I came in here before rehearsal the other day and as I paid –cash only– for my Evian, I remembered how much I used to like Happy Grocery! This was my shop of choice when I lived around the corner at Artist in Residence. The gentlemen that work there are super nice, they always have chocolate milk, and the Ben & Jerry’s pints are always 2 for $ 7. I miss having a friendly store like this around the corner.

Your basic corner grocery store. It doesn’t have all the essentials but most of the bases are covered. It’s much better to run into here and quickly get what you need than to go into Dominics and get lost and stuck in lines.
