Spa at JW Chicago

This was one of the most beautiful spas that I’ve ever visited. My experience was beyond superb and it started as soon as I stepped out of the elevators. Kelly, at the front desk greeted me with a genuine smile. The décor in their spa lobby was chic and elegant. I began my visit to the spa looking around their well lit retail area. They carried a few of my favorite skin care brands including Skinceuticals! For the past few years I’ve only been able to find this brand in my dermatologist and plastic surgeon offices. A lovely spa attendant greeted me at the front desk and gave me a detailed tour of the facilities and relaxation area. I changed into a plush white robe and spa slippers. After spending a few minutes in the steam and then the sauna I headed towards the relaxation area to enjoy the refreshments. They had some of the best almonds I’ve ever had in my life! They were Rosemary and coconut oil almonds. After relaxing for a little while, my massage therapist entered the lounge and introduced herself. I wish I could remember her name because she was one of the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. More than just her massage technique, she really listen to what I needed. I begin my hydrafacial with Kayla soon after my relaxing 80 minute deep tissue massage. This facial was unlike any other facial I’ve ever had. She was actually able to show me dead skin and build up she removed after the treatment! I concluded my spa experience enjoying the steam room and the infrared sauna one more time. I felt like a new person after my spa day. I will definitely be back to the Spa at JW. I booked a Hammam experience for my next treatment. So excited to enjoy this Turkish bathing ritual in their clarity chambers! Definitely recommend!
