About

Toluka Paper began when owner/​designer Tonya Kauffman designed her own Save the Dates and wedding accessories. From there family and friends began asking her to perform her ‘paper magic’ to add a personal touch to their special events. Soon, word of her talents spread and Tonya realized that she had a passion for design. She then decided to end her career in corporate technology to have more time for her family and to pursue her new passion in stationery design. She began managing a busy stationery and gift boutique in Chicago to learn the in’s and outs of the retail market. While working at the boutique, Tonya continued designing custom wedding invitations for friends. As her orders increased, she decided to start her own stationery business and founded Toluka Paper in 2007.

Today Tonya continues to grow her business while balancing the demands of being a mother and a wife.
