Push Play Photography is a small business specializing primarily in portrait photography. Our clients range from newborns to elderly and vary in their photography needs. We do engagement shoots, family photos, headshots, individual portraits, and even dabble in pet photography.

History

Established in 2014.

Push Play Photography was birthed from a dream that was long in the making. What was once a simple hobby used to pass time quickly grew to become an unquenchable passion filled with far-​fetched dreams. While the business itself only started in September 2014, I started taking photos about 8 years ago and have been learning ever since. I’m convinced that I was born to have a camera around my neck and to make tangible the stories of those I encounter.

Daina’s love for photography dates back to when she was just a little kid with a disposable camera at the zoo. I think there are still a dozen pictures of the same zebra somewhere to prove it. She’s always had a desire to capture the moment. From her first «real» camera that made the trek to the Grand Canyon to her dad’s old SLR that brought Neptune’s Resort in Wisconsin to life, Daina is always keeping her eye out for the curious, uncommon, unconventional moments in life.

One of the greatest qualities that Daina possess, both as a photographer and as an individual, is her conscious effort not to take life for granted. From the drop of rain running down a car window to the whimsical smile of a gentleman as he looks at his bride, Daina takes note of the world around her. She does not seek out opportunities to take pictures, rather, she lets opportunities seek her out.

Daina’s passion for photography is palpable, her spirit contagious. It’s simply who she is.
