Really happy w/​the work Bob and team did for my 4Runner. They installed a rear view camera, and new Pioneer head unit. I found a few nuances not quite right after I left, but they were happy to knock them out quickly and professionally when I called back. can’t say enough positive about Bob and the approach. Would highly recommend, and be sure to spend the time walking through what you want– they will absolutely deliver it and you won’t feel pressured to go one way or another… two thumbs up!

Robert was very helpful and quoted me very competitive prices for a custom app radio install on my E350 coupe. He had the factory screen replaced with the alpine app radio and it looks perfectly stock since he used the original trim piece. I will highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

Let me start out by laying out my story about my car. I originally had some work done on my 2011 e93 BMW at mid city engineering. These guys quoted me quite a bit for the work I needed done but it was between soundz good and them.
Fortunate for me, the speakers blew out within a short period of time and after Bob and his crew checked into the car, they found that they wired it bad and there was plenty of fault with the work they did. This pissed me off b/​c i spent quite a bit on having them install some stuff in the car and it wasn’t cheap.
I brought my car in figured id give it a shot to see what they could do. I took out all the factory audio they fixed me up with some badass JL’s in the whip and did some other custom work to make this car sound the way I visioned it. I had a minor issue with one of the speakers getting too much power from the amp sent into it which after I brought it to their attention, they took alot of time and paid very close attention to detail with how specific the BMW’s are configured.
Overall, Bob and his son are great. These guys killed it. They got me blaring my music riding through the city the way I wanted it from the start. No one ever thought a little 328i could bang out the sound thats coming from this thing. I got myself the right amp and overall, these guys provided me with exactly the service that someone who really does care would provide. They are educated all across the board, they’ve been in business for a minute and the facts all point to them knowing their shit.
Don’t shop around and look anywhere else, Soundz Good off western is the spot. Don’t scratch your head, dont try to save yourself a few extra bucks over shitty service/​faulty work, its not worth it.
Give these guys a call, they work with your budget and honestly ill roll thru there and get some other work done if I need to b/​c I know they got me covered

I had an amplifier and new speakers installed in my 2010 Mazda 3 about 5 years ago and am just now getting to a review. First, it took them literally from open to close to do this install. I was quoted about 4 hours and it took about 8 – 9. I was patient because it was a brand new car and I wanted the job done right, not rushed.
I’ve had numerous problems with the stereo ever since. Initially, the speakers would cut out randomly. Also, the balance and fade didn’t line up. If I adjusted to just the front left I would get sound from the rear right. When I finally got around to looking into the issues it was easy to see why I was having so many problems. They didn’t use connectors or solder for the connections, just electrical tape. They also had mis-​wired the speaker wire to RCA adapter at the head unit, causing the balance/​fade issues.
I’ve spent several hours trying to fix their shoddy work. I’ve made it better, but it’s not like it should be. They said they guarantee their work but with work as sub-​par as this why would I ever let them touch my car again?

I have been to Soundz Good on multiple occasions for a cooler speaker rig ive got. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Every time Bob and Robert have been able to get the job done at a fair price. They are honest, professional, and experienced. I know where to go the next time my rig breaks down.

Robert, Bob, & Mark Kickass — My 2012 Wrangler has a custom rear bumper with operable tire and I wanted to add a back-​up camera. With all the moving parts on these Wranglers it makes it a challenge to install the system but the guys showed me a couple options and we ended up coming up with a seamless system that I’m extremely happy with. I’ve taken 5 cars to them over the years and they’ve always done a great job! I’ve had stereos, amps, subs, alarms and remote starters installed flawlessly every time. Not to mention when push start cars first came out they were the only ones who knew how to add a remote starter to the push start cars and trust me the dealer looked everywhere and the dealer said that it couldn’t be done until I told them that I would be taking it to Soundz Good. It was done right!

Brought my 4^th Gen Camaro in to have the sound system replaced. Went from a 1.5 DIN to Double DIN system & replaced all six speakers. Was skeptical cause I had heard that 90% of car audio installers screw up the installation on 4^th gen F-​Bodies but Soundz Good did an amazing job. They installed everything the same day I brought it in and for a very reasonable price. Both Bob & Robert were a pleasure to deal with. Extremely clean install as well, no scuffed dash or broken plastic housings. They even used Dynamat to insulate my rear hatch speakers free of charge. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Great service. Brought in my own double din radio. Told me it will take 2 hrs and by the time I got back, to my amazement they where done. They even let me install my new booster seat in my car. I’ve been planning to upgrade my sound system, and Sound Good Chicago you’re my go to guys. You will be getting my future upgrades business. Thanks again fellas

These guys treated me like family. I went in today and they said they would install a viper alarm in my Evo same day. It’s now 6:20 and they still have about 45 minutes left of work. They didn’t complain about staying late and they are doing what they said they would do. Same day install on an extremely hard alarm to install AND they stayed late to fulfill a promise they made. Aces in my book, in fact I’m bringing my wife’s car here on Thursday now to have a viper alarm installed in her car because of how well they treated me. Special shout out go out to Robert and Roger and the installer Mark. I’d bring my car here again without question.

