A fairly new business(2008). Fares are no different from standard Chicago taxi guidelines but the service is infinitely better(and green! The cars are new(2009, as of the moment) and partial zero emission). Polite, professional, patient, prompt, punctual, safe, friendly. In short, everything you could want from a taxi service. The driver who picked me up from the train station even waited around FORTYMINUTES for my train to arrive(it was running really late), declining three fares so that he could be sure to be there when I arrived — AMAZING. That’s already enough to get him a hefty tip, but beyond that he was also really friendly, a very safe/courteous driver, and he got me to my destination quickly and efficiently(without weaving and speeding). Note again that this is without jacking up the rates — really, where’s the down-side? Reduce your carbon footprint and receive great service without paying any more for it than you would for a rude, reckless driver from one of the bigger/better known companies. Apparently they also do limo service, though I haven’t yet tried that. If I lived in the Chicago area rather than merely visiting I would definitely put these guys on speed-dial. As it is I will certainly keep their number around in case I visit Chicago again. Anyway, I was VERY impressed and I hope you’ll give them a try if you’re in the area.
