Kimberly is top notch when it comes to making a person feel whole again. I’ve had several instances of sharp and radiating pain from my back through my leg and she fixes it within 1 – 2 visits. I would highly recommend.

I have worked with Kim on many different issues over the years and think the world of her. She has made issues I didn’t even think of disappear.
Just this past week I went in to see her and she was able to treat my aching arms from working on the computer too much. I went in for something else, but through her questions, this came up and she was able to treat it. As I type, I have no pain.

I would recommend anyone, especially female, who needs or wants acupuncture, to go see Kim. And if you have an issue that you may not have even considered was something that acupuncture can help with, give her a call. I have been amazed with what I go in and tell her about and before I know it, that issue has disappeared.
She has provided herbs that I now take rather than a daily allergy pill. I don’t know about you, but I would rather take something natural to keep my allergies at bay then pop another pill from a pharmaceutical company. Again, I hadn’t given this much thought until it came up in conversation with Kim.
Kim is also reasonably priced, has a great office, and is very responsive and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about Kim. Go see her. You will be glad you did.

I happened upon Logan Square Acupuncture a few weeks ago when I was looking into alternatives to a long road of medical treatments for a chronic illness that’s not well-​understood within the western medical model. Suffice it to say it’s a «female» problem. Yuck. What fun. Guess what, though? After one consultation, I was already experiencing a cognitive shift away from feeling like a disempowered sick person.
After a mental and physical beat-​down with fluorescent lighting, filthy seating, and endless paperwork at Rush Hospital, I already started to feel hopeful within the first ten minutes of my consultation with Kimberly. Why? Because she was asking a series of questions that made it clear she really understood the nuances of the disease and offering lifestyle tips and tricks along the way. Win #1.
I’ve had two treatments so far, and I’ve already noticed huge physiological changes (not to mention the anxiety lift that goes along with knowing I’ve found the person, place, and things that are right for me in managing this disease). Kimberly knows what she’s doing, and there’s real knowledge and skill behind her confidence. So, Win #2 is that the treatments are the real deal.
Finally, and this is a big deal for me, the office is soothing and exceeds even my own OCD standards of cleanliness. Simply being there lends itself to the notion of being healthy and mindful. I think this says a lot about the owner’s philosophy and ability to attend to detail. (Related over-​share: I actually left my OB/GYN’s office with an iatrogenic UTI after my last visit, so yeah, clean offices and sterile equipment win points with me.)
Side note about payment: SInce my BCBS PPO prefers women to donate their bodies to expensive adventures in surgery and synthetic endocrinology, they won’t reimburse for this non-​invasive thing that’s actually working, but the cost of sessions is reasonable, and it’s worth making it work out of pocket.
Bottom line: Do it, especially if you’re looking for a first encounter with acupuncture.