Just hired Roger from Soundz Good to install some shelves in my van. They did a really nice job installing everything and gave me a nice price. He took my truck in on very short notice too which was really helpful for me being that I run tight ship. I will defo be using these guys again. Thanks again Roger!

Called roger and he told me to come right over for my car stereo replacement. He was knowledgable, efficient and professional. The install was done within an hour and I am back on action with a new WORKING car stereo. He even threw in tips for how to spray my rims. Great service. I would recommend Soundz to anyone in the market. Roger was the best!

I am so glad I googled this audio place after I went to Best Buy and they were not knowledgeable about the limited products they had to offer. The next day I went to Soundz good. I was highly impressed with the knowledge and honest customer service provided by Robert. He was very welcoming and basically gave me the run down of all of the sound systems they had to offer in my price range. Everyone that works here is very friendly and I will be a customer for life. I recommend going to them for honest, quality work. I purchased a 12″ alpine E sub for my car and I couldn’t be more satisfied. :) Much love to these guys.

I’ve had several things done to my truck and have always been very happy with the work. In fact, I’m in the process of having more work done. What more can I say?
The prices are good, the people very friendly and helpful, and they stand behind their work. I HIGHLY recommend Soundz Good Chicago. This is a quality place.
And, by the way, not just sound work, they do excellent security systems, custom lights, and lots of other custom work. I’ve always left very happy having gone there and having the work done.

The car audio installers are unprofessional and inexperienced — I can’t think of a worse combination.
Just picture it, you come to pick up your car and the car audio guys are airing up your tire. Huh, that’s nice I guess. NOPE, I drove away and I had a flat. They popped my tire and just aired it up without so much as a word. and that was the BEST thing that happened at Soundz Good.
Soundz effing Terrible. It has been a few months since I’ve been there and I keep finding new things wrong with the «work» they had done. Amp mounted upside down, severed wires due to negligence with amp rack, RCA cords coiled. I am sure I will find even more problems long after this review. Guaranteed.
Even if given unlimited space, I could never express how terrible the work was. Trust me, do your research — and do not rely on these reviews like I did. They had so many 4+ star reviews, I thought I was safe.

I had a great experience with these guys a few months ago. (Overdue review!)
I was dreading looking for a shop that could affordably and timely address the issues with the audio and video setup in my SUV. My existing aftermarket system had gone bad and I had no idea where the problem could be.
I had to wait a little bit to finally speak with them and show the guys since they were a bit busy and didn’t have too much help up front. Regardless, I showed them my situation and they pulled the vehicle in and took care of it right away.
Their prices are reasonable and what you would expect anywhere else. By no means did I feel they were ripping me off, like I do when I go to the car stealership /​mechanic.
Also, I didn’t mind, but they were taking every opportunity to up-​sell with other add on products. Some that I did use and need, while others were unnecessary.
I’ll be going back to them again when I need another install or purchase.

Just moved to the area from TX and needed a remote start installed on my Durango. Given the time of year I thought it would take weeks. They were able to get me in by the end of the week.
Roger walked me through multiple options and finally allowed me to choose an affordable but top notch for install.
When I showed up to pick up the truck, he walked me through a complete demo and even let me try it a few times until I felt comfortable.
Top notch team there and ask for Roger.

Soundz Good is a great place to go for sound and security systems on your car.
I visited Soundz Good for the first time in summer 2012. I had premium speakers installed along with an amplifier. It ran me about $ 1200, but it was a «sound» investment. I listen to music all the time in my car, so it’s a pleasure to be able to turn it up and still have clear, undistorted sound.
Oh, I forgot – I received a free car wash with my original purchase.
Several months after my installation one of my speakers started acting up. I took it back in. Turns out it was still under warranty. The guys at Soundz Good replaced the speaker that day and installed it for free.
I later returned to learn how to use the Bluetooth feature on my stereo. Bob showed me how. Roger helped on another occasion.
I’m more than satisfied with Soundz Good. They’ve been in the game awhile, and obviously know how to run a business. There’s no second guessing. Tell them the problem you’re having and they’ll take care of you.
