Metra Rock Island District Line Station

The police officers are extremely rude and pushy here. My train left early, so I had to wait an extra 2 hours. In the process of waiting in a nearly empty station I laid on a bench watching YouTube on my phone. Soon after I heard a loud yelling, borderline screaming, so I took off my headphones. The male police officer that was working security at 7:00pm on a Saturday was loosing his mind because I was «laying» on the bench while waiting. He screamed at me,“The bench is not a bed” and demanded in the rudest way possible for me to sit up. It was an extreme over reaction that could have easily been replaced with a simple request. I then went into their office to tell them why I was trying to sit more comfortably because their train had left me stranded. Before I could even say anything, the other officer began yelling at the top of his lungs in the most ridiculously extreme fashion for me to stop talking saying he «didn’t care» and it doesn’t matter. I could understand if I was being unruly or disrespectful, but these police officers acted like children to an upstanding citizen waiting for a train. I can’t even imagine how they would handle a serious situation.
