It’s your average urban grocery store — bodega. The prices are a little high, the products look a bit stale and dusty, but when you need something in a pinch, this place is slightly better than 7 – 11. But that’s not really saying much.

Everything is surge priced and the staff don’t really know what’s going on. I walked in and asked«where are your sodas» and not even thinking he said they had none… when they are directly across from him in the fridge. Also baby whiles were $ 4.99 and I just went to jewel to get the exact brand for $ 1.80. Haha so I got two, they also never really have anything either. and milk isn’t very fresh(usually sell date is within three days). but if you don’t feel like walking the next block to 711 or the next four blocks after to Jewel then this is okay.

Not cheap, but has a lot of random stuff. No booze, either, but 7 – 11 is right down the street. The man working there can be pretty sour sometimes. They sell pipes, too. Good candy and Gatorade selection.

Cool little neighborhood grocer. It’s in a small space and filled with shelves stocked to the brim! It’s a great place to go when Chicago is being blasted by a polar vortex and you can’t make it to the grocery store. Not much in the way of produce, but hey, you really shouldn’t be expecting produce from a place like this. Same prices like you’d find at a 7 – 11. Not cheap, but you are paying for the convenience, not quality.
