Wlked into Jimmy John’s today not one employee said ANYTHING, I’ve never been into a Jimmy John’s and was not greeted cheerfully. I decided not to make a purchase at all. Customer service is everything!!!

YUM, I’m a huge fan of Jimmy John’s sandwiches! They are a lunch staple for me. Décor: It’s a Jimmy John’s: seen one and you’ve seen ‘em all. But that isn’t bad, it’s clean, inviting, and well lit. There are a few tables, too, if you want to stay there and eat. Bathroom: I didn’t use it during this visit. Staff: The cashier girl was super friendly and welcoming and the sandwich makers were FAST(as usual!). I was in and out very quickly and that is just another reason I love JJ’s. Food/Drink: The sandwiches are delicious. Seriously, they are absolutely the BEST when it comes to franchised delis. Yes, they are THATGOOD! I always, always get The Gargantuan and this time was no different — it was glorious. Value: GREAT bang for your buck here. Wonderful value! I will always come back for more, this place is awesome.

Here’s what you need to know: It’s fast, it’s tasty, it’s clean, and it’s consistent. And this location has staff as pleasant and charming as any other JJ. This is the location in the DePaul Uni building on Jackson and State. I went here on a beautiful 75 degree evening so can’t speak to the air conditioning, but the store is in good shape and the bathroom(for which you need a key) was spotlessly clean. The young cashier(Hugo) kept trying to upsell me, which I thought was funny yet kinda admirable since he was so into it. I asked for the Vito(terrific sandwich) and he insisted I should go for the comparable giant sandwich instead(similar to the Vito but has ham as well). I declined, and mentioned that I was debating between the Vito and the Salami Slim. At that point he went on to tell me how the slim was never a good option since it had no mayo or veggies, and acted like it would be a crime of epic proportions… nay, a cardinal sin, if I ordered a $ 5 sandwich instead of a $ 6.25 sandwich :) I stuck to my guns and went with the Vito. The sandwich was made in seconds(as is always the case with JJ) and was fresh tasting and enjoyable. Overall a good experience that met my expectations, with some colorful interaction with the cashier. PS: I love that they have sprouts. Not many JJ franchises carry that anymore, especially in the burbs…

Food good but not enough space to eat. Also very cold in winter months; need to install an additional door to stop cold air from entering.

The best place about Jimmy John’s is that they allow you to have your sandwich made with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. That way you’re able to eliminate so much more carbs in the sandwich! I had ordered the tuna salad sandwich using the lettuce wrap. Their tuna salad is made with onions and I’m not a fan of onions. Other than that this place is great! Service was fast and quick.
