Sheduled an appointment for 3:30 PM and showed up early and they were able to take me right away which was really nice. The guy that did my nails took his time but they still look terrible… Usually after getting the acrylic nail put on they have you wash your hands before they put on the color, right? He didn’t. Also didn’t bother cleaning up the acrylic from my skin and it’s stuck there and looks terrible. Doesn’t look like I just left the salon at all. Won’t be back. Maybe the girls do a better job but beware of the guys…

I booked a manicure thru the Whittl app for $ 20 and was up-​sold a spa manicure upon arriving. From the description I thought I’d be getting a longer manicure treatment with a tech who’d be attentive to details.
The girl who did my nails rushed thru my cleaning and even thru the cutting of my cuticles. which she damaged severely. She cut too low and multiple times I felt itand jerked back. I wasn’t going to write a review until looking at my polish this morning which is already chipping and bubbled on many of my nails.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend, nor will I be back.

Always best to make an appointment. Walk ins are of course welcome but you’ll always be served first when you do a reservation. They are great about if you come to your reservation early too which is nice. Every time I have come here, the service is fast, efficient and most of all great! They aren’t too fast where you think they are just trying to get to the next customer, but respectably fast and do the work diligently. I have come in 3 times now for a gel manicure and each time takes 35 min and the manicures each have last 4+ weeks. Amazing! My new regular spot. They also offer weekly deals on their website!

Quick, no nonsense mani-​pedi for $ 40 in about an hour– can’t beat that.
I needed to kill some time between arriving into the city and meeting a friend so what better way to do that then a mani-​pedi, amiright?! Located within walking distance to union station where my train came in at, I wheeled by bag over around 10am and got one of the last walk-​ins available.
The pedicure was quick and efficient;nothing fancy but it was clean and my polish looks great. Same thing with my nails– I just got the basic color but it looked great and I was in and out in about and hour for both services.
The salon looked as most nail shops do– a hodgepodge of «classy» looking TJMaxx wall décor items. The ginormous crystal chandelier In the foyer was stunning albeit out of place in a nail salon.
Still, there was a full house of nail techs available and I sat next to a few regular customers who seemed chummy with the staff, which is a good sign that they treat their regulars well.

This was my first visit to this salon. I called ahead and made a 12:30pm appointment and when I got there the place was packed. Guess everyone decided to go on their lunch break. I only had to wait 5 minutes before they started on my mani. I originally wanted and requested the loop spa mani, but received the regular mani. Not sure if the extra 5 minutes was a huge factor or not. The gentleman asked the preferred shape of my nails then went to work. The next time he spoke was upon completion to ask if I liked it. The manicure is okay, not the best I’ve had. I get it, its busy, but I felt so rushed. I did have to walk back because they did not give me back my polish I brought. I called and they had it waiting for me. I would go back, the location is very convenient for a quick polish change.

Oh I loved getting my nails done here. I swear my manicure lasted a good amount of time. My pedicure however lasted even longer. This was definitely the most rewarding thing from my trip to chicago because the pedicure stayed for so long. So whenever I looked down at my toes, it was a nice little reminder of my trip.
Not to mention I am very particular about how I liked my nails, shape, length etc. So any place that can put up with my madness is awesome in my book.

I went here on Thursday for a manicure. The girl who did my manicure did not want to be there and could not have been bothered with details. She was talking to herself and rushed through the process. I had to ask for touch ups because it was so sloppy. I had to take off my polish by Saturday because 6 out of the 10 nails had polish completely peel off. What a waste of money. I don’t think they really care either because they have a somewhat captive audience. I won’t go back.

I work really close and I have been coming to Loop Nail Spa when it was formerly Robert Valentinos, so around 7 years. They do good work, but this also depends highly on the nail tech you go to. I have been going for so long that I know mostly all of them and they know me. For the most part they keep their techs, which is nice, but also new one’s do come and go. My go to techs are Kim and Cindy. They have been techs there since the previous owner and do very good work. They’re professional, personable and good at what they do. Any service I receive whether it’s a no-​chip or mani/​pedi always last. I also have had my nails done by Vanessa and Janet and they’re good too. They have also been there for a number of years. I typically know how to gauge the best timing to go, which if it’s a Thur or Fri your best bet is to get there either before 11:30am or after 2:00pm to avoid the lunch time rush (It can get pretty crowded). Mon-​Wed the wait time is not bad at all. Even still when it’s a crowd if you do not have a preferred tech they typically get you serviced within 10 minutes and you’re usually out in 30 – 45 minutes, so the perfect lunch time nail spot. They have a lot of nail techs and stations so that helps. Their color selection of regular nail polish and no chip is HUGE. They’re possibly the downtown nail shop that has the largest nail color selection I have seen. They always have the latest Essie and OPI seasonal colors. Their prices are comparable to downtown prices ($ 16 for mani and $ 40 for mani/​pedi), which is typically slightly more (they also have coupons, like $ 5 off on their website), but for nails that look good and last, top notch color selections and fast, professional, friendly service it makes it worth it in my eyes.

