We’re the destination for unique gifts for those hard-​to-​buy-​for design loving friends. We also offer Design Services and represent over 19 different furniture, custom area rug, and lighting manufacturers to help make your house a home.

History

Established in 1991.

We started off as a gallery showing custom furniture that we designed. We added art by close friends and others we admired. Slowly it evolved into a Retail showroom, where we also offer Interiors consulting.

Business Owner

Sinoway, the creative, has enjoyed most of his life in the «Arts.» He completed his degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1975. Studies in sculpture, drawing and ceramics provided a foundation for his utilitarian direction which he later translated into an unique blend of reduced simplicity and basic materials creating a visually enticing style of furniture. His art and furniture has been exhibited in prestigious shows and venues here and in Europe. These exhibits, both invitational and juried, included The Art Institute of Chicago and The Salone De Mobile. In addition, Sinoway has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers and book publications. His artistic influence is present throughout this country in residential and commercial projects. He is currently the principle of Morlen Sinoway-​Atelier, located in his birthplace, Chicago, where his furniture designs and sensibility for Art and Furniture are forever apparent and on display.
