I became a first time Mom to my beautiful daughter Viola Marie on 4÷7÷13… I loved photographing children before, but the love has now grown since she came into our lives.

I had an amazing volunteer doula present for her natural birth who gladly took pictures with my camera of the experience.

I have been present for 3 births that I documented and now I am hooked to be able to capture that moment for other new parents.

I feel my body of work is eclectic, and I’m able to adapt to any environment or situation with enjoyment because every snap of the shutter I take, captures a single moment in time.

I am available for portraiture, headshots, family portraits, weddings, newborn portraiture, school portraits, birthing stories, maternity photos, engagement photos, weddings and other ideas you wish to create.

History

Established in 1997.

I discovered photography at the age of 13 and have not looked back. It’s my profession, my hobby, my passion and a piece of me that has grown over the past 23 years. I received my BFA in photography from NIU in 1997, and had the pleasure to work under some of the Masters of photography shortly after.

My work has been shown in 15 galleries in the Midwest, and published in numerous publications. Published in numerous art, fashion and music pubilcations.

I also have a website dedicated to my fashion, fine art and music photography. As well as my pinup/​boudouir photography studio: Revival Pinups Photography.

Business Owner

Lori is outgoing, eclectic, honest and daring. She absolutely loves her boyfriend Jason, their daughter Viola and dog Loki.

She also wears many hats… loves photographing family and children, fashion, headshots, pinup, glamour, boudoir, live music, architecture and fine art.

Lori photographs less than 5 weddings a year, she must feel a good collaboration will take place with the couple. It is their special day and she wants to help make it magical.
