Friendly staff, clean facility, and my No-​chips always last! One of my favorite places to go.

What a fantastic facility. It can be a little challenging getting a last minute appointment here, but it’s because of how great their services are and because of how reasonably priced they are as well.
I have been here twice and while it’s no where near where I live, I will only return here for my nail services. The staff is friendly. The facility is clean. I actually watched my tech open the sealed tools to do my nails. No fuss here! Thank you for providing great services at really fantastic prices!

I’ve only been to Revive a few times but it’s quickly becoming my new favorite nail salon. Each time I go I am blown away by the hospitality and the quality service. I always appreciate the warm welcome by the front desk staff, who are quick to help me hang my coat and offer me a beverage as I prepare for my appointment. The nail technicians have all been very thorough in their technique and in honoring my requests for nail shape, cuticle care, etc.
Revive is a beautifully curated space that lends itself to complete relaxation — thank you!

Revive has a combination of skilled technicians and business owners who know what they’re doing. The customer experience has been crafted attention to detail and the folks who I’ve encountered at the front desk are extremely helpful with answering questions about services. They also sterilize their manicure instruments and have a dizzying number of no chip colors.
I’ve had many conventional manicures and no chip manicures over the years. Revive has introduced me to my all time favorite in terms of beauty and durability: No Chip Gel Lacquer manicures. They’re flexible and last without chipping or peeling for almost 3 weeks, even with as hard as I am on my hands (I can’t break the bad habit of using my nails like tools)!
My tips for folks thinking about getting the No Chip Gel Lacquer:
–be ready to pay $ 45 plus tip for the service (worth every penny)
–The lightest colors can sometimes get stained by clothing dyes (think if your nails rub against your dark blue jeans) and start to look dingy.
–I wouldn’t recommend attempting to remove them on your own; it’s worth paying for Revive to do a «soak off» before your next manicure
–Nail art can be done with the gel lacquer. I’ve had French tips and half moons.
–Gel Lacquer works well on long or short nails and especially pointy stiletto nails.
Similar to what Cara Y. wrote below, I live no where near Revive but it’s well worth the trip.

Everyone at Revive is always so welcoming. Stephanie, in particular, takes such good care to ensure my nails are PERFECT every time. She is a perfectionist and I benefit from that. The salon is clean and a peaceful place to be. To top off the experience, they offer water, tea or wine at each visit. I love this place!

I love Revive nails. I had a bad experience with a nail salon close to my apartment building, and a friend suggested Revive. They are a short train ride from me, but I still cherish the experience because they are :
1. So easy to book: online appointments
2. Clean: sanitized nail apparatus, clean towels, restroom and in-​general
3. Great service: not only are the technicians really nice, but they also provide free wine!
I highly recommend them for waxing as well, it is surprisingly affordable for how nice the salon is. All in all, I am a fan.

Revive is absolutely amazing! Offering traditional, no chip, and organic manicures and pedicures. Stopped in for a walk in around two hours before closing on a Friday night and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Accommodating doesn’t begin to cover it.
Wonderful color options, lovely massage chairs, and taking the time to check in with us, the staff is wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and get another treatment!

Revive is my favorite nail salon that is walking distance from my home. The staff is super friendly and professional. They always offer tea, wine and water when I arrive.
I have had several manicures, no chip manicures, and pedicures. I have had no problem booking the manicures through PrettyQuick or by calling the salon directly. Overall, my pedicures and no chip manicures have been great. There is one lady that I love and try to request her all of the time.
My only critique is that I do wish they had a better magazine selection!

I’ve lived in the area for a over a year and Revive has been my go-​to location for no-​chip manicures and standard pedicures. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. (Added bonus: they offer beverages whenever I am there.)
They are good at coordinating weekend services for groups of 3 – 5 (I haven’t had to schedule appointments for more people, so I can only speak for 3 – 5); however, we had initially tried to schedule an evening appointment on a weeknight for 3 people, but were advised only two nail technicians would be available. This wasn’t a big deal as we were able to align our schedules to go on the weekend, but just a note.
Overall, my pedicures and no chip manicures have typically stayed on for the minimum time stated and they are always completed timely and cleanly.
Last note: Not that this is unique to Revive, but if you want to tip, remember to bring cash. :)

I went to Revive with a friend and they were very accommodating as we booked through services and arrived separately. We booked no-​chip mani/​pedis and they ensured we received our services together, which was great! Very clean salon and cute interior. Great color selection — the only disappointment part for me was they do not carry OPI no chip polish and I’m a loyal OPI person. I came in with my color choice (in the OPI brand), but then found out they don’t have that in no-​chip. However, they were very helpful in finding a color similar to that in a different brand. I do not live in the Wicker Park/​Bucktown area, but I would come back here if I did. Super friendly and welcoming and my mani/​pedi looked good.

