Shoreham Mail Cleaners

I have been a customer for over 8 years, having more than 5 items cleaned every week. It has been an absolute dream having such an excellent cleaners and also so close. We have never had a problem and Lee has always provided services beyond expectation. A must use!!!

My review comes a bit late as I lived in the Shoreham over 2 years ago but my last experience with the drycleaner was so unforgettable, I have to share.
Their customer service is so poor once there is a mistake. They lost my belt that is a part of my coat, which could not be worn without it. I knew for a fact that the belt was attached via buttons when I dropped it off. The lady at the cleaners denied there was a belt because she didn’t write it down on the receipt! Just bc she didn’t note it doesn’t mean there was no belt! I continued to call to check but they either didn’t answer my call or put me on hold indefinitely. Finally, they found the belt and said it was in the external shop that actually does the dry-​cleaning. She offered me to have the next item drycleaned for free but I definitely did not go back after this very poor experience.

While I miss the CD One Cleaners I used to visit, the Shoreham cleaners is just so much more convenient (and personable). They know me by name and have been able to turn my dry cleaning around SAME DAY. I’ve used them to fix buttons and they’ve done it while I waited. While I may not think of them as my first option on more difficult alterations, they are definitely my «go to» for everyday jobs.

I cannot recommend this business. They did not repair an item that they said they could repair, and after several weeks of delay, they tried to charge a very high price for other minor work that was not requested. When we refused to pay the high price, they offered to take a lower price (that was still too high in my opinion) but then back tracked on that offer. They still have the item and refuse to negotiate about it. Hope they enjoy it. It is not usable with out the repair.
They also were unable to locate 2 packages for several weeks each. We will not be using them again except when absolutely necessary. (They are the package receivers for the rental building, unfortunately).
