Great move. These guys wrapped all my stuff so carefully. Not a scratch or dent on a single thing. They were a few minutes early and got to work right away. At tye end the price came in exactly what was estimated. Watching how quickly the dudes worked i was hoping id shave a few bucks off, but i was moving into a 3^rd floor. They set up my bed and loaded all my boxes into the right room. A total back saver. I would for sure suggest thiis guys to any friend.

The two movers I had did an awesome! They were super kind and polite. The company even called to check up on the move. I would highly recommend them.

I booked a moving service yesterday, two guys Nery and P-​253 arrived on time, and were very friendly to talk to. They packed my fragile furnitures with protectors and tapes, and moved to their truck very carefully. Driving to my new apartment’s loading dock was quite complicated but they figured it out quickly. Overall it was a great experience, nice guys, professional service, highly recommend!

I moved from my brief exile in the ‘burbs back to the city (yaaaaassssss) but my movers fell through at the last minute. A coworker suggested Olympia. So glad he did. They stepped in, and made the process easy.
Shane did the estimate over the phone, then emailed the documents for my signature. The confirmation was emailed back to me the same day. The day before the move, I got a call and an email from Shane confirming the time window.
On the day, I got another call from Shane to reconfirm the time. Then (ok, this sounds bizarre but I swear it’s true), the crew chief on the truck, Juan, called *and* texted with his ETA.
When they arrived, Juan introduced the crew — Victor and Carlos — and did a walk-​through of the contents. He clarified the job details, then the guys loaded the truck. In addition, they took care of the things I needed moved to the lawn extension. They were fast and thorough. All I did was stay the heck out of their way ;-)
Dispatch called while we were en route to be sure things were ok. At the destination, it turned out that the truck wouldn’t clear the fire escape in the alley, but Juan figured out a solution. The job was completed on time and within the estimate. Before leaving, Juan checked with me to be sure all the stuff was placed where I wanted it.
Kudos to this crew for a job well-​done. I hope I don’t move for a long time, but if I do, I’ll call Olympia again. And I hope I get to see Juan, Victor, and Carlos again.

I was really nervous hiring a moving company because I read a lot of horror stories, but I ended up choosing Olympia Moving and Storage. I couldn’t be happier! I moved from a 3^rd story walk up to a first floor apartment about 10 mins away from each other. I was quoted 4 hrs, but it only took them an hour and a half from start to finish. Which save me a lot of money. The 3 guys they sent worked so fast and I didn’t have any damage to any of my stuff. And a plus I didn’t get charged any extra for my 3^rd story walk up. They were Awesome and I would definitely recommend this company

This was my first ever experience using movers. I can’t say enough good things about these guys! Arrived right on time and they were SO FAST. They got my move done in about 2 hours! Everything looks to be in perfect condition they were super professional! Andre (A-​344) was awesome and made my move so much less stressful. I will definitely be hiring these guys again for my next move. I recommend them 100%!

Very fast and efficient with moving. Came prepared with extra boxes and tape to consolidate our belongings. Helped us move things around in our new place once we were settled. This is our second time using them to move, and we will definitely use them again!

Alfonso and his crew were amazing! They got down to business right away and conquered my move in under 2 hours! They were also very patient as we tried to locate the dock of my new place in Lower Wacker DriveRafael and Allen handled my things with care, taking time to wrap my bed and sofa and asking me where I wanted things placed at the final destination. I definitely Olympia Moving and Storage to anyone looking reliable and fast movers.

Our movers were great! Juan and his crew did an amazing job at protecting my furniture. They were extremely flexible and didn’t hesitate in doing whatever I asked of them. I was blown away with how fast they were, especially since they charge by the hour! They made sure I was completely satisfied before they left. (Sometimes it’s the little things). This was my first time moving and I went into it nervous but the whole experience from beginning to end went smoother than I could have hoped for. If I ever move again, I’d definitely go back with Olympia. Really great job guys!

