The warnings that the store is never open, despite posted hours should have prepared me, but I thought «Surely these are exaggerations! No modern day business person would run his or her shop so carelessly and treat current and potential customers with such disregard.» Sadly, the reviews proved to be true. I am visiting Chicago, so they have not lost a repeat customer, but hopefully other potential patrons will take this review under consideration before wasting their time trying to visit Mia Mora.

this store is incredible. a hidden gem with a gem of an owner. the shop is small but warm and inviting. everything is very well organized. if you are looking for designer vintage this is your place. some of the formal attire was to die for (sadly most ran a women’s 4) and all in all not badly priced. everything appeared to be in top condition. there was also a large selection of st. johns (small too). she has lovely shoes and hot suits. also sells french soaps that smell super yummy. she couldn’t have been nicer. highly suggested.

The window displays are terribly cute and the merchandise inside looks darling and right up my alley style-​wise; but Mia Mora doesn’t care to keep the store open according to their own business hours. I’ve gone by three times when the store was supposed to be open, only to find the interior completely dark. Wack!

Best vintage store in Chicago. Pleasure to shop.
Quick note before I gush — Mia Mora is open Thursday through Sunday. I’ll pop the hours in — by FYI:
Thursday — Saturday: 12pm — 7pm
Sunday: 1pm — 5pm
Monday — Wednesday: By Appointment.
Back to gushing. If you are hardcore vintage aficionado or someone who likes pretty things and got hooked into Mad Men last season, you will be delighted by Mia Mora. The inventory is stunning. Well preserved. Unique. Wide range of items — styles and prices.
And, Maria, the owner — blessed with spot on fashion sense and likability — is a gem. She will find the perfect item for you.
During my first visit, Maria assembled the perfect holiday ensemble. ¾ sleeve, vintage, past the knees. Feminine. Classic cut. 1960’s. The belt she found was perfect. Perfect. I skipped away. You know the feeling of finding the perfect dress — you know! That is what you can get at Mia Mora.
PS — I also got a pair of glasses that will have my own lenses and the ideal vintage Saks wallet. Function + Form? Tres Chicago!

Fab finds here. Awesome patent leather bags, delicate lingerie and gloves, glitzy beaded sweaters, slinky disco-​era belts, and ladylike dresses. You could outfit the cast of Mad Men with this stuff! The tiny shop is adorable and homey, decorated with care. Maria Morales, the owner, has as much personality as her wares. Be sure to chat her up.

Walked in on a rainy Sunday and walked out with a beautiful Armani top, some lovely soap, and some dainty little jewelry. Maria was helpful, but not pushy. Great shopping experience and very cute store!

Yes, this place is not open very frequently despite what their hours say. Good luck getting in! Try a weekend…
In reading the other reviews, I’m really lost… I didn’t see anything designer here except a few bags. Most of the clothes were teeny tiny and unwearable. I also saw tons of 80’s-90’s vintage, which I don’t really consider vintage. I’m usually on the lookout for pre-​1960 pieces.
The place itself is cute and packed with items. I just didn’t see anything that interested me enough to make a return visit.
Oh Vintage Deluxe, why did you have to close?

I love Mia Mora. Maria has done due diligence to haute couture vintage — and Logan Square. Top lines don the racks here — Fendi, Chanel, Stella McCartney and more — all in good condition and for Banana Republic Prices. There is a large selection of items here and Maria the store owner is more than happy to keep an eye out for things you may be looking for. She is friendly to boot! I’m a huge fan and this is on my staple list of places you should shop.

Mamma Mia, Mia Mora!!!
As a lover of vintage Mia Mora is always one of the stops I go to when looking for great vintage. Everything is in great condition, and there’s tons of designer vintage like Chanel, Gucci, Vuitton, Dior, and DB. Hats and shoes galore!!! One of the first things I bought here was a great vintage hat that I finally decided to wear last week, and got a lot of compliments on it. While my mom was here for mother’s day I got her a vintage Vuitton bag that she loves to death. Anyone who loves vintage should come here, great pieces for, compared to New York vintage, very, very reasonable prices.
The interior is very beautiful and smells sweet, Maria the owner is as sweet as her store and is very chatty and happy to go out of her way to make sure you find what your looking for. On one visit, I found a great Chanel blouse that managed to fit me, but was tight around the bust, if I can get those puppies down maybe I’ll get it in the future.
I hope more and more people visit Mia Mora, as I want small nicely-​priced beautiful vintage stores in Chicago to stay alive for many years to come.
