AWESOME, QUICK, and AMAZING SERVICE! Came in for an emergency fix and Sunny, the owner, took great care of me. If you’re not knowledgable onto cars sunny will explain everything. He explained everything thoroughly and went into great detail about what the mechanics were going to do to fix the car. He gave a great discount as me being a first time customer, quick service, and had GREAT customer service. Definitely would recommend anyone here!

It’s the only place I go and I’ve been going there over 10 years. Today, Sonny could have easily sold me a new starter I didn’t need but, as always, he was honest and told me that the problem was something else that costed a lot less to fix. The turnaround time is great! The car wasn’t running at 2:00pm, had to be towed from my driveway and was fixed with an oil change by 6.

Nice guys but that doesn’t help me when the service they performed caused other problems they won’t correct!
I brought my car there some months ago to fix a rattle and loose steering problem. They replaced the rack and pinion steering linkage. While that did fix the problem the VERY NEXT DAY, the car started to make a loud noise and vibrations when I made slow tight turns. I brought the car back to them multiple times and they said they didn’t do anything wrong. They «offered» to replace the power steering pump (at my cost of course) to «see if» that would correct the problem. That was unacceptable to me. I can’t start replacing parts just to see if the problem that started when they did their original work will go away. Then what part will they have me replace if the power steering pump isn’t causing the new problem?
They offered no other solutions.

Did not go in here, so I can’t speak on their work at all. writing this because I had a wheel literally come off my car while driving less than a block away from this shop, it was very terrifying. Luckily everything looked in alright shape somehow still, but I needed a jack to put the wheel back on. So I go here and explain to them what happened, begging for help, just to lend me a jack for a minute. I got told they only have «big jacks», nothing small. The mechanic didn’t seem to care at ALL, didn’t offer any assistance whatsoever and reminded me several times about how they were closing, especially after I asked about what damage I could’ve done to the car with this happening. I luckily had someone pull over and help me out. This place has absolutely no compassion and does not care about people. Awful awful experience… you would think a shop would want to do their job and help people, but not this place if it’s closing in less than 10 minutes, even when someone is legitimately begging and feeling very down after going through something horrifying.

The owner Sonny provided great customer service! He let us borrow an umbrella on a raining day and kindly picked us up from a nearby Starbucks after the oil change. He broke down the charges throughly and explained the work in detail. Plus he’s very knowledge of Priuses.

I came here for upgrades. I love the work here they hooked up so good everyone loves my vechile with all the upgrades. Price is so manageable great prices. I highely recommend this place.

I had a problem with my power steering on our Ford Flex. Stopped by on Saturday morning, they took a look, and got back to me with a couple estimates (OEM parts or dealer parts). Gave me options, which I appreciated. They got the work done in the time frame they committed and also lent me a vehicle so I could get my kids to a birthday party. Came back at the end of the day after close and picked up the vehicle. They were there until everything was taken care of and I was on my way. Great professional service. I’ll be back to Sun Auto Werks!

I highly recommend Sun Auto Werks. I took in my car for electrical services and did an excellent job. I like the honesty, great customer service, and professional manner provided. Sun Auto Werks explained in detail what they did.

If you don’t know anything about cars and you need a reliable auto shop… Sun Auto Werks will be your life saver. They are very honest. Atiq will take time to explain in detail what is wrong with your car and what really needs to get done. I highly recommend this place.

I have never had this great of a service and I will tell you why. I recently went off roading and needed an alignment for my Jeep Wrangler. I brought it in on my only day off, and the owner Sunny explained to me what I needed to get fixed in addition to the alignment. He even had his uncle, who was one of the mechanics, show me what I needed replaced, which included my tie rods and ball joints. I told him that both weren’t in my budget, so he recommended that I replace the tie rods for now. He did not push me to replace my ball joints and was willing to work with my budget. He also knew that I needed my truck right away, so he promised me that I will get my truck the next day.
The next day I came, Sunny wasn’t at the shop, but his uncle handed me the phone to talk to him. Sunny explained to me that the company Moog who he order his parts from did not manufacture one of the tie rods and he had to get it from the Jeep dealership to finish up the replacement and the alignment. He explained to me that the part from the dealership was about $ 100 more than the one he was going to order from Moog, but he did not charge me more for the extra cost because he said he wanted to keep his promise of the original cost and also his promise of getting my truck back the day after. He also kept his word of giving me about a $ 35 off discount since it was my first time there.
So that was my experience in a nutshell.

