting taken care of I was sitting in a seat soaking my feet for like 25 minutes! I guess it was worth the wait! Also the nail technicians seem a little rude. My lady was nice once she started but they clearly aren’t big on customer service which makes it uncomfortable for everybody. This place had its pros and cons!

Rude employees unprofessional and is not that cheap either. I walked in for an eyelash extension was Friday no appointment that is why I got here. I entered and nobody came to assist me until one person was doing the nails sit down and wait. When I ask again he answered me in a rude way. Then I went to the room for the eyelash extension and by the phone they told me that they could do it the girl was not there

My grandmother and I wanted to catch up and get a manicure and pedicure together, regretfully I let her pick the place to go. She chose the closest one to her house. I called and said I would be 15 mins late, she was on time. Normally, because I called and said I was going to be late I wouldn’t have minded waiting in line for people who had already been helped, however, this was not the case. It was my grandmother and another lady and then I walked in. I explained I was sorry but I was here for my appointment. They told me,” okay, sit down and wait.” So, I did. Three walk-​ins came in. While I’m waiting for one of the three available ladies to help me, they take the walk-​ins over a person who had an appointment! They made me wait until they finished my grandmothers nails (entire hour) and it wasn’t until I complained I no longer had time to get my nails done did they say oh, we can help you. I told them to forget it and next time I won’t make an appointment I’ll just walk in because that seems to be the only way to get service. I didn’t want to go to this place in the first place, it’s rather dirty and not my cup of tea but you have to make grandma happy. Completely rude employees as well.

They are supposedly open until 8pm, but tonight I went in at 7:40 for a basic manicure and they said they were «done for the day.» I have been there before and their manicures are fine, but with so many other nail salons in the neighborhood, I’ll go somewhere else next time.

went in for an eyebrow wax on saturday afternoon, of course they were very busy, and I had no appointment. It was my first visit, as I had just discovered the location the day prior. I waited about ten minutes, again, it being the middle of a busy saturday, totally understandable, and I really wasnt in a hurry (for once!)
I was called and the woman who took care of me was so nice. They have a regular chair, as opposed to a lay down bed, so due to a neck injury, I told her the chair was hurting my neck and went to just put my hand behind my neck, she tried to message my neck! How nice that was that she thought of that!
Great job on the brows, great service and for $ 8 b4 tip!!!
Ill try the no-​chip next time, but what a great find in my opinion!

I am updating my review to 1 star after 3 days of my nails hurting and today pus coming out of one of them. I have an infection due to this company and would NOT recommend going here!

It was my first time here and it was clean and quick. The guy who did my pedi could have been nicer but he did a good job. I’m kind of bummed that they don’t have similar colors for no chip and regular polishes, since I like to match my colors for my mani, pedi. The guy who did my no chip was super nice and did a really good job.
I came in around 4 and was out about 75 minutes later, it got a little busier as I was leaving but I liked that I got in and out. The prices were decent and I’ll be back seeing as it’s close to my apt.

Ethan is absolutely amazing at pedicures and manicures and non chip! I have been coming to this salon for over 2 years now and I’m always super happy with the quality of work everyone does here, especially Ethan. He is so nice and fast and does a very precise job with my nails, considering I’m very picky. I recommend this salon highly and make sure you ask for Ethan! You will not be disappointed.

Clean, quick, quality nail service right near my ‘hood. U.S. Nail has it all! Came in last Thursday afternoon for a nail take off, replaced by a shellac mani. Never in my life have I seen so many options for no-​chip colors! I picked out my hue and was seated right away.
They even have a rewards program — 5 visits = $ 5 off, 10 visits = $ 10 off. And at $ 30 to have my gel nails removed + a no chip? That’s a pretty solid deal. Would have been 5 stars, except my particular manicurist nicked one of my cuticles (we’ve all been there — no bueno). Overall great experience. I will be back!

I’m disappointed with my recent experience at US Nails. I came here because I can walk here from my house. It’s only like five minutes away. It’s too bad convenience does not also mean excellence.
The pedicure I got was great. My nails still look really awesome and even the basic pedi was really nice. I didn’t need any spa add-​ons to enjoy my experience and get a good paint job.
I am most disappointed with the gel fill that I got. I thought the job was being done well, but a day later I could see the ends of the nails near my cuticles and I just felt like everything was poorly done. The whites of my French tips weren’t extended, so now they’re all thin and small and now you can tell my nails have grown out even though it’s only been four days. I’ve definitely had better fills.
I’ll come back again, for sure, and see if I can fix my fill issue by seeing another manicurist. Hopefully I can up the review and keep going here, especially since the prices are reasonable and the proximity to my home is amazing.