Gave me a window of arrival between 3 – 4 they arrived at 341 so thats good news. Wrapped up all my valuables for me which was very nice. The move out only took them 32 minutes (i timed it because you pay by the hour). Move into the new place 3 flights up no elevator just under an hour. Didnt stop working the entire time. The only reason it get 4 ans not 5 stars is becuase it took them 3 minutes to go 12 city blocks. While there reason was acceptable, being that the truck was to tall to fit under the train. I feel that they should have a contigunsy plan for this. I have driven a many of trucks in the city and my gps always tells me the route in which my truck will fit! But still i would use them again!

Olympia saved our move! We had a two day move scheduled for a Saturday and a Monday with a different company. On Saturday the movers were moving our furniture from their storage facility where it had been for the past 8 months and when they showed up they had lost some of our furniture and all of the screws to reassemble our furniture. A three hour move turned in to an 8 hour move waiting for their «fix it» team. Needless to say we cancelled our move with them to move out of our condo on Monday. Lucky for us, we had a referral to Olympia and they were able to squeeze us in last minute. The team that helped us schedule the move and the crew that was sent to execute were amazing! Everything was handled very carefully and the team were respectful of our belongings. They even moved an item that the other movers wouldn’t touch because it was «too heavy» to walk up a flight of stairs. They truly saved the day for us and I have already recommended them to a close friend for an upcoming move!

Olympia movers were on time, helpful and considerate. The 3 guys assigned to my move were efficient and took time to carefully wrap fragile items. 2 downfalls are that while my moving package included wardrobe boxes no one informed me before the move. Also I wasn’t informed on the payment process until the movers showed up. 3% charge to pay by credit card or you can pay with cash or money order. I went to the bank 30 minutes before the movers finished so they could give me the final total. However if I would have moved in the evening after bank hours I would have been very upset with the extra charge. I moved a 2 bedroom 2^nd floor apt and it took 5 hours to complete move. This matched the estimate they gave me. I would recommend this company for a move.

I thought I had some bad moving experiences, but I had no idea how bad it could get. These movers are terrible. They arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes late after I told them that I only had the freight elevator reserved for the morning at me destination. The result was that there was two hours of down time in the middle of my move.
They demanded payment in full when we arrived at my new address even though it was unclear what the charges would be because they came so late. I refused to pay before they finished the job and they threatened to leave with all my stuff! I told them that I would call the police if they left with my stuff. They decided to go ahead and unload my stuff.
Then they kept trying to get me to agree to a price in advance of finishing. I told them I would pay the actual hours they worked less any additional charges for the freight elevator. The manager’s last offer was two hours off my final bill. We got to the end and the actual hours worked were 6, exactly what would have worked with the elevator reservation I had made and paid $ 150 for if they had shown up on time. Instead the move took 8 hours.
The foreman of the crew offered me one hour reduction in price, so he wanted me to pay for 7 hours plus any additional elevator charges. I told him his manager had offered me 2 hours, which would be fine as long as the property manager wasn’t going to charge me for the additional elevator time. I called the property manager in front of the foreman and she said they were charging me another $ 150 for the elevator.
So, I told the foreman I wanted the two hours off that they didn’t work and a credit for the extra $ 150 for the elevator. He called the dispatch and they told him to call the police, which he did.
The police came and left while the movers were sitting in their truck. The police were unhappy they were called for what was obviously a civil, not a criminal matter.
Long story short, I paid for the 6 hours and got the $ 150 credit, but what should have been 6 hours total moving ended up being 9 hours after all the ridiculousness. My stress level was through the roof. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!

I recently used Olympia for my move from Lakeview to River North in Chicago and they were an extremely impressive, efficient and professional moving service. Juan N., Nevy R., and Marco M. were fabulous– seriously seemed like magic how quickly they moved down my third floor walk up apartment. Equally as impressive was how carefully they wrapped my furniture to ensure it was safe. Everything arrived exactly as it was before my move. The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because they did arrive a bit late (although they kept me informed as to their delay, so I could plan accordingly which I really appreciated). Once they arrived, the move took an hour and fifteen minutes less than I was originally quoted– awesome! Highly recommend Olympia for your move and be sure to request the dream team of Juan, Nevy and Marco.
