Established in 2012.

For years the ITGuy Has seen people get taken advantage of in the area of technology. With that being said we’ve taken a completely different approach to supporting residential and businesses in this vital area of there lives. We don’t only fix your issue but we’ll instruct you on how to resolve the problem yourself, if it should ever happen again. We also go the EXTRA MILE, we provide 3 months of online support after we’ve resolved your issue, in short, this means we will tune-​up, remove any virus, install any software, and basically do anything within our remote desktop capabilities, FOR FREE*. So when you choose us you don’t only get a one-​time fix you get an IT Guy who is willing and ready to support you in your time of need.

From there he worked at Motorola for 8 years as an IT Support Specialist, gaining invaluable real world IT experiance, This allowed him to branch out on his own and start a new beginning.

ITGuy provides a professional IT Service at a reasonable price for your home and office IT needs. Two months ago I called ITGuy in a rush to fix some computer problems that resulted from an overnight power outage. I spoke to George about the problems and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating in scheduling a next day appointment. We were in a huge bind because we could not operate properly without the internet. And calling Comcast was our last resort considering the poor services that they have provided to us in the past.
The next day George showed up on time and within an hour or so had the problem resolved. There was a problem with our wireless router which lost the bridge connection to the Comcast modem in the power outage. George was quick to identify the problem and make the fix. He also ran diagnostics and clean ups of all of our computers, and made suggestions on how to improve several of the computers that were running slow.
We called George a second time a week later to fix a problem with our office printer, and to install more RAM on the computers that were running slow. Again, he completed the tasks quickly and efficiently at a minimal cost.
I would highly recommend ITGuy for your office needs and would not hesitate to call him again for future services.

Worked with George from IT GUY today. I have to agree with the rest of the Unilocalers on this one. He did live up to all the positive reviews. I had what Best Buy claimed to be a «junk it» and buy a new unit situation. Turned out to be a bad NIC on my PC, George was able to run down to the local parts store pick up the part and install it in around an hour. He also was able to clean out my PC for a small fee. I am very happy with his professionalism and knowledge. Thank you IT GUY!

NOV 2015: George went above and beyond — very trustworthy, professional, polite & thorough. He came to my home a few hours after i called. My husband was working but i had no reservations having him there with myself & 4 year old. I had additional needs the following day and he was able to remotely address my problem-​spending much more time on my computer after he had already been paid. Excellent service. I will use him again, I have already recommended him to a friend.

If I could give 10 stars here I would. We live downtown and had no good internet signal for years, escalating to the point of our having a mostly dead signal the past 6 months. RCN, AT+T and Comcast all weighed in on the issue but couldn’t fix the problem for us. Geek Squad and Abt sold us a lot of equipment and services that gave us no better a result and cost us a fortune. My electrician suggested getting an engineering company out to look at the situation but this company gave us a ridiculously high estimate to put in all new wiring and buy yet more equipment. I found George’s number on Unilocal.He immediately called me back and made plans to come over with a low voltage specialist who he said we wouldn’t even need for the job. Within hours and with no additional equipment to purchase, we were able to for the first time get enormously fast internet speed! The price was incredibly fair and I can’t wait to refer his company to my friends and family. I am blown away by his knowledge base in the IT world. I will continue to work with George on all kinds of projects. Thank you, George. You are a master at what you do.

Mike Marshall handled the server upgrade for a previous company I worked for in the last year. He was great! He answered all of my questions and made sure to keep me updated during the whole process. He was always available when we needed support (offsite and onsite). He’s a pleasure to work with and always positive about any given situation. I miss working with him to solve my previous company’s IT issues.
Georoge K. was always on hand for little issues that popped up in the office. If he could, he would stop by the office to troubleshoot issues onsite. He was also a pleasure to work with.

George is amazing! I had him fix my laptop that had slowed down and finally become almost unusable over the years. It only took him a couple days to fix it completely anew. In addition to my original request regarding the Wifi network connection, he found over 15 different viruses that also had contributed to the final breakdown of my laptop. I can not say enough good things about The IT Guy. George came to my location regarding my networking and other issues I was having with my pc’s. George also installed software and recommended great products to use. I had so many issues with my PC’s that It took a few days to get my PC and systems cleaned up and secure but throughout the whole experience George always assured me that he could and would get ALL issues resolved. George came out to my house to help me transfer everything from an old desktop to a new laptop. I am tech challenged and spent an hour trying to do it myself.
George patiently explained what he was doing as he did it. He assisted with additional problems.

I used ITGuy last year to look at a couple things for me.
1) A micro SD drive from my Android phone that somehow lost its data.
2) A 2nd hand diy gaming pc that wasn’t working.
Neither of these things ended up being really fixable, but, I was happy with the service I received nonetheless. SD cards, once their data is lost, it’s lost. In my case it didn’t seem to be retrievable because it had nothing on there, which the Walgreens photo guy also said. The PC needed at the very least a new video card, which George purchased at MicroCenter (the best place for pc & other electronic stuff). He tried to get the pc to work, but it really just needed a complete overhaul including a new HD and memory, which I suspected anyway since I only paid $ 150 for on Craigslst. The 150 covered the case & the other parts which were, at that point, older anyway.
Since then, I have also referred to ITGuy for recommendations such as his thoughts on anti-​virus (paid or free). He has always replied back to my emails & texts very promptly (sometimes immediately). He came to my door to drop the stuff off back to me, and probably would have come to pick up as well, though I opted to drop off so I’d know where it was going. I believe he was honest, communicative, and easy to work with.

I hereby vouch for this businessperson’s integrity.
I had a laptop less than 2 years old went dead. TheITGuy diagnosed a fried m-​board and declined to refurbish it, saying in all likelihood purchasing a new box was the smarter move.
In other words, the man declined work b/​c in his mind it wasn’t in the customer’s best interest. I call that integrity and choose the word carefully.
In the future if and/​or when I need computer based work I know who I am calling first.
Like others, getting ripped-​off has left me cynical, if not outright suspicious, of almost all repair shops. Finding an honorable proprietor makes me WANT to to help steer others his way. And I do so with this Unilocal.
