Post 27

They have so many beautiful pieces here, and all seem to be in pristine condition. I saw a couch there today, which I would absolutely love to have, but at just under $ 4k, not sure I can necessarily afford that. I wish I was a design junkie, because then I would likely justify the spend, but for now, not something my wallet can handle. Maybe someday in the future…
They do have a lot of gorgeous furniture pieces and also home décor pieces, as well as clothing, purses, jewelry, etc. All very artsy and vintage. The owner is extremely nice and helpful as well, without being sales-​y. She printed a tear sheet for the couch I loved, which was cool because you never know… I may just win the lottery and buy it!
Oh, and she has an adorable dog named Jack. He’s so friendly and loves to be pet. They are dog-​friendly as well, so feel free to bring your pooch in for a look at some of their lovely items. I’m sure I will be back, or at least I hope, if not only to see Jack but to also purchase something someday. Keep up the beautiful work Post 27.

Post 27 is an absolute haven for those who are (like myself) tired of paying for furniture that all starts to look alike after awhile, and isn’t made well to boot (ahem, Pottery Barn?)
Their furniture section is eclectic, but seamless. There are pieces from local designers and artists alongside vintage finds, and the style ranges from mid-​century modern to Hollywood glam. Coupled with a few racks of vintage clothing, artwork, and general décor, the store feels warm and inviting, and not at all overwhelming.
Perhaps the best thing about Post 27, though, is its level of involvement within the local art community, and the general friendliness of the staff. Well worth a trip (or a monthly pilgrimage!)

Cool stuff, old and new, handmade and not. Clothes, home décor, art, jewelry. They started the Design Harvest Fest, and that’s a good thing.
Saw the sexiest sofa ever here. But at $ 4500, it has to remain in the store, being sexy. It was gorgeous, though.

Holy uniqueness! Cool space full of awesome stuff. I can’t even put my finger on why it was all so cool, it just was. An interesting collection of products ranging from designer to tag sale. I even ended up buying an old microscope. Why? I have no idea. It just seemed like the right thing to do.
I would bet that you would find something there that you want to take home and will have no idea why you want it.
Post 27 is cool for the best reason ever… BECAUSE.

Great space! I so love the vintage clothing by Evelyn of Axis! Her pieces are fantastic. The design motif of the store and the vintage clothing work well together. The furniture and clothes are definitely pricey, but oh my the joy of purchasing something that won’t break or fall a part in a month’s time thrills me beyond belief.

Angela from Post 27 gave me some design consultation last spring/​summer and couldn’t have been more helpful. She doesn’t work in the usual designer «give me $ 2000 and I’ll find you a couch» mode. Rather, she’ll come to your place, talk about what sort of style you’re going for and talk about the types/​sizes of pieces that would work and what to look for in tables, chairs, rugs, lighting etc. She’ll then send you a report with some suggested pieces and mock-​ups of how things might fit together. She might include some expensive stuff if your budget allows but will also suggest items that don’t break the bank. I ended up taking her guidance on a few things but used her advice as a guideline on others. Overall, things turned out great.
I also snagged a nice little mid-​centure coffee table from their store that fits in great.

The furniture is nice and chic and very classic! I found an absolutely gorgeous chair there that I couln’t leave without, because It was the most unique item I found there.

Selection seems very small given how extremely large their store is. I found their pieces overpriced for the quality of shape they were in. There was just a very lackluster feel about the place. But I do give them a big hats off for very friendly and helpful customer service.

Though I’m never welcomed into the experience as I enter — I always enjoy the journey through the cool finds.
Love Bladon Connors’ work. Love the mid-​century mod pieces. Love to peruse the art work available for purchase too.

This store rocks. I can’t say enough about it. I could live in the space, it feels like a home when you’re in there.
High quality vintage furniture and accessories at fair prices is hard to find, but they make it happen. Are some pieces overpriced, yes, but many are very low priced as well so it all balances out.
The owner is so cool that she’s let me peek in the back room a few times to check out new items that aren’t quite ready for the floor to see if I’m interested. Now that’s customer service.
If you’re looking for a place that takes you into a world that’s not CB, CB2, or any of the other chain stores, then you’ve found a home.

I’m a big fan of this place. Fantastic mid-​century pieces with new and interesting things mixed in. There’s no air of pretense in this place. It’s comfortable, laid-​back, and the owner has a great eye for fun pieces and brings them together well. I’ve always been treated well when I come here and always find something new and great with every visit.

Finding a vintage furniture shop that is neither horrendously expensive, nor just a total junk heap masquerading as a proper shop, is a rarity. Post 27 is neither of these. It is a very well edited selection of vintage (and some new!) items, that are all in fantastic condition, and are being sold at very reasonable prices. No, it’s not cheap to buy the furniture, but the furniture isn’t falling apart, and is made of nice old-​timey materials. Imagine furniture made of wood instead of MDF! I know.
If I had the means, and a bigger place, I’d shop here all the time. However, having said that, I purchased a loveseat there a few months ago that I was intending to have reupholstered. Not only did I get a very high quality piece at a very decent price, but the owners were SO HELPFUL with suggesting places to go for fabrics, and recommending their upholsterer, who works at a reasonable price.
And best of all? This is a no attitude zone. So many vintage shops that carry nice pieces aren’t even worth going to because of the discomfort level I feel as a result of snotty proprietors. The owners of this shop are really great, and make you feel comfortable to be there, and are so not pushy if you just want to have a look.
Beyond the furniture, I should also mention that they have a lot of very reasonably priced gift items, and would recommend people stop in for a look if they want a unique gift on short notice.

Beautiful show room, awesome selection. Look: it ain’t a thrift store, so you can’t complain about price. The Danish Modern and mid-​century pieces are meticulously custom-​refinished and in excellent condition so you have to drop some coin, but it’s worth it. The store also carries a well-​selected collection of new and handmade items and vintage accessories that won’t break the bank. The owners are über-​friendly and helpful.

This is the coolest store ever. I wish I could live here. They have an amazing selection of vintage furniture, but it is in pristine condition, and the price tags reflect that.
While my fantasy land is of being able to purchase the awesome furniture, my reality is that they have amazing sets of glasses, place mats, trinkets, candles, art pieces and cool kitchy books and stuff.
This store is so wonderful, I can’t wait to go back and see what’s new.
