History

Established in 2013.

Our Start

G3 Hand Car Wash was established by two sisters and a business associate to create the first «3 girl» owned and operated hand car wash in Chicago.

A Growing Reputation

Combining our business experience with our keen attention to detail (the three of us are neatniks to the nth degree), we are building the best hand car wash in the city. We officially opened our doors in February 2014, and have been well received by the Roscoe Village community, for which we are so proud to be a part of!

Our staff works hard to ensure our customers receive a thorough car wash in a timely fashion and our management team works hard on maintaining 5 star quality on the services we deliver.

Our Commitment

Because all three of us are entrepreneurs, we are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enhance G3’s hand car wash and detailing service offerings as well as ways to contribute to the local schools and businesses. We are open to suggestions, and look forward to welcoming you at G3!

Mainstay: Corporate America and taking care of everyone. I am used to doing — doing –doing and not having any time to take care of my own things, one including making time to get my car washed. So when the opportunity to purchase the building at 3445 N Western Avenue came about I thought it would be a great perk to have a place that will wash my car too ;)

G3 rocks! The staff at G3 is awesome. They really care about the quality of their work.
The manager Jose has put together a team that is respectful and shows genuine sense of ownership to their employer and clients.
The best deal in the city can be found at G3. They offer a VIP pass that is good for UNLIMITED car washes for 3 months! The cost is only $ 84.00 for 3 months! Less than a dollar a day. What an incredible deal.
If you love your car go to G3 hand car wash. They will take excellent care of your vehicle. Love this place!

I’m definitely a G3 fan! My husband and I have been coming to this car wash for over a year now and have been pleased from day one. What first struck me about the business was that it is owned by three women (#girlpower!) and they had a cool feel-​good story behind them. The facility in well-​run, the car is consistently cleaned spotless inside and out, and the waiting area is comfortable and inviting. And just to name drop, Jose always makes sure to ask if they’ve done a good job and if there is anything more they can do. Yes, you’re doing a great job and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

What a pleasant experience! The interior detail (G ‘IN’) cleans so much and the guys here are very thorough. All the nooks for the air vents, door jams and spaces in between the seats were cleaned! All the stains on my floor mats were gone The waiting area has snacks and water with plenty of recent reading materials. There’s also an area to get your dog shampooed! It’s like a 2 in 1! They offer a loyalty program too!

Great unlimited program if you are an über or lyft driver. Friendly service and always professional. They also have an area where you can give your dog a bath. Very quick service. Free coffee!

I’d call this more meh than A-​OK. So $ 200 is not a small sum for a detail. I was expecting to be wowed by the work as all the other reviews seemed to indicate. I even chose it over a place that was closer to my house that did a great job before on one of my prior cars. Well… this was just above average at best. First, when picking up the car, I walked around it to find bugs still stuck on the front bumper of the car. Not just one, but several of them. Wasn’t the car buffed and this sort of thing managed as part of the work? Secondly, as I was driving home, I noticed that there were a ton of leaves and leaf stems in the recessed area right by the windshield wipers. Again, doesn’t this get done as part of the overall job?
The car was pretty clean, but not perfect as I would have expected for $ 200. I’ll go back to my other place. Sorry guys.

I couldn’t help to laugh at the response from the Business owner to my negative review. I moved to Seattle right after the botched detail, where it has been raining almost every day since I got here. And guess what? No water has gotten into my car or the moonroof area. I also love having words put into my mouth such as «put you out of business» and the such.
I believe my comment was «I will post a review on Unilocal» — her response «why would you damage me like that?» To which I replied «because you damaged my car and are refusing to fix it».
That’s all I wanted, was to get this corrected, but I couldn’t even get a word in. Also, this detail was my 17th trip to this business. I had a free wash after my punch card was full, and threw away another punch card the other day that had 6 punches…
Seventeen times I went here, not «a few months».
I sleep ok at night because I know that I’ve been the honest one with all of this. Shameful.

You know when you’re looking for the ONE? THE masseuse. THE waxer. THE chiropractor, you know that you will have to venture out and experience the crappy ones and just keep looking for the one. This is THE car wash. I’ve been to probably 5 other hand car washes, and this one is it. I won’t mention the other ones and bad mouth them, but they were just «eh.» This one, I’m impressed. Great customer service, great work on the car. Price is a bump higher for the top package, but I have zero problem paying for what I get. I’m sad as I write this because I don’t want there to be a huge line, but this really is the best hand car wash I’ve ever gotten.

These guys do a great job at a competitive price. The staff are friendly and seem happy to have you as a customer. The waiting area is comfortable with couches, a tv, coffee, and water. The line never seems to bad when I go. Very convenient to stop by on the way to Mariano’s or Jewel on Western.

Highly recommend the G3 wash at $ 20– hand wash, undercarriage, Armor All, and they shampooed the floormats and did an excellent job on our interior.
Don’t pass this place up– right across the street from Lane Tech on Western!
