I had a great experience working with Mark Zipperer and the team from Remax while selling my condo in Lakeview. They added value to every aspect of the selling process:
–Pricing — I ended up selling for 40% more than the listing price suggested by another agent I interviewed.
–Showing — Mark is very involved in the community so he has intimate knowledge of the neighborhood and its coming attractions. He’s a great salesman.
–Communication — I could always expect a response from someone from Remax within an hour.
–Extra help — I was not in Chicago during the sales process. Everybody from Remax was great from numerous random issues that came up during the selling process to facilitating and actually performing repairs after the inspection process. They could not have been more helpful.

My husband and I worked with Diana Sanchez to find our home. As first time buyers we had lots of questions and had no idea how the home buying process worked. Diana was great! She explained the process in detail and helped us with any questions along the way. We put in offers on 2 different places that we later passed on, before finding our condo. She was very prompt at submitting everything and worked with our schedule to set up showings. She even recommended a lawyer and lender that were both great. In The Great Apartment Hunt of 2011, we happened upon Deb Russcol after responding to an ad for an apartment we were interested in viewing.
Deb was very friendly and helpful. Even after seeing the initial apartment and someone else beat us to signing, she kept digging for us until we found the right place. She stayed with us until the end and put up with our numerous questions and seeing some less than average places.

I think the world of ReMax Edge. Mark Z., the owner, is the consummate professional: I found him to be VERY knowledgable, communicative, energetic and just overall great to work with. He worked very hard to sell our condo and to make sure we were pleased with the service we received.
Having worked with other realtors who have zero personality, who take hours to fill out paperwork, or who don’t seem to care about your concerns, Mark is really a breath of fresh air! As an investor, I talk to and deal with a lot of real estate agents. And I’m sorry to say that most of them flat-​out suck. Let me give you a hint: If you hear an agent complaining that they can’t make any money in «this market,» it ain’t the market. Mark Zipperer’s office on Grace and Halsted is flourishing, as are those of the select few *good* brokers out there.
A veritable child (talking about me here) walking into a real estate office asking to speak with the owner (something I’ve done quite a few times) can typically tell right away who is open to adapting to changing circumstances to make money and who isn’t. Mark sat down with me on the spot and we talked for about 45 minutes about our respective businesses and how they might fit together.
Aside from his positive attitude, this guy knows EV-​ER-​Y-​THING about Uptown, Wrigleyville, Lakeview, Edgewater, all those neighborhoods. Trust my professional opinion on this: If you’re looking to buy or sell on the North side, go to Mark.
And he has dogs in his office if that kind of thing is important to you.
