So very happy with TrimLogic! Craig did an amazing job on our mudroom and installing wainscoting in our dining room. His work is meticulous and he’s great to work with — professional, reasonable rates, quick response time. Every detail on the finished project is perfect!

When you hire Craig from TrimLogic for a project, you’re not hiring a contractor, but a master craftsman’s. His work is incredible and stunning.
I needed a custom breakfast nook built in our condo to accommodate the needs of our growing family. I shopped around a LOT and got a wide range of estimates, ideas and time frames, none of which suited our budget or needs. (Not to mention, very few contractors had examples of their work to look over.) Fortunately, I stumbled upon TrimLogic and was impressed with the pictures posted and his reviews. Craig replied to my inquiry immediately and was able to provide a reasonable estimate (especially considering the level of his work).
I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and he was able to work with my design and improve it! He added the little details that really made this piece shine like matching the moulding, add little extras, installing soft shut hinges and appropriate finishes. He convinced me to stain the bench top to match my cabinets and leave the base and wainscotting white. What a brilliant idea! The bench visually flows into my kitchen cabinets without overwhelming the area with all white or all wood. He thought of all the things that I didn’t even know I should be concerned about.
Craig was a very respectful of my family and home during the installation process. The majority of the bench build and painting/​staining occurred offsite. This meant less mess, noise and smell in my house. Craig arrived on time (or would text me if running late) and he always cleaned up every day! He was conscious to protect our walls, hardwood floor and even the outdoor area where he worked. He even worked around my toddler’s nap schedule and kept the noise to a minimum during that time.
I don’t need to sit here and describe the quality and beauty of his work. You can see & read this for yourself in the pictures and reviews on Unilocal,Facebook and his website. I really appreciated his communication promptness; he always responded to me immediately. Also, he managed his time and budget extremely well. He gave us an installation date (and length of time) and did not run over nor did he underestimate his budget. Finally, he took pride in his work and his company and made sure the process and end product lived up to his standards.
My only warning? Act fast … he books up quickly! Thank you Craig and TrimLogic for our beautiful breakfast nook. We can now all sit down together for dinners and connect as a family. You can’t put a price on that!

Craig did an exceptional job on multiple projects in our home. To start, he was quick to respond to my inquiry and set up an estimate. He ended up installing wainscoting, a mudroom built-​in, a bay window bench seat, and also reconstructed/​reconfigured some old hallway closet doors and doorways.

Craig was able to take all my wife’s Pinterest inspiration, figure out what was really important to us, and create something perfect. The wainscoting added that something extra to the room. I’m writing one day post-​bookshelf build so I remember to do it justice. Craig and his team were great to work with. I now have a full wall of bookshelves that match my loftiest daydreams to the letter. In addition to being responsive, on-​time, and competitive in pricing, I felt like I got the benefit of creative minds. Craig made some great builds to the initial ideas that didn’t blow up the budget but really added to the finished product. It’s gorgeous and I’m recommending them to everyone.

Our condo is small, but Craig and his wonderful team of guyz (Scott, Mike and Joe) didn’t take our little job lightly.
These hard workers showed up on time, were careful to not make a huge mess and meticulously cleaned up after the job was finished.
It’s so RARE (especially in Chi-​town) to see an owner like Craig. He is truly hands-​on and takes much pride in the quality of his work. Craig makes sure his customers are satisfied. His professionalism and expertise was one of the best I’ve seen in remodeling work.

Craig Becker, the owner/​founder of TrimLogic is what makes this company unique. He puts pride into his work and Craig is the guy that comes to your house and measures and crunches the numbers. You don’t have to deal with an automated system or wait for a human to follow up with you. Craig is your guy!
Not only is Craig there to measure and quote, but he is also hands-​on the job! I had several contractors/​mill workers provide me with estimates, and Craig’s work and his personality won me over! He is an excellent communicator and hard-​worker.
I had Craig and his team install beautiful crown molding throughout my condo. He also built a custom fireplace mantel, fireplace and built-​in cabinets on either side. The piece is massive and absolutely stunning! It is exactly what I wanted and had hoped for from my desires to have this created… P. S. he created this from scratch, from a drawing we designed and it is better than I imagined.

TrimLogic is awesome! You can usually tell right off the bat if a contractor is the right guy for the job. Craig is a very sharp guy. He was always accessible, provided a fast and thorough quote, pricing was affordable, he started the job fast, finished on time, and the finished product was beautiful. All of his assistants were competent and friendly as well. We had four floors of crown moulding, and bookshelves + mantel fireplace surround.

Craig created a mantle for our fireplace and wainscoting in our entry and stairway. The four days it took him to complete the job were among the best days of my remodeling project. He is friendly, cheery, professional and always eager to please. We are so happy with his work and will absolutely call on him for more work in the future.

We hired TrimLogic to make and install a custom-​designed fireplace mantel. The mantel was installed today. Craig at TrimLogic was very professional and friendly! My boyfriend and I got a condo and only had one week of overlap to get things done before we moved in. We were actually able to schedule a consultation with him on the day we closed on the property. He came over and knew exactly what we wanted, which was traditional crown molding in our open concept living room, kitchen, dining room, and hallway. He was very conscientious of our concerns with price. We were able to save some money by painting the crown molding ourselves. I really appreciated having that option.
He measured the areas to be crowned at the consultation. I really liked that they take the measurements, and then do almost all of the cutting for the molding at their shop, so it is ready to set-​up when they arrive and it doesn’t make your place a mess. The men came a couple days after our consultation. They were courteous and hard working. They worked the whole day and really did a fantastic molding job! We were very pleased with TrimLogic. I highly recommend them.

Craig (owner) was very professional in his approach to our project needs. He came out and reviewed what needed to be done (baseboard, crown) and took measurements besides speaking of material options and how the work would be done.
We scheduled the project and his crew (Tom, Corey) showed up. Nice, polite and friendly would be the best way to describe the guys on-​site. With great detail and attention to workmanship, the guys completed the job (install and paint) on time and with no flaws what so ever.

Great! I really recommend this company. The service was quick and friendly, and the pricing was very competitive compared to other companies we got quotes from. The owner Craig did all the work, and he really went above and beyond. We are very happy with the final result.

I shopped around for crown molding prices /​contractors and in the Chicago-​land area it was hard to find the basics (insurance, reasonable price and trustworthy contractors). I found TrimLogics online, which I was nervous about but I’m glad I made the call. Craig listened to how I wanted the finish rooms (living room, kitchen & 2 bedrooms) to look like and worked backwards to give me options and was patient even though I changed it a few times. He did a great job! I’m still shocked at how beautiful it is. The seams are flawless. My windows/​patio doors reach my ceiling and he bridged the distance and it looks great! I can tuck curtain rods or blinds under it, either way it will look great.
I’m a huge fan of smaller family owned business in our own community. Will most definitely recommend TrimLogics to everyone I know!
