We have the most fun when I work with you and your guests to bring them out of their shell, when even the most avoidant karaōke goer can have a great time with: group numbers, sing-​a-​long, singable vamp music, and announcing in/​out each performer in/​out.

History

Established in 2015.

I began hosting private parties a number of years ago. I was asked to host a karaōke night in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico last year for 4 months. When I returned I hosted Thursday nights at Perry’s in Park Ridge, IL. I mainly focus on private gigs.

I own and operate Karaōke DJ — Jacob Allen Wood — as part of a number of ventures about which I’m passionate. Singing has always been a passion of mine. I get a kick of seeing others do the same. Good or bad, I don’t judge and I don’t care. Have fun!

Now I just want to focus on what makes me happy; that’s singing and helping others to use their voice in a safe, encouraging environment.

I grew up in Cumming, GA, about 40 miles north of Atlanta. After living around the east coast and Europe for a number of years I finally settled in Chicago September 2006. I’ve been in love with the place ever since (YES, even the winters. lol).
