Those two guys are amazing and they usually have Daisy Cutter!

Love this place. The guy working there (it’s almost always the same one) is always incredibly upbeat and helpful. He’s always making cracks (usually when he can tell I’m buying stuff to fight a hangover).
One time when I was buying white wine on a hot day he let me know they had wine in fridge too which was exactly what I needed! And every time he checks my ID he tells me my name is «Beautiful» Thanks bud!

I live across the street and every day I wake up thankful for that. Two weeks ago, I finally bought a bottle of Patron for a friend’s birthday after being asked by George if I wanted one on every single visit for the past few years. It was a milestone.
They have recently improved the beer and food selection for that matter, which is perfect for tiding me over between grocery trips or when I run out of something when cooking. They have some version of almost anything you would ever need, including Suave shampoo, twine, a wide selection of ice cream, exotic sodas, and a surprisingly large selection of dairy products.

i have a peculiar habit of buying everything BUT liquor at liquor stores — and this place is great for that! (just got drano there this morning) the people who work there are super friendly — it’s the perfect corner shop in that neck of the woods. so nice to support a local business as opposed to a chain like ⁷⁄₁₁

This place is 1000 feet from my house and I’m in there once a day. It’s actually called Bön Song Liquor but they’ve just kept the sign up. One day that sign will be mine.
Oh, once I asked George about the name and he said it was pronounced «gristle and junior».

O.K., first of all, I say «Gri-​zell» — not «gristle» like bad meat. gross.
AND, they have the cutest sign out front (not that the sign makes it a good place, but it’s cute nonetheless).
They have a really decent selection of beer, wine and liquor (not that I ever purchase any of those things (ahem) but that’s what I’ve heard.
Good selection of chilled beer, wine and champagne, too.
Convenient ATM (right by the door) and they have cans of FRESCA!
YEA!
