History

Established in 2014.

I own and operate a parking lot near Wrigley Field in Chicago. The lot can also be used by the Chicago Film Industry to park their catering trucks. Our lot situated in the heart of Wrigleyville/​Lakeview.

I am the PROUD owner of Ivy’s Secure Parking. The parking lot business started in 1988 when Wrigley Field first turned on their lights. That was 1988. since then we’ve been parking cars for CUB fans. Offering FREE peanuts, EZ out spots, late stayers also parki with us. We’re in the heart of Wrigleville where you’ll find some of the greatest bars like Redmonds, Irish Oak, Sluggers, Red Ivy, Cubby Bear, Harry Carey’s, Murphy’s, Old Crow. just to name a few. Amazing eateries as well

We aim to please and want you coming to our lot for ALL occassions

We also turn the lot into a Winter Wonderland starting before thanksgiving thru Christmas. We offer FREE delivery to most in the neighborhood with our fragrant fraser firs from the specially grafted seedlings of North Carolina. Beautiful trees that hold thru the entire season. you won’t see ANY needles dropping with these. Their fragrance welcomes you when entering the magical lot. Come to 1013 W Roscoe and see us

Terrible tree. Leaked sap all over our presents. When we came back from Christmas we had spiders all over the floor. Disgusting.

Outstanding quality trees. Price is fair, $ 81.00 for a six-​foot tree and cheap stand. Couple of suggestions: Don’t buy your tree at night, it’s tough to judge the shape. Don’t load tree in the trunk because it damages the branches (my bad). Should use a sharp hand-​saw instead of the dull electric chain to cut the trunk saw because it’s quicker and leaves a superior cut. Delivery is free in the neighborhood, but would have cost me $ 40 as I live 4.2 miles from the lot. Owner seemed somewhat displeased that I used a credit card. An overall decent experience, but I’ll shop my neighborhood next year.

Ivy’s Christmas Trees totally rocks! I was a first-​time tree buyer with no clue so I turned to Unilocal for ideas. I called Ivy to ask how purchase and delivery work and she explained the deets. They want to be paid in cash, peeps!
When I arrived, Bryan and Ryan were very friendly and helped me find my tree and Ryan even snapped a photo for me. It was pouring rain and these two were still is good spirits and took the time to answer all of my questions. I got a beautiful, divine-​smelling tree (and a tree bag for easy cleanup) at a great price. Plus, they offer free delivery within the neighborhood and will even help you set up your tree!
Bryan came by to deliver my tree and realized that my tree stand was not even functional. He and Ivy actually came back within the hour and brought me a new stand (for purchase) and got me all set up. Amazing! Talk about going the extra mile. Bryan could see I was in a bind and really wanted me to be happy and have my tree set up and I was so grateful for the help.
My husband was delighted to come home from work and see that everything was taken care of already! They said they can come back and pick up the tree and recycle it sometime in January. I would highly recommend adding a gorgeous tree from Ivy’s to your holiday traditions! Thank you again guys, you are the best!

We got our tree from here last year and it was great! It smelled great and lived well past Christmas, it was almost a shame to take it down. We just went back tonight to get this years tree. The staff is very friendly and made our experience memorable! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the city!

We have tried other lots in the city. Ivy’s has the best selection of trees. Friendly staff, helpful, and trees that last through the season. They are definitely part of our holiday traditions.

Good tree selection. They charge $ 3 extra if you want your tree wrapped in netting. A 6ft Fraser fir will run you $ 64. Also– they are cash only — or at least have a sign that says so.

We have come here several times to get our tree. Her staff is amazing and kind and helpful, so this in no way reflects their work. She was just incredibly rude.
We wanted to pay with a card. She said, «if you have come here before you’d know that I love cash». Um, we paid with a card last year and it wasn’t a problem. She was rude and I’m pretty sure we will take our business elsewhere. Don’t be a jerk to returning customers. Say Merry Christmas and run the damn card.

Ivy and Ryan are the best! They were open today in the cold pouring rain and could not have been friendlier!
After years of mixed success buying trees from parking lots, we decided to check out Ivy’s. All of their trees are from North Carolina and are in great shape. Great, friendly service, reasonably priced and in Lakeview! Go here!

