The service is horrible, the technicians there are also very bad! They don’t know how to paint nicely, my pedicure and menu cute chipped the next day! Their nail polishes are very old and thick. Seriously have better service then maybe people come to your place.

Had a appointment at 5pm. I arrived and the lady told me to sit and she would be right with me. I sat on my phone for ten minutes passing time before I realized she had to finish someone’s whole pedicure before she took me. She admitted this was true and told me another 15 minutes. In total I waited 38 minutes past my appointment. When she finally took me she told me I don’t do acrylic fills I can only do gel on you I make you pretty. Lol ok. Gel is $ 10 more after making me wait she tried to charge me for a service I was forced to have after I confirmed acrylic fill. I told her I wouldn’t pay the difference she told me ok this one time I do for you… Then she started I was already red flagged I asked if she knew how to do the popular now coffin shape. I actually asked twice to confirm. She did not know how to do coffin shape. My nails are so crooked and very sloppily painted. She did not charge me for nails after such a experience. But god damn…

So glad LD is close to Union Station!!! I went there today for a pedicure and not only was Joanne sweet, she gave me the BEST pedicure I have ever gotten! Thanks Joanne! I will definitely be going back!

Joanne is fabulous! I’ve had acrylics for years but decided to switch to no chip, and she did an amazing job! Very sweet and does meticulous work. I will definitely be going back!

Great customer service!!! absolutely love Joanne! They really make you feel at home here! from the moment you enter till the moment your pretty agian this experience is one to remember! If your in Chicago and in need of some pampering this is the place to visit!

I have been here 4 – 5 times. Best no chip manicures I have ever received! Have gotten them three times and last 2+ weeks with no chipping. Pedicures are average.
Joanne continuously pressures/​remarks about getting your eyebrows done. I did it once and was not impressed. She did not remove the eyebrow makeup I had on. The result was unclean/​uneven. I would not have the service from here again. I will continue to say «no», even when asked 7+ times (I counted) during my nail service.
They require gratuity to be paid in cash and ask you if you brought cash for a tip prior to paying. Rude and annoying. Last time I went Joanne asked me to «help the business» and pay for my services in cash. I did not. She then told me «next time.» Not impressed.

Speedy (45-​min mani pedi). Functional and Effective. Lacks grace. On 2^nd Floor of Dunkin Donuts.
MANI — CeCee did a great job cleaning my overgrown cuticles. :-0. Edge painting.
PEDI — Joanne did a great job removing my ingrown nails, scrubbing my feet with a so so massage. Excellent edge painting as well.
QUICK DRY TOP COAT — kept my nails pristine after 20 mins. You don’t really need that UV drying station.
WAXING — Joanne is also a skin specialist. LOL. For a moment, I thought I would cry and/​or bleed to death due to course hair follicles. Surprisingly, I was ok. Joanne confirms that I am a Girl and comments that she will make my boyfriend happy. *wink* Challenging. Joanne got every hair.
VENUE — clean, organize and comfortable. Wedding fashion channel was on. By the time mani-​pedi is done, you want to walk down the aisle and get married. Lol

Probably the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to. All of the tools come in a new package and are sterile. Johann did my nails and I love them. I got the acrylics with a no chip polish. I’m very happy and will be back :)

Very spacious and clean! Everyone was very nice and accommodating! CiCi did my nails and she is so sweet! They have lots of magazines to flip through and nice massaging chairs.
Tons of colors to pick from! They are able to match your no chip color to a regular color too, which I have never seen at another salon!
Definitely become a member. I got $ 8 off for joining, so my total for no-​chip mani and regular pedi was $ 60 plus tip. My office is just a few blocks away, so this will be my new go to spot for my nails!

Joanne is the best! My nails have never been better, and my no-​chip from her lasts for more than 3 weeks! Everyone here is super nice, and I’ll always come here for my mani/​pedi!

I came in looking to get a set of acrylic nails, for the first time. I immediately noticed that the salon was very clean, employees were very attentive, and they had more services available than most.
Joanne did my pedicure, she did a great job cleaning up the cuticle and also making sure that the pedi spa was clean after I used it. It’s nice to see that people do it while you’re still there so that you know that it’s clean when you arrive. I wish they would have disposable tools but I did see that they zap them after each person.
Since it was my first time getting acrylics I feel that I was more picky or more nervous than most people. Danny did really well at explaining things and telling me what each step was and how to care for my acrylics and giving me recommendations for when I should return. He gave them a great shape at exactly the length I had in mind.
I just wish they didn’t charge for every little thing that they do and instead create a price sheet for different options so you know what you will pay upfront. I was charged an additional $ 5 for the coffin shape and another additional $ 5 for getting the cuticle removed from my hands, the shape should be included in the price. I do have to mention that I hit one of my nails on the way out and they fixed it no questions asked so they definitely made up for it.
I am happy with the work and I will continue to go to LD nails.

Just got my nails done by JoAnne. I got a full acrylic set, almond shaped. They look great. I’ll definitely be back.

I had an 11:15am appt. to receive a no-​chip mani. When I got there I had to wait 5 mins (no big deal, I’ll pick out a color). Once I was called to my technicians chair all set to begin services, the owner taps my tech and says «you go and help the gentleman customer (who randomly just popped in) and I will help your customer» (THE OWNER who is clearly NOT a nail tech). He started cutting and filing (didn’t bother asking me if I wanted round or square nails), plopped this horrible chunky looking polish on my nails and still had the nerve to ask if I wanted to add a tip to my charge :(:(:(
I am honestly SO upset that I even paid for the way my nails look right now, I could’ve done better at home!

I love coming here! I would recommend this place to anyone and have gotten both pedicures and no chip manis. I always see Joanne, she is amazing!!!
First, the spa is really clean and inviting and has a very relaxing atmosphere that I appreciate during the hectic work day :) I come during lunch and don’t have to wait and get back to work on time too.
Joanne does an amazing job, she is very meticulous and always makes my nails look amazing. She spends her time to make sure that my no chips last for two weeks and still somehow manages to move very quickly so I don’t over stay my lunch break! If you work or live in the area, this place should be your new go to! I tell everyone about it! Go see Joanne!

I love this place it’s very clean and calming and the staff it’s fast and friendly, Joanne has been doing my nails lately and she is extremely good, my nails last longer with her than anybody I been to precious to this place and she is very meticulous so they look perfect !!

I’m giving this two stars because the owner is nice and friendly. However, the lady that did my nails took over an hour to do no chip nails. I think it took an hour and a half. She took forever and still didn’t do a good job painting. Very frustrated that it started chipping after less than a week.
The quality of the nail technicians really lack. I’ve never had a consistently good experience here.

I am a frequent customer and especially as of late, am getting excellent service! They do a great job on my nails and pay close attention to detail. Kerry and Joanne have been doing my nails lately and I always get compliments on them!!! I get gel nail tips with no chip. They also do designs on my nails, and it’s beautiful! Great prices and friendly service.

What can I say– I like to slice and serve so need my nails to always look good. I Received VIP treatment here with a nice selection of music. (If you like Ryan Cabrera or EDM you’ll love this spot). This place is Brand new so everything salon is very clean– not to mention HUGE. I only only wish I had more than two friends so we could get our toes did together.
I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure and they did a great job. The Gel is pricey but so is being a female. I’ll def be back for my standing mani/​pedi appt.
