My girlfriend and I were moving to the city from out of state, and Josh took great care of us during our apartment search. We didn’t know much about Chicago or what we would want in a place to live, so we really needed to rely on somebody for help. We only had one day when we’d be able to come look at listings, and Josh was willing to set aside his whole Saturday so he could drive us to apartments in just about every part of the city, even taking time to introduce us to the neighborhoods along the way.
In the end, the initial wishlist we had given Josh was apparently not what we really wanted (because we’re dumb and didn’t know better). Josh was able to figure out our actual preferences, adjust the search, find an ideal option, and schedule a showing — right in the middle of our only day in the city prior to move-​in. It paid off, and we’re in a great apartment in a neighborhood that suits us perfectly.
Josh is really easy to work with, has a knack for understanding his clients, and was an excellent guide for us as newcomers. I’m not sure where we would’ve ended up without his help, but I doubt we’d be as happy as we are with our current place.

My landlord stopped me on the street on a nice sunny Easter afternoon as I was heading out of town to visit my family, to tell me she was raising my rent 400 dollars, starting the following month. My roommate and I said no thank you and we needed to find a new place fast. I started the process of looking for places online and just as I was feeling overwhelmed, I got a message from Josh. He sent over 7 great listings that met our requirements and offered up a time to show me them right away that was convenient with my schedule. When we found a place we really liked, he worked hard to make sure we got it even though the landlord thought our combined income wasn’t high enough (it was). A great thing about Josh was he was easy to talk to you and reach and also very accessible, responding to emails right away and even staying late on a Friday to help us finalize the signing of our lease. We ended up getting the place after some finger crossing and nail biting, mostly thanks to Josh and we’ve had a great experience in this apartment. I highly recommend Josh for your real estate needs!

As a first time homebuyers, we were in a lot of stress looking for the perfect house. I contacted a realtor at
and I my case was given to Josh. He just so happen to live near the apartment we were renting. Josh is very patient in answering our queries and in showing us houses I have picked from the listing. He made sure we have a copy of the listings during house visits. He is prompt in emailing me on my concerns/​questions. He recommended a competent home inspector at a reasonable rate and he recommended a good lender that gave me a good rate. He explained to us our options if we give an offer for a short sale and a regular sale. He didn’t rush us in buying. He even made his research of current listings and recent purchases in the area and He made a very reasonable estimate of our «offer» price which is 20K cheaper than the listing price. Fortunately the offer price was approved by the property lender as short sale and appraisal perfectly matches the offer price. Everything went smoothly. He even picked us up to bring us to the closing venue (since it is in downtown Chicago), less stress to us. I would highly recommend him. He is the best!
