Leticia is amazing. She is very professional and does an impeccable job. It’s also worth to note she is very sweet and caring.
I just had a baby 6 weeks ago and I was nervous about going for my first wax after baby but I really didn’t need to be. She was so gentle and did not hurt me. Felt just like having a wax pre baby.
I have also gotten facials from her and aside from her gentle approach and great selection of natural products, I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed.
I Definitely recommend Leticia! No doubt about it for any of your beauty needs.

I actually look forward to my appointments because I love seeing her… and she’s really great at her job. Best waxer I’ve ever encountered. Never did I think that I would look forward to an appointment 2 months away, where someone would pour hot wax on me and rip out my hairs. I cannot wait to go back to Leticia. She was so welcoming and kind. I felt at peace and calm the entire time. She is truly a special soul whose kindness envelopes you. My wax was the most thorough and precise. My only regret is that once everyone knows about her, I may never get another appointment.

I’ve been procrastinating to post my review in hopes to keep Leticia a secret, so I wouldn’t have to share her but apparently my secret is out. Leticia is amazing! By far the best wax I’ve ever had. She’s so nice and makes you feel so absolutely comfortable, enough to where you look forward to going and just catching up. Leticia is such a professional, she is skilled, efficient, and creates a therapeutic/​spa environment from beginning to end. She and her salon are very clean. She’s meticulous and really takes pride in her work. She will make sure that you are happy when you leave. Best place to go for a waxing in the city. Leticia is very good at what she does and she will make you feel completely comfortable (which is not always easy when you naked in front of a stranger for the first time completely exposed). She is very thorough and ensures to walk you through everything she is doing. The location is very nice; it is relaxing, clean and comfortable. I will definitely be returning!

I have been seeing Letecia since 1999. I think this says it all. She has not only provided great facials, massages and waxes, but she also provides healing and relaxation. Leticia is wonderful; really a doll! She’s very welcoming and attentive– seems like an old friend. For any newbies she explains the processes very thoroughly and along the way so you aren’t shocked by anything.

The owner of Beauty and Soul, Leticia, is extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind and gentle person. The salon itself has a very relaxing and calming atmosphere. I have only gone there for Brazillian waxing and always have had a great experience since the treatment room is filled with amazing scents, feels extremely safe, is very clean and comfortable overall. I don’t know what I could possibly say that hasn’t been said below! Suffice it to say that I had such an amazing experience this morning for my first waxing that I made a Unilocal account just to sing Leticia’s praises! Her space is calm, clean and inviting, and the same (and more) can be said for the woman herself. I’ve already recommended her services to multiple friends! The waxing session felt more like a therapy than a painful depilatory session. Now I’m hooked, and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Just went for my first ever wax of any kind. I got a Brazilian and my armpits waxed and Leticia was amazing, comforting, knowledgable, and skilled. I also appreciate that she pointed out to me that with my fair akin and dark, coarse, curly hair, I am an ideal candidate for laser.
If you feel hesitant about wading and want a comforting place to try it, go here. Leticia is amazing and for someone who feels like I never get a fully clean armpit shave and get prickly in my bikini area after one day, I am looooving how my skin feels several days after waxing.

I went to Leticia for my first ever waxing. What an experience! She eased my fears and made sure I was comfortable and informed for every step of the process. It was no where near as painful as I anticipated and I might go so far as to say it was a relaxing and even enjoyable experience! The best part is that her quiet, cozy salon is less than a block away from my apartment. It feels like a blessing that I found her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

Leticia began by saying that she does treatments rather than facials. She meant that I was in store for a truly relaxing and nurturing experience in the hands of a caring person and skilled aesthetician. She read my skin well and I plan on following her recommendations for «at home» care. But what was even more important to me than my newly glowing skin, was the ability to step out of a very stressful place and feel restored. I plan on returning with each season change to help my skin transition.

7 years since I first went and I’m STILL seeing Leticia. Just wanted to reconfirm that she is still the greatest…

I have to start off by admitting that I did not read all previous reviews, so I’m sorry if I repeat things that others said (in a way, at least I’m confirming it!!!)
I have been getting Brazilian Waxes for years now, and this is by far the best place I have ever been to. After reading reviews on Unilocal,I went through numerous phone calls and email exchanges to set an appointment with her… and it was worth it.
One of my favorite things is that there is no receptionist or anything. It’s just you and her and her small salon. It’s quaint, cozy, and comfortable. I went during the winter… and it wasn’t cold… which is important when you’re naked.
I’ve been back to see Leticia a few times and she is just the sweetest out there. She’s thorough, quick, and really good at telling me when to breathe to ease off the pain. Seeing her is a treat!!!
I talk to my friends about her like she’s the icing on my cake!!!
