History

Established in 2010.

I became licensed 4 years ago and have had fantastic families enrolled in my daycare.

Most children start after they’re first born, and stay with me until it’s time for pre-​k.

While I do have kids join at an older age (3 – 4 years the oldest), we specialize in both infant & toddler care & curriculum.

I am the license holder and director, and main caregiver at my home daycare.

I’ve been working with kids for over 30 years, and it is my passion.

I am CPR and first aid certified, licensed by the state of IL, and take yearly classes to educate myself through DCFS in early childhood development.

Gramma Lupe is an unbelievable caretaker. My wife and myself weren’t comfortable putting our first child in daycare, so we were very picky when choosing. Gramma Lupe made it an easy choice. Gramma Lupe loves what she does and it showed in the development in our child. Gramma Lupe’s daycare is a professional, organized, and well ran daycare. If you want your child to be safe, happy, and loved choose Gramma Lupe.

Lupe cared for our son for almost 2 years and he loved it here. We loved the clean, small, safe in-​home environment that Lupe provided. There is no doubt that she loves the babies she cares for as she treats them like her own grandchildren. Lupe is great about communicating and was always available if we had questions during the day.

Gramma Lupe’s Daycare is one of the best! Lupe is a certified daycare provider and she takes wonderful care of my 8 month old daughter. I could not be happier with her care and communication, she is unlike any other daycare I have used in the past for my older child. I would 100% recommend Lupe to any family looking for care!

It goes without saying that choosing a daycare is a BIG decision!!! My wife and I feel VERY fortunate that we found Lupe. She and her staff have provided loving care for both our son and daughter. Lupe has a gift for making babies happy, and consistently goes above and beyond our expectations. Every child is different, and Lupe goes out of her way to meet their needs. Lupe is excellent at communicating with us to let us know how our child is doing, what supplies are needed, or simply to text us a cute picture, which always brightens our day.

My daughter is a little finicky when it comes to leaving her with others, but Gramma Lupe and her staff are always there to meet her with smiles and cheers. She sends photos and texts throughout the day, to let me know how the baby is doing. They always let me know if she is running low on supplies, and the daily update I get when I pick her up is informative and reassuring. My baby loves the socializing she gets while there, and is always happy to see her friends!

I have been thrilled with the care my child has received at Gramma Lupes Place. Lupe’s communication is top notch. If I have special requests for my child’s care, they are honored and I always know the ins and outs of my child’s day. My child is happy at dropoff and happy at pickup every day, and I know that Lupe loves all of the children as if they were her own grandchildren. My daughter gets appropriate developmental activities and interactions with other children her age. Her home is spotless, quiet, comfortable, and safe. I would recommend Gramma Lupe’s Place to anyone looking for care.