I called them to see how much they charged for acrylics. Said they’re not doing any acrylic services because they don’t have the technician for it
She was nice. But get it together guys, you’re a nail salon.

There are 3 nail salons within walking distance of my home and I opt to travel over to Revive every other week to get my manicures.
I work for myself, and at a bar, meaning my hands are constantly abused between 14 hour days at a computer and nights in harsh cleaning solutions and Revive’s no-​chip lasts just as long as they promise AND they manage to reset my hands to their original glory every time I go in. Their prices are insanely reasonable, their staff is incredibly talented and kind.
I love you, Revive, you got me for life.

I come here every 3 weeks consistently to get my no chip gel manicure and they do a great job every time. For someone who travels weekly, the no chip gel manicure is perfect and their manicure packages are great for those that get mani/​pedis on a regular basis.
The place is clean, they’re eco conscious and have organic polishes, they serve wine/​tea/​water every visit, and an added incentive is really their loyalty points. The loyalty points are tangible and you can actually redeem them for something worthwhile (exfoliating scrubs, clay masks, 2 finger nail art, eyebrow waxes, etc).
After moving to Chicago in Aug 2014 I was looking for a consistent nail salon. Pinky’s and other nail salons along Division, really just weren’t doing it for me. I highly recommend Revive and they will have my business as long as I am in the neighborhood.

Love this place! Hours are great. Staff is always super nice. My nail tech Vanessa is awesome!

DILAN IS AMAZING! I was in a rush to get to class and he did my acrylics in literally 30 minutes and they look amazing. He listens to what you want and he kills it! He was also really funny and fun to talk to while I was getting them done. A+ for sure. :)!

Final update: Three strikes is my limit. I think the people at Revive (especially the owner) are very nice, but they lack quality and consistency workmanship.
I went in to have two acrylic with no chip nails repaired to tide me over until my fill next week. Vanessa wasn’t available, but the receptionist said they now had an «acrylic specialist» who could do it. He was very friendly and did the repairs, but when it came time to apply the polish to the repaired nails, he said «I’ll do you a favor and put a new coat on the old.» I didn’t ask for it, but I assumed that he was going to put no chip on the existing acrylic.
Instead, he applied no chip to both the acrylic and the raw cuticle where my nails had grown out. The result, as you can see from the pictures, is embarrassing. The no chip is peeling from the raw cuticle and you can clearly see where the acrylic ends. They look so much worse than they did before I came in today! Some of the polish had worn off, sure, but it didn’t look like my cuticles were bleeding.
I really wanted it to work out at Revive because I like the atmosphere and the people, but the quality of work is just not there. The first time, the nails came off easily. The second time, the nails were stronger, but the nail length varied drastically. Now, the third time, I have no chip peeling off of my raw cuticle because the so-​called «acrylic expert» didn’t think about what would happen if you applied no chip to the space where the acrylic nail had grown out.
I’ve reached my limit.

Revive Nails was down the street from me and had great reviews. I made an appointment online and got an email confirmation down with a reminder. It was easy and suitable. I was offered wine, water or tea upon my coming. The staff was friendly and professional. The salon had a cozy and welcoming feel.
I came using a Gilt City manicure voucher and had a great experience. Nice, relaxing place — AWESOME selection of nail polishes — I’ve never seen that many colors so organized. I’ve been using this product for quite a few years. Everyone was really friendly and my manicure looked terrific.
I bought a groupon for revive nails and absolutely love their customer service and quality. Brandon is amazing.

I’ve been a few more times after my last experience.
Overall, they are pretty decent.
The one thing I hate is it’s totally dependent on your technician. I’ve had some really great ones and then some really not great ones. One time, it took 1.5 hours for a no chip mani… the next time it was 1.5 hrs for no chip mani & pedi. It’s very unpredictable, which can be frustrating.
They are the closest nail salon to me now so I’m kind of stuck because even if they take awhile, it’s still less time than me running to find a different salon.
Lots of colors and the no chips usually last awhile.
