Revival Pinups is a female owned photography studio, all hair and make-​up artists I work with are female as well.

What I offer is an experience, your time to let loose and be yourself. I am available either in my studio, which is in Chicago… or to shoot at whichever location you have in mind, or we can come up with together.

We specialize in boudoir, pinup, beauty, portraiture and fashion photography. We also photograph headshots, family portraits, maternity portraits, birth stories, newborns, children, engagement photos, weddings and corporate work.

In addition to the numerous fashion, music and pinup magazines Lori (our photographer) has been published in… we were published within 3 weeks in Playboy Israel, Playboy Mexico and Playboy Italia.

This is a collaboration, your ideas are most welcome.

History

Established in 2009.

I have been photographing for over 20 years in the fashion, music and lifestyle industries and have always loved pin up images. I enjoy creating beautiful images for my clients, capturing moments they may share with their special someone.

In my former life, I loved having my picture taken…

I would set up elaborate shoots and prepare for months. The end result always left me wanting more. The photographer would get upset when I played the role of art director as well as model. Now it is my client’s time to shine and their ideas are most welcome in our collaboration.

Business Owner

I discovered photography at the age of 13 and have not looked back. It’s my profession, my hobby, my passion and a piece of me that has grown over the past 21 years. I received my BFA in photography from NIU in 1997, and had the pleasure to work under some of the Masters of photography shortly after.

My work has been shown in 15 galleries in the Midwest, and published in numerous publications.

I began photographing architecture, then discovered the enjoyment of photographing the urban music scene. Throughout my extensive travels, I have taken every opportunity to fulfill my need to capture a moment in time

from inanimate objects, landscapes, architecture and portraits. I am a purist when it comes to photography and still shoot film; and can be found in the darkroom from time to time.