One of my worst experience one holds hes phone all the time (talking to the manager i think) because he dont know a thing about cars and just asking prices and what to do .i paid more than 300 $ and they didnt fix a thing. Wasting 4 and half hours of my time, if you just want an oil change you can do it if its anything else just go somewhere else.

I have been a customer of Sun Auto Werks since it’s inception and I have always gotten excellent service. The owner is always very responsive to fixing my car at all times. I highly recommend his business.

This place is an essential asset to me. I have used the services here several times and have never been disappointed. I personally live about 50 mins and do not mind the distance because I know I will have quality work from experts.
Having peace of mind that my car will be fix for what I brought it in for and nothing less and nothing more is priceless. I will also comment on the fact that this shop operates with integrity. If there is something else that is in need of service on my car, they not only explain in detail what it is, but showed me. Not too many shops do that.
I highly recommend his shop.

Great business and wonderful customer service :) Stumbled upon this gem looking for help when I lived in the neighborhood and was new to Chicago– I will never go anywhere else from now on! This location educates you on what they find with your car, help give you advice if you are looking to get a new car, and they even show you what they take out of your car so you can see where they are coming from when recommending services. THEY DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! They know that some repair can wait, and some CANNOT! Great prices, and kind technicians. They look out for the customers safety and satisfaction every time you come in. I never worry about my car after I leave, and the owner takes my calls and concerns seriously and helps me get back to my busy life. Support this great business– you will not regret it :)

This is my first time visiting the auto shop. The cleanliness of the place is cleaner than most places I’ve taken my car to be serviced. I just got some work done replacing emission sensors and they discovered an exhaust leak on my 11 year old car. The customer service is second to none with friendly and honest service. The service on my car was done in a timely manner and it looks like I’ll be coming back when I get more work done!

Honest mechanics who have great hours. I take my car to Sun Auto Werks & I’m not the only one – I’ve seen exotic supercars getting serviced here like an R8. These guys are good.

We were traveling in Chicago on our way out of town. Car started acting strangely. Did a Unilocal search & Sum Auto Werks was nearby with 4.5 star rating. Sunny and his staff were extremely kind, helpful, attentive & thorough. He diagnosed the problem & repaired it that afternoon & got us on our way back home that day. I only wish we lived nearby & use them all the time to service our vehicles. Bonus: the waiting area and restroom are extremely clean, attractive and comfortable.

I had an appointment at 10:30am on a Saturday. They took me right away and were done with my car pretty quickly. Everything was cleared and they topped off my fluids. I would highly recommend them for their oil service and they are pretty affordable. The shop was clean and they walked me through what services I would need in the future. Great Job guys!

I came here to get and estimate on my car repair .I got to the shop at 8:30am so the guy looked at the car then we drove the car so I can make sure he knows what I’m talking about so they did a print out of the work and told me that the owner would be in at 1pm and they would call me when he gets in. So I said you can’t tell me he said they have to call and see how much for he parts are. So its five hours later and I still haven’t heard from them I left two numbers for them to call me back. This is so unprofessional .they are already expensive, they worked on car before wow. That’s why I thought I would give them another chance. They lost my business took it somewhere else .I will have my car in a few hours

Best Mechanic Out There! I’ve been to alot of mechanic’s and it’s hard finding someone who will not try and convince you to do work that you don’t need, do a good job, get it done quickly and won’t charge you an arm and a leg.
Some of my favorite things about this place are
1. The owner is professional, knowledgable and friendly.
2. They have the best prices around, I drive an hour to get there and it’s worth it!
3. They work quick. I brought my car in on Monday and got it back on Tuesday.
I brought my work van in here with 160,000 miles, Sunny fixed it up and told me I won’t need any more work done to it for another year. Well it’s been 2 years now and still no problems, thanks Sunny!
