Great coworking space, bigger offices that «other» coworking spaces in the area. Reasonably priced, unlimited coffee, happy hour Friday. Quiet & spacious. Flexible conference room availability & minimum restrictions or limitations. Matt was very helpful with the move in process and after.

This is a great environment in which to be productive. When it comes to using the space, being billed, etc., the manager Matt is extremely reasonable and flexible, which I really appreciate. I’d recommend this space to any individual looking for a great place to work either for a day or on an ongoing basis.

What a GREAT Coworking environment! The staff was so very helpful, they have a free trial day, and it is really affordable for the daily rate ($ 20).
I’m visiting from San Diego and being an entrepreneur, you quickly get work-​withdrawl so I really wanted to crank out some work from my laptop during my vacay (yeah, I’m a weird one, I already know that!). This was the perfect place to do that. The time went by quickly with fast internet, plenty of coffee & tea, and being surrounded by others getting their work done helped too. I was just getting too burned out on working from Starbucks so this was such a great change of pace and I plan on working there tomorrow too. Already made some friends there so it’s nice to have a workspace whenever I am in town.

NextSpace is a great option for me and Crowdtap, a social influence marketing platform. Great for ramping up a new team and office. High energy, productive environment, inclusive culture. Great location, size, and all around cool vibe.

I recently moved to Chicago and was lucky enough to be able to work remotely. I’m a financial analyst, but my company is based out of Los Angeles and Philadelphia. When I first moved here I tried setting up a home office or working from local cafes, but I found it increasingly hard to focus and motivate myself (the plus side — I was always on top of my laundry and really got familiar with daytime television).
A friend of mine mentioned looking into finding a co-​working space, which I really didn’t know much about. I did some research and read some positive reviews about NextSpace, so I decided to try it out. At first I was an occasional user of the space and paid for it on a daily basis. After a few weeks I realized I was definitely much more focused working out of NextSpace and that it was definitely worth the additional investment to become a monthly member.
Ever since then, things have only gotten better. The staff (Ashley and Johnny) is excellent at creating a friendly, yet professional atmosphere. The other coworkers are not only friendly, but very intelligent people that I truly enjoy having conversations with. The place kind of has it all regardless of what it is you’re looking for. And possibly the best part… every Friday at 4:00 (actually 3:58) they sponsor a free happy hour! It’s all good here at NextSpace and would absolutely recommend to this anyone!

The gals that work here are fantastic. Just what a place like this needs to lighten the mood while everyone is working hard. I got a ton done and will be back my next trip to Chicago. You look out the window to the brown line stop, there is tons of space to spread out and plug in, great coffee, Elli (sp) the huge Golden Doodle rocks and they have the perfect staff.

I’ve been coworking at NextSpace since it was known at the Coop, and its as great, if not better, than its always been!
As an employee for a virtual company, I was missing out on those co-​worker connections that you often get when moving into a new city. NextSpace gave me the space through which to not only work more productively out of my apartment, but meet creative, motivated people all trying to make their mark in Chicago.
I started out coming in sporadically, one day a week here, one day a week there, and quickly realized the value of having a work home away from home here at NextSpace. I’ve been a monthly user for a year now and can no longer work isolated (nevermind productively) at home on a routine basis.
If you’re thinking about coworking, do it at NextSpace! It’s totally worth it.

Myself and my two partners have been with NextSpace RN since it was The Coop! We’ve been working here for a year and stayed on through the transition to NsRN. NextSpace RN is a relatively quiet workspace with large desks that are well placed in the space. The space fosters creativity and there is a regular rotation of new artwork installations on the walls. The people who run and own NsRN are not only supportive and helpful, but also creative types themselves. In August 2012, after placing second in a local startup competition, my business partner and I won 6-​months free office space at a co-​working space of our choosing. When asked which place we wanted to work at, the choice was simple:
We wanted to work at NextSpace (formerly The Coop).
There were a number of reasons:
First, the environment is conducive to actually getting work done. Everybody has a good amount of personal space and the atmosphere is relativity quiet (even with it being right next to the Chicago Brown Line).
Second, the community actually feels like a community. Since the space isn’t in some giant warehouse, it’s actually possible to learn everybody’s names within the office. Not to mention there are some smart and interesting people here.
Finally, the staff and owners are some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet. In addition to being supportive of your needs, they are also quirky and creative people. This creativity extends into the décor and culture of NextSpace and makes it a unique place to work.
So if you are looking for a co-​working in space in Chicago, look no further. NextSpace River North is one of the best.
