Great for local BYOB restaurants. Deep and interesting selection of beer and wine, some cold. Limited space, they don’t have everything, but what they do have is great!

Wonderful selection of wine for several BYOB restaurants in the neighborhood. Lots of Orin Swift selections if you’re a fan. We left with a bottle of Caymus.

We had wine delivered from here when we were dining at Ruxbin. We called and asked for 2 bottles of pinot noir and gave a price range and they brought two wonderful bottles very quickly. This place is great!

I loved this place! Open till 10 at night, really friendly people offering great wine suggestions at reasonable prices. They also have quite the selection of spirits. If I lived in the neighborhood, this would be my local stop for tipple of all kinds.

I frequent this place way more than I should, but it is a great neighborhood staple with a good selection and a rewards program (10% off for every $ 100 purchased).

I find it awful funny that when I walk into another business, that does what I do, they’re highly disrespectful. Like I’m not a spy, to spy on your prices, I’m here to buy things we don’t have, and probably never will. Just because you had nothing in the price range that I wanted, because my shop sells those things as well, doesn’t mean you can be rude and very disrespectful. They had things that I only saw at the Village Cellar, where I worked ages ago, which I liked. Hell, they even carried my favorite Zin. But they seriously just lost a customer. I am very hurt to be looked at as a spy or whatever, especially when I’ve purchased there before. There is no such thing as brand loyalty to me, so I’m very hurt that the guy there would talk to me in such a scolding way.

This is a great neighborhood spot, and I visit it often! I love wine but would probably not qualify as a connesieur, so I sometimes find wine shops intimidating. Not the case here. It is cozy and down to earth with a helpful staff and good hours. The rewards program is great (I think it’s 10% off for every $ 100 spent) and I love the staff picks under $ 15. I hear there is another wine shop up the street (Lush) but this place is my spot and they haven’t given me a need to look elsewhere yet!

I like this place a lot. The staff is very down to earth, knowledgable, and helpful. It’s right near many byob restaurants and their hours are also really convenient. Whenever I go I pick up this amazing white wine called Ranga Ranga for just $ 14. It was recommended to me by one of the sales guys awhile ago and I’m now addicted to it. They have a great selection of craft beer and sake, too.

As a neighbor, I suppose I’m biased, but I love coming in here.
Every now and then, I buy a few bottles for myself and the fiancé, and sometimes when I’m on my way to meet friends at a BYOB, or before a party. Every time, the staff is helpful, never imposing — and even has advice about I which wine to try based on what kind of food will be served.
It’s easy to find a good bottle under 12, and if you need to impress someone, they have even more under 25. If you’ve chosen a white, they’ll have a cold one from the fridge in the back.
They have tastings frequently throughout the week, and are generous with their pours! I usually buy at least one that I’ve tasted, and I know that’s the point, but hey, they buy some amazing stuff for their clients!
I can’t say enough good things about this friendly and unpretentious wine shop on my block.

Cute shop with friendly staff. Dog friendly and have a good selection of wines and craft beers at reasonable prices. They have tastings on Wednesday and Friday too.
The staff member was knowledgeable and picked out a wine that fit our taste buds. We left happy and will definitely come again.

Not bad, this joint is. :) A ton of good and many off-​the-​beaten-​path wine, liquor and beer selections, plus more. Came in with friends and left with a large beer by recommendation. I’ll say I wasn’t in love with the beer. I let the worker pick for me. Maybe he thought I would want a beer that is super sweet, and mine ended up being good but too syrupy for my taste. HOwever, they have a very good selection. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a good pick or wants to venture to try something new.

Honestly I used to like this place until I had some self realization. First off if your looking for good wine at better prices go to Lush two stores over.
Secondly, the owner who I am pretty sure is the big round guy with a beard and struggling head hair is a complete douche. I see him there all the time and he always seems annoyed that people were there. There were countless times where I was just waiting for some help and he’s just drinking wine and bullshitting with friends. He just doesn’t give a shit.
I used to like the small wine/​beer selection they offered and didn’t mind paying the extra markup in price, but now I won’t be going back because I feel like I am «in the way» when I am in his store.

They have an extremely helpful staff that ensures you leave with exactly what you are looking for. You can escape with a delicious bottle for $ 10 or break the bank and spend over $ 100. The selection is great and I will continue to walk down the street to this location.

I’ve been in here before with no complain but today put a bad taste in my mouth. A single case of a highly sought after beer arrived this morning. My friend calls to notify me of its arrival and let me know its limit 1 bottle per person, $ 6. I was there within 15 minutes, and was so happy to find a bottle of this finally that I purchase some more beer from his store. I didn’t even notice at the time but I was charged $ 10 for the same beer.
That price is more than double what most stores were charging and it was increased suddenly after they realized the demand. That is unacceptable business practice and I will not be visiting this store again.

Good prices, great selection, super helpful people. Last night stopped by and they had a couple bottles open for tasting and the guy was really helpful explaining about the wines.
They also have a decent selection of craft beers.
The way the store is set up is I think a little more about form over function, but it is still pretty easy to find what you’re looking for and it’s a cool setup.

I love this place. We’ve been here several time before and I have purchased good wine at all of the visits. They great you with a complimentary wine taste which is always a catch — I almost always ended up buying the wine being advertised.
Nice vibe, dog friendly place. Gotta love good people in your neighborhood.

Local place to grab wine near BYOB restaurants. Wine tastings on Wednesdays and Fridays. Joined a «mailing list» to get points & no longer be carded AND they also sell beer and regular alcohol.
I don’t know much about wine. I like red wine, and honestly I judge them by how much I like their labels. I wander in. Its a small «local» feeling place with pallets of wine bottles arranged by price and country of origin. I normally wouldn’t write a review about picking up wine, but I just moved in the area and after telling the guy that works there (that I was new to the area) he genuinely welcomed me to the neighborhood and you know what… that was my first «Welcome To The Neighborhood». It kind of made me want to make this place my regular spot to grab booze. Not to mention they’re open until Midnight later in the week, which I am all about.
The prices are fantastic, I said, «four people are coming over I have $ 40— where are your coolest red wines that will allow all of us to drink?» I walked out with three bottles of really good wine… (with cool labels)
I think I’m going to start saving the coolest bottles to back light and display above the kitchen cabinet. Yep. I’m that guy now

I ventured into this store in need of some decently priced wine. Immediately I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. I was honest and said I needed 2 bottles of wine, trying to keep them around $ 10 each, chilled, white and if possible, with a twist off cap. (This was for a last class celebration. I forgot my bottle opener and didn’t know if anyone else would bring one.)
There was no snobbery and the guy who helped me fulfilled all of my requests. I ended up discovering a new type of wine from a small business I will happily support again.

A sweatier version of myself ran into The Noble Grape on a sweltering Sunday en route to Pitchfork in search of a flask.

None of the nearby lower rent liquor stores stocked flasks and I feared the same here, but I desperately yearned to avoid crappy, overpriced festival beer for three straight days.
No, they don’t sell flasks… but I did purchase a cute, totally portable potable: A 375-​ml bottle of Tito’s Vodka which fit neatly and inconspicuously into my purse. Please don’t tell!
A quick look around the store told me I should return to give the thoughtful wine and craft beer collection a more proper peruse. And so I did, which resulted in a cool Cabernet buy. But bad girls (see above) get bad karma, and tonight I found that awesome bottle of Cab absentmindedly chilling in the fridge, probably zapped of all its big, juicy flavor.
Ah, what could have been… guess this means I’ll have to come back!