First time there, my girlfriend and I walked in just because the place was next to our business meeting location. Clean and friendly until they started to speak their language.
My girlfriend asked specific shape of nail to a male manicurist. He blasted and walked off middle of session.
Very unprofessional. They didn’t explain, they spoke with their own language. My gf didn’t understand what was going on.
Thank God I don’t have to go back to the place anymore.

This is my go to spot during the week for no chips! I rarely have a problem with my no chips not lasting here and if they do chip they will fix them with no issue!

I’ve gotten 2 no chip manis and 1 pedi on a few different occasions. I’ve been consistently happy with both and will likely return again. It is super convenient to my job — quick and efficient!

This is the first and only review I’ve ever left.
I’ve been coming here consistently for about 6 months and have always had good service. Not too much conversation, but great quality manicures. Today I went in for my usual fill-​in, I paid cash and planned to tip in cash because I’ve always waited to leave my tip until before I leave the salon. So after I paid and KC, JC? finished my nails, I went and sat under the dryers and he brought my things over for me since I did not get a no-​chip (I had to ask him to bring them). When he walked away, he stormed up the stairs and said loud enough for me to hear, «I can’t believe people don’t tip these days!» I’ve never experienced a manicurist act SO unprofessional. I was extremely offended and uncomfortable, and it is not a part of my personality to have said something to him. I will not be coming back here even with how close it is to my work. By the way, you’re welcome for the $ 5 tip, asshole!

Went there on my lunch break. Quick and simple. Very polite and helpful staff. I was in and out in 30 minutes with no-​chip. Tina did my nails just as I wanted. Perfection. Would go again. Lunch time gets busy, so get there before 11.

Desperately needed a pedicure while I was visiting Chicago. Searched the area and went to a nail salon that made me waited 10 – 15. I didn’t want to wait any longer so I went to grab some coffee and as I was walking back to the hotel I saw this place. There was no wait and service was quick, in and out in about 30 – 40 minutes. I didn’t do anything fancy because I was on a time schedule.
The place was clean, lots of staff, quick service, decent price.

Friendly staff, great spa pedicure, no chip mani quick and progressional.
Didn’t have to wait– walked right in after work. Had a different person for pedi and mani, and both were clearly experienced. Had both done in a little over an hour, and they look great.
First positive experience I’ve had at a loop nail salon. Finally found my go-​to near the office!

Finally. People who pay attention to detail and are friendly at the same time! I have been on an endless search to find a decent nail salon in the loop.
I really love this place. I get the no chip mani and they hold up so well here. I have had my nails done by Tina once and I loved them so much I came back. The next time I had Tiger do my nails and wow even better. The shape was perfect and the polish was applied so meticulously. This is my new main spot.
Its also really close to Union Station which is a plus :) I think they should do a loyalty program for their returning customers? With service so great what is not to love and come back for?

I was minimally satisfied with my mani-​pedi from Loop. The no chip application on my hands was the best part. Done meticulously and I love the colour finish. My attendant didn’t speak to me but I saw most of them were chatty and friendly, which is nice on a good-​mood day lol. $ 25
The pedicure I could have passed on. They called it the regular and maybe the real experience is in the spa pedicure, but at $ 70 a pop, I couldn’t be bothered. A good scrub, a quick rub down and a new colour application was fine by me. No lotion was a fail though. $ 35
I got annoyed halfway– The guy who did my pedicure was rushing me to move to the hand station and as a result, one of my toes got messed up (and corrected) and I later realized my big toe was smeared (but not too noticeably thanks to the dark colour).
I RECOMMEND– the no chip aka shellac manicure
EXTRA TIP– umm tax fraud much? Teller punched in $ 25 for my services in the till, yet when I asked for my receipt they gave me a handwritten one for full charges ($ 60 before tip). Wow. No shame.
If I gotta pay my taxes, YOU gotta pay your taxes.

I just went for a nail polish change, but from what I could tell from the women getting manicures around me they look decent. I was able to walk in and walk out.
Normally I like getting my nails done in fancy spa like atmosphere, but I like the idea that this place is more so get in and get out. If you need your nails done fast this seems like the place to go.
