The bartender was busy but took time for my «to-go» order… which was DELICIOUS and packaged beautifully!

Typical hotel bar — it’s the place where you meet up with colleagues before dinner, and pray that some creepy loner or belligerent sports-game watcher doesn’t try to ask you up to his room. Drink prices weren’t unreasonable — I think I had a beer for $ 5 or $ 6? The bartender was quick and on top of her game.

Good beer selection especially for a motel bar. Lounge is spacious and was a nice place to relax.

Rush Bar & Lounge is the lobby bar inside the Marriott Magnificent Mile. As a Chicago resident, why would I come here?(1) Free wifi(2) some good beers on tap and(3) a very laid back management. As a hotel bar, nobody bothers you here. You can grab a nice seat and table and soon a server will come by. You can order a drink and/or food, but if you’re just here to finish some work or bang out some emails, no problem. No pressure to order anything. Not that people do linger here… I’m just saying you could if you needed to.
