The Social Table is a culinary space in Chicago hosting hands-on, BYOB, dinner party-style cooking classes. Events focus on all aspects of a meal, starting with spending time with others in the kitchen. Guests work together to create and then enjoy a family-style meal.
History
Established in 2008.
Founded in New York by owner and chef, Rebecca Goldfarb. Relocated to the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago in 2014.

Our goal is to recreate Rebecca’s best memories of growing up — a group of people all sharing in a meal — making it, eating it, talking about it and hazily remembering the good things about it the next morning. At The Social Table we get everyone together in the kitchen to laugh, nosh, drink, chip in, chop, sauté, cook, drink, sneak a bite, plate, shove their faces, drink a little more and find a way to make room for dessert.
