Underscore Films

Underscore did our wedding video, and everything turned out great! We worked with Rick beforehand to make sure we were all on the same page with expectations for the project.
The two videographers were dressed professionally at the wedding, and were pretty much unnoticeable unless you were looking for them. I was actually surprised when the footage came back at all the cool shots they had, wondering how I didn’t see them standing right there ha. They spent a lot of time with the bridesmaids and groomsmen before the ceremony, and everyone had nice things to say.
After the wedding we were able to send back comments on the different sections of the video so that they could make changes, show more of grandma or the family, and less of that jerk that never even gave us a gift, etc.
In the end we got a wonderful highlight edit of the whole wedding, including getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception with speeches and everything. Plus the long boring versions of the ceremony and speeches. Everything looks and sounds great. AND we provided a hard drive which they loaded up with all the footage they had, which we’ll laugh at on a rainy day sometime.
All in all, it was a very positive experience. I’d post a link to the highlight video here, but don’t want a bunch of random folks watching it. Feel free to contact Underscore and ask them for a link to the Nick and Melissa wedding. I’m fine with people watching it to see their work.

We have used Underscore for years now, and every time they blow our minds away. The creative genius that Rick displays during a shoot, before a shoot and even during the post production process is amazing. Underscore_​Films is one of the best kept secrets in the business. What his fees are and the product that we get, we always feel like we aren’t paying enough. If you haven’t used them yet, now is a good time to start!

Great communication before there were any issues… then we realized the whole wedding toast my parents did (which they worked on for 6 months — they sang and did a rap) was incomplete on the video. I tried communicating many times for 2 months to have them check and see if they have the whole toast and send it to me or at least to have us rerecord… and nothing. I was told they sent out for the data… and then never heard anything. I tried again, but no response at all…
Really disappointed that something this major was overlooked and I felt completely blown off… plus no apology or effort seemed to be made to rectify the situation.
Really sucks to have this once in a life time moment missing from my wedding video.
I was able to touch base and will provide an update shortly. It has to be re-recorded…so we shall see how it looks and blends.