I went to Ivys and was so impressed. We Had the real christmas experience. I found the perfect christmas tree for my little family. There were so many beautiful trees to chose from of different sizes i couldnt even decide! The staff was so friendly and showed me a few until I found our perfect tree. The delivery was fast and tree trimmed beautifully when i got it. The tree is absolutely gorgeous! My home smells like christmas. Im n love and soo happy with my beautiful real tree! Ivys definitely is the place to get the masarati of christmas trees!

This is my second year getting a tree from Ivy’s and the quality is truly incredible. She even opened a night early (tonight) for us after we were seen browsing outside the fence.

This is the fourth year I have bought a tree at Ivy’s. The first year I went because it was close to my apartment. I’ve since moved and still keep coming back because of how great the trees at Ivy’s are!
Everyone is always so friendly, and the guy who was helping me was more than willing to walk around holding up as many trees as I wanted to see (let’s just say, he held up a few!). I love that they deliver the tree to my place, and this year they started offering tree removal services as well!
I have recommended Ivy’s Christmas Trees to numerous friends and now they are all hooked on getting their trees from there too!

I went to Ivy’s after reading a lot of favorable reviews. I got there at around 11 on a Saturday to pick out a tree. The staff was helpful and I found a tree that I liked. I think this is the kind of an experience that I would have had at any other tree place. There was no reason to go all the way to Lakeview to shop at Ivy’s. The prices on trees were about the same as they are everywhere else. There was a bit of a line, so I ended up waiting around 10 minutes to pay for the tree. Ivy was mildly pleasant, but at first said that she is not going to take a credit card and that it’s cash only. I told her that I didn’t bring $ 120 in Cash and if she can’t accept a credit card, I’ll have to go somewhere else. At this point, she reluctantly took my credit card.
Again, OK experience overall. Probably the same experience you can get anywhere else, so if you live in the neighborhood, I’m sure this place works. If you have a closer tree lot, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit Ivy’s.

We decided to go to a local business for our daughter’s first Christmas tree. Unilocal brought us to Ivy’s.
We showed up on a particularly busy and difficult night. After hearing about our rough experience Ivy did everything she could to turn it around for us.
We’re thankful she cares so much about making the experience right for people. That is what makes small local businesses great!
We’ll be back next year.

Awesome place. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
The lady running the shop is great and shes super friendly. Gave us a free gift too after our tree and garland purchase.
I went here for delivery but decided to walk the tree to the bus and took it home that way, no shame.
Only thing that knocks them from 5 stars is it says it accepts credit cards but when you get there the sign says cash only. Had to hit an ATM around the corner and pay a fee, so only hassle.
Otherwise excellent choice for your city christmas tree.

Ivy’s is hands down the best place to get a tree in Chicago.
The proprietor, Ivy, is extremely knowledgable and helpful, and provides a top-​notch customer experience — and she’s very nice.
We got our first tree from Ivy and had a few (user error) problems upon setting it up at home. Ivy answered the phone each time I called and gave advice on how to fix the situation. She is also responsive to email and has a great newsletter that will alert customers on season openings and other useful information.
As for the in-​lot experience, it took five minutes to pick out a great tree and step inside a heated room to pay. When we walked out of the office, someone had already cut the stump and tied the tree to our car. Very impressive.
Regardless of where you live, go see Ivy for your Christmas tree needs.

Ivy is amazing. Being my first Christmas in Chicago, I was excited to get a real tree. Didn’t have to search long online to find that Ivy has great reviews and also delivers to the loop.
1. She was very accommodating in terms of delivery times and trying to put it around my schedule. Always kept me updated if there were any changes.
2. The tree itself is lovely. 8.5 ft Fraser fir is gorgeous and makes the place smell great.
I definitely recommend getting a tree from Ivy’s.

Ivy is so sweet! It’s our first time getting a real Christmas tree and everywhere I looked was sold out as far as online orders went. Ivy’s Facebook page accepted orders so that’s the route I went.
The day after I placed the order I got a phone call to make sure we actually wanted the tree because we were the first online order. It was great to hear about all the pricing and everything from Ivy herself. She is so hands-​on! Ivy takes the time to explain how to properly set up and water the tree. She really cares about each customer and tree.
Our tree is so beautiful and the delivery service was great! I recommend Ivy’s Christmas Trees to anyone :) we’re getting a taller tree next year for our high ceilings and we’ll be calling Ivy!
